Power.

It called out to him, flowed in his veins, and when it left him, it made him want more.

He wanted to keep it all to himself, if only to become stronger, like his many companions.

When they finally left the Purgatorium, he still couldn’t bring himself to forget about it.

He was so lost in his thoughts that when Lymle came up to him, she startled him.

“…There’s something weird with you, kay?”

Once again, she proved herself to be disturbingly perceptive.

He couldn’t let her know. He couldn’t let anybody know.

He would have to change.
