Bella POV

I laughed as I watched Anthony chase Robert around the house with a metal baseball bat. It was the second time that Robert broke Anthony's X-box since we moved back to Forks.

Forks.

I shuddered at the memories that cruelly played themselves through my mind.

"Bella we're leaving."

I frowned, wondering what he was talking about, "Ok sure where are we moving to?"

His eyes turned into steel. "Bella. My family and I are moving. Not you."

Suddenly it all sunk in. My eyes widened and I staggered backward, dropping to my knees. "No-no-YOU CAN'T! WHY? WHAT DID I DO?" I pleaded with him, the tears spilling down my face.

A flash of emotion, remorse? Pain?, flashed across his face but then returned to the stone mask. "Do you honestly think we could've stayed here forever Bella? Carlisle can hardly convince people he's 25 anymore! You know it wouldn't have lasted forever."

"No. Please stay. I need you." I whispered as I looked down to the forest ground. "Don't you want me?" I asked desperately,, gazing up at his pale face, my tears blurring his image.

His eyes narrowed, "No." his velvet voice echoed through the clearing. I could almost feel the coldness in his voice.

"Goodbye Bella." he said and then abruptly turned and ran off, leaving me alone and sobbing; my heart in pieces.

A few minutes later another voice came from behind me. "Well, well, well. Look who we have here…what happened Bella? Edward run off?" I gasped and turned around.

It was Victoria.

"What's wrong Bella?" she asked again, her face full of mock sympathy. I was paralyzed with fear, I couldn't answer her. Victoria's eyes glinted evilly. "I was going to destroy you in front of Edward, you know, mate for mate. But I happened to overhear everything Eddie said to you. So instead of killing you I'm going to turn you. So you can live eternity alone, like I have to."

She stalked toward me, her teeth glistening with venom. I was too frightened to move, it was like my legs had lost all feeling. I didn't move as she bent down toward my neck, he razor sharp teeth grazing my skin. I shivered at her touch and she laughed. "You smell lovely Bella."

"But you know what the worst part about this whole thing is?" she told me, dipping closer and closer to my neck. I whimpered in response, my heart beating faster and faster as I felt her teeth at my jugular.

"The pain and hurt NEVER go away." she growled right before sinking her teeth into my neck. I screamed out in pain. She released me and dropped my body on the ground. I began flailing around uselessly, crying out. It felt like a fire was burning me completely and I had no way of stopping it.

Suddenly I heard a female voice shout, "Oh my God! We have to help this poor girl! Anthony, Robert! Kill the other one!" And the last thing I saw was two male vampires jump onto Victoria, tearing her to pieces. Then I fell into darkness.

I could vaguely hear voices murmuring around me. I tried to call out to them but only screams came out.

"The poor girl. Anthony can't you do anything?" a girl's voice chimed. Suddenly I felt a little calmer, but the fire still burned. Finally after what seemed like forever. My heart beat its last and the fire vanished.

I opened my eyes and saw five vampires crowded around me gazing at me.. There were two males and three females. They were all beautiful, like them. The girl who I had heard ask Anthony to do something spoke up, "My name is Kimberly and this is my mate Anthony, Robert and his mate Courtney, and Leighton. What's your name?"

I followed her hand as she gestured toward each one of her coven members. Leighton had shiny curly chocolate brown hair, like mine. Robert had short cropped black hair. His mate, Courtney had honey blond waves. She was so pretty she put Rosalie to shame. They all did, even the guys. Anthony had short dark brown hair. And the girl who spoke, Kimberly, had exotic features and curly jet black hair. They all had golden eyes.

"I'm Bella, Bella Swan." I replied, still in shock. The thing I wanted most had happened to me, but the person I wanted to spend it with had left me.

Leighton smiled warmly, "You're a vampire now Bella."

I simply nodded, "I know."

Their mouths dropped open in shock. "How do you know about us?" Robert asked curiously.

So I explained to them everything. From meeting the Cullens to Edward leaving me. I winced every time I said his name. They all hissed when I mentioned what Edward had said before running off.

"That bastard!" Courtney growled. She came over to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder, "You deserve better than that Bella." The others nodded in agreement. "Don't worry Bella." Anthony piped up, "If we ever see him again we'll tear him to pieces for you." I smiled, "Thank you but its not necessary. He isn't worth it." "You're damn right!" Robert said. Kimberly laughed and looked at me, "Would you like to stay with us?" she asked generously. I nodded eagerly. They seemed like nice people. Leighton grinned, "We will never abandon you." The rest nodded their agreement.

And here we are now. 58 years later. Anthony and Robert were the best brothers a girl could ask for and Kimberly, Leighton, and Courtney were the best sisters ever. Even if they did love shopping. Something I didn't mind but preferred to avoid at all costs.

Leighton plopped down on the couch beside me and watched the two guys run around shouting. "They are so immature. Sometimes I can't believe that they're over 60 years old." I laughed in agreement. Leighton and I were like twins, we were so close we knew everything about each other. Suddenly Courtney's voice rang through the entire house, "LEIGHTON! WHERE ARE MY FLATS?" Leighton giggled, "Shhh!" and then she disappeared into thin air.

My entire family has powers. Leighton's is turning invisible. Anthony is an empath, Kimberly has telekinesis. Robert can read minds and Courtney is an illusionist. And I'm a shield. We're a pretty powerful family.

Courtney burst into the room, her eyes flaming with rage. She searched frantically around the room and then growled. "She's invisible again isn't she?" she looked at me., her eyes daring me to defend Leighton. I knew the consequences if I did. Last time she forced me to go shopping with her everyday for a month.

After glaring at me for a few more minutes Courtney closed her eyes and a sly smile spread across her face. Seconds later, Leighton reappeared, her eyes ablaze with fear. She looked at Courtney, horrified, "You didn't really burn all my Jimmy Choos did you?" I gazed at her in confusion then burst into laughter. Courtney had a smug look on her face. I knew she had conjured up an illusion of her burning all of Leighton's precious shoes.

"Well maybe now you'll learn not to mess with my flats." Courtney smiled evilly before turning and sauntering out of the room, smugness radiating from all over her body. After she left Leighton turned to me, dry sobbing. "Bella!" she moaned, covering her face with her hands, "What am I going to do without Jimmy?" I hid a smile as I wrapped my arms around her. "Leighton, you know it was just an illusion?" Immeadiately she brightened up. She pulled away from me, a huge smile on her face. "I knew it!" she crowed, "Now excuse me my dear Bella…I have a meeting with revenge…" she cackled evilly and skipped out of the room. I watched her go with a smile on my face. I heard a muffled shout and saw Robert on the ground with Anthony's arms wrapped around his neck. I giggled and shook my head at them. I loved my family.
