Those many years ago

My heart began to stir.

When you first walked in that door

Your heart belonged to her.

She could've dressed in rags,

While I in jewels and fur.

I would not have existed to you

Because your heart belonged to her.

She is not around now

But tears make my vision blur.

I will always love you, but

Your heart will always belong to her.
