A/N: This fic was inspired by two pictures by silveray. They are "Hell NOOO" and "MegSS;" you can find them in her gallery on deviantart, yes. I dedicate this fic to them. C:

The day had been long, and despite how little work Megatron had (not entirely so surprising) to do in order to get through it alive, he felt tired. It was not entirely a physical fatigue, so much as it was stress brought on by escalating rage. Not that this was new, even before the attempted assassinations--Starscream tended to frequently give him processor aches.

The first attempt to kill the warlord was amusing, the second still, the third annoying, the fourth irritating, the fifth bringing Megatron to a slow sluggishly building fury. But after silence and inactivity past about a good hour after Starscream's latest failed attempt at deactivating the current Decepticon leader, Megatron was working his way backwards, slipping into irritation at today's lack of anything getting properly done and soon, back to his normal, calculating self.

However, as Megatron settled into his throne, enjoying a night cap of fine high grade, he discovered Starscream was not quite finished with his ambitious plans. Megatron had only just poured his goblet to the rim (usually he was more modest about drinking, but given today...) when he heard the familiar 'clack clack' of heels on the ground. They were approaching him from the shadows of safety about a yard or two away. He sensed no energy signature; hadn't since he killed Starscream the first time, but he knew that sound. Seekers had a distinct noise they made when they walked; sometimes it was awkward pattering, since they were so adjusted to flying instead.

"Megatron," the shrill voice sniggered from the darkness, "I'm hooome."

"Ah," Megatron replied, repressing the fading irritation, "and just when I thought I'd finally disowned you for good."

Starscream appeared from the shadows bit by bit until completely submerged and bathed in a soft glow of purple, blue and white. Megatron turned to regard him with a disapproving glare, but found himself shockingly surprised at the Seeker's current state. He looked worse for wear, Starscream, chassis chipped, sliced and cut in various locations. His cockpit glass was no more and one wing looked like it was ready to fall right off. Mostly, however, the exhaustion was apparent in his dim red optics and bitter frown. The last hit must have been a bad one, considering Starscream was still dripping with water from the river he had been thrown into.

But as long as he had his ambition and null rays, Starscream wasn't down for the count yet.

And Megatron couldn't help himself: "Looks like you dragged your sorry chassis right out of the trash heap."

Starscream gave a small disapproving 'tch,' one optic narrowing tighter. "You're going to look ten times worse when I'm done with you," he threatened lowly, "not even your own soldiers will be able to recognize your faceplates once I've blown a good twenty holes in them."

Megatron was not phased by this, however. In fact, he just remained lounging. Took another drink of his energon. Starscream twitched, expecting some sort of reply or rise. But it appeared Megatron was not going to give in. At least earlier he had taken up the challenges and fought back. It was old now, almost routine, so there really was no need to get worked up. Finally, after a minute of tense silence, Megatron said calmly, "This story has been told dozens of times before." He looked calmly at his scrap metal goblet. "And we both know exactly how it ends."

"With me ripping you apart?" Starscream mused with a sneer. There was a bitter tone in his voice, however, small as it was.

"I've got ten kliks before I retire for the orn," Megatron informed. Telling Starscream he was going to sleep was not making an opportunity for him. It was insulting the Seeker. Megatron was so confident in his safety he didn't mind informing his ex-second that he was going to bed. "You can leave in five with your wings intact."

"I'm not scared of you," Starscream insisted. Though of course he was... only a little. "I proclaimed to this very mudball of a planet I'd offline you for good today. I'll make due on my promise." To no one, really.

"Four kliks."

Starscream ground his dental plates together. How dare Megatron shrug off his death threats!? Starscream quietly activated his null rays. There was very little juice left in them but he figured he could get in at least two shots for each one. First he would blast Megatron from his throne before killing him; the Decepticon leader would die at its feet like a lowly servant, not as a king. "I'm afraid your time, however, is up," the Seeker smirked and cocked up his arms, shooting a blast at Megatron's head.

Despite being tired, Megatron moved fast. He was up from his throne in no time. While this was a good thing for Starscream (he successfully removed him from his chair), the blast had narrowly missed the warlord and now Megatron was coming at him like a typhoon, sword out and back to slice off the traitor's head. Starscream was too weak, low on energon to outrun him in time. He would have taken flight had his thrusters had more power, but instead all he could do was scramble back with a gasp.

To his shock, Megatron had not lopped off his head. Rather he had shoved Starscream hard into the wall. Survival instincts kicked in and Starscream aimed his null rays at the silver mech. The distance was too close and most likely he'd feel some of the impact. But if it meant surviving--even if he wasn't truly alive, anyway... Starscream fired his right null ray--only for Megatron to grab its length, bend it clean upward and let the shot take out a chunk of the ceiling. Debris rained down on the two Decepticons and of all things, a thick wad of it conked Starscream on the head. But Megatron was juuuust fine.

Megatron yanked off the other null ray before letting the broken one go. The side of his sword's blade was pressed to the Seeker's throat, dangerously close to cutting vital fuel lines. Starscream swallowed and felt a shiver run down his spine strut. His hands remained raised but helpless. "You think you'll come back," the silver mech growled lowly, "missing your head?"

Even if he did, bodyless was never a good outcome. "H-Hey, h-have mercy, Lord Megatron," Starscream mumbled, resorting to ass kissing, "l-look. I-If you let me go, I swear I-I'll leave you be once and for all."

"Why do I find that hard to believe?" Megatron leaned in closer. "With the state you're in, to take you out--once and for all--would be doing you a favor."

"T-Then you definitely don't want to," Starscream tittered.

Megatron couldn't help but chortle at that. "You can be amusing in ways other than your stupidity," he teased. Starscream narrowed his optics but kept grinning his dental plates. The Decepticon leader scanned his ex-soldier's chassis. The way he shook with all those "battle" scars... "You know, you look your best when you're about ready to fall to pieces. Never thought I would say that."

"I am... flattered," Starscream grumbled, unsure what to say. Arguing back now seemed futile and... it would only lead to another painful death. "Let me go, and I promise you won't--"

"Oh, we both know you're like a roboroach," Megatron spat, "you'll keep coming back for more until you've achieved your goal. That which will never happen; not in my lifecycle, not in anyone's." A sly smile played at his lips. "I never truly realized how masochistic you were until this orn."

The Seeker gulped again, optics darting back and forth from the blade pressed to his throat to Megatron's face. "W-Well, I, uh..." What could he say? He had begged, but it didn't seem to be working. Still, you can never grovel enough-- "M--Lord Megatron, let's, uh, call it quits. Y-You're definitely much stronger than--"

"Oh no," Megatron interjected. "Not when you've gotten me all worked up again." He leered and Starscream widened his optics. "I think for this orn, I've had enough pleasure from killing you. Now, I think, we'll try a little something else..." Black fingers wrapped themselves around the Seeker's tattered wing and Starscream jumped, just enough to nick a small cut along a fuel pump. He squeaked, arms struggling to flail.

The Seeker ground his dental plates. "N-Not that...!" They hadn't... done that in vorns.

"You never complained in the past," Megatron reminded. "In fact..." He drew back his sword and Starscream relaxed for a brief second. Then the silver mech grabbed his throat, squeezing tightly until claws were digging into his hand. He tossed Starscream aside like a rag doll, the Seeker skidding along the ground like a stone on water, sparks flying from metal crashing against metal. "... You often initiated it first," Megatron finished, approaching his ex-second with his sword still equipped.

Starscream propped himself on his elbows, raising a hand in defense. "T-That was millennia ago! I was young!" And stupid.

Satisfied he was safe, Megatron retired his sword, before moving forward and taking the Seeker's flailing shield hand in his. Starscream shrieked and shot out the other to push him off. Megatron, in turn, just took it as well. "No! I hate interfacing with you!" he spat angrily, optics flaring with fear and disgust and sudden memories of the past times they had bonded made his cheekplates hot-- He shoved hard. "I don't want to!"

Megatron forced his massive weight on the smaller Decepticon, forcing him to lie out on his back. "You don't, you say?" He pinned Starscream's arms above his head, before casting a gaze to the slightly opening sprocket ports along Starscream's hips. "You're opening willingly."

Starscream blinked before looking down. He angrily cursed and gave a violent jerk. "Slag you! It's your fault!" he whined, out of options. And it didn't help that his lashing had led to his hips grinding against the warlord's. Megatron chortled, but it came out akin to a deep throated purr.

"Consider this the last time, if you will," the silver mech stated. The panels along his own hips retracted, a pair of thick, red cords sneaking out from within. They slithered along Starscream's thighs and he gave a half-appreciative, half-annoyed whimper as they made their way to the exposed ports. "So you might as well enjoy it." The tips of these cords spread open in blossom, ejecting needle points that buried themselves into the Seeker's two ports.

Starscream shrieked when connection was made as two jolts of ticklish electricity danced along his frame. His legs bent before clamping against Megatron's sides. "I might drain you dry. You never know," Megatron snickered. He finally let the Seeker's hands go, letting them drop beneath the bent knees until Starscream's legs were nearly draped over his shoulders. "But with the way things have been going this odd little orn, you may survive."

"Frag you!" the jet scowled and sunk his claws against Megatron's chest.

"Careful now," Megatron warned. Through the cords connecting their bodies, he shot forth another pair of electric volts. Starscream gasped and lurched again. "You're in a very delicate situation," the Decepticon leader smirked. His arms tightened around his captive's legs. "You're in my hands."

Starscream shivered. His hands reluctantly drew back, pressing to the ground beside him. "I'll... kill you..." he scowled weakly. "I swear..."

Megatron moved forward, forcing the Seeker's body to roll upward, his rear against the warlord's mid section. "Doubtful," he disagreed before once more shocking the lithe body beneath him. Starscream cried out, his servos now tearing into the floor. "The overload may knock you offline, you know..." Megatron gave another strong pulse and Starscream's body quivered as it ripped through his systems. "... That's a bit dangerous, don't you think? A risk you might not have a choice but to take."

"Frag... you...!"

The Decepticon leader rocked against his body, their chassis creaking. "You're not as eloquent during interfacing," he taunted. Another rush of energy and Starscream cried out again, this time an arm flying up to grab a massive shoulder. "But you are," Megatron noted with a slight grimace, "ten times more loud."

If Starscream was lucky, maybe his screeching would break the old pervert's audio receivers. "S-Shut up," he scowled instead, body swaying with the motion. "Mm'not a-afraid of y-you!"

Megatron let one quivering leg go, dropping his hand to rest beside Starscream's head. With another surge of energy into the Seeker's howling body, he swept in closer. Their faces were mere inches apart and Starscream was looking into those old optics, seeing his frightened reflection in double. "Are you positive of that?" the silver mech smirked darkly before giving another hard pulse of energy and electricity.

Starscream's head dropped back with another scream. With his mouth open and optics tightly narrowed, Megatron smiled slowly. A moment later, he dipped his head forward, taking the Seeker's mouth in his own. That seemed to have sealed the deal.

At this point, body dazed with incoming overload, Starscream's light and tired CPU tossed reality out the window. He tilted his head, deepening the kiss and his glossa was the first to find itself exploring, tasting along the rims of the warlord's dental plates. Starscream pulled himself closer with the hand on Megatron's shoulder, sucking and biting until coolant leaked from the corner of his lips. He drew back for a short second, cycling out hot air on Megatron's lips before diving in for another kiss.

The Decepticon leader opened a comm link. Well, it seems you're your own worst enemy. Treacherous even to yourself.

Starscream bit into Megatron's bottom lip. Shut up! He then dropped, back slamming into the ground as overload finally struck him.
