Made of Legends
They became part of it unexpectedly. They were sucked in away from their comfortable lives. Now the Prophecy is starting to take ground, an undeclared war started and Trainers are being called to the Tournament of the Century. Relationships will forge, deceptions made, and a Champion crowned. If there is a Champion after this whole thing is over.

Bright stadium lights flickered on, blinding for a moment as her hazel eyes struggled to adjust to the sudden illumination. She held her arm over her eyes, blinking rapidly while walking towards the figure that was standing near the stone tablet in the middle of the stadium. A light sigh parted her lips; it seemed that she’d find him here every waking moment. Well, if they weren’t training or preparing.

“There’s only so many times that you could look at that Legend, Z.” She said, joining him on the grassy field. She rocked on her heels, her purple sneakers digging into the grass.

“This is where it all started. And…” his fingers brushed over the glass case protecting the ancient writing, “this is where it’s going to end.” He whispered, the letters glowing blue as his fingers hovered above them.

“A battle between Legendaries.” She added, glancing to the star studded sky above them, the stars visible despite the blinding lights. “The Trainers will start receiving their invitations tomorrow. I’m leaving with them.”

His hand paused and he glared at her sharply with beautiful emerald eyes. “Why? The Tournament will begin! How can you leave?”

“I need to find it. The Tournament will be for nothing if I don’t find it. You and Aaron already found your partners. If we’re going to fight off the worst Teams in the world, then I’ll need my partner.” She answered softly, refusing to meet his piercing gaze.

“What are we going to do when the Teams start showing up?” He muttered, finishing his reading. There was a long silence as they stood there before he spoke again. “Be careful, okay? We didn’t work this hard for nothing.”

“I’ve trained for this day.” She said, smiling. “I will be back, and I’ll find others.” She assured, turning on her heels. “Remember, practice with your partner. The first strike is always unexpected.” And she left him in the middle of the stadium, her smile fading away.

“And so begins the end.”

Mother (Charlotte)-passed away from disease when Alex was 12.

Pokémon:
Torchic-Combusken-Blaziken
Male/ Nickname: Blaze
Received when she was 10, Alex had to be escorted by her brother to Professor Birch, seeing as she would had done almost anything to get Torchic as her starter. He is extremely loyal and Alex and Blaze know each other like the back of their hands (er, claw?). Alex relies on Blaze to pull her out of tough spots. He is the last Pokémon she will use in any Gym Battle and he generally stays out of his Poke ball. Blaze can also usually tell what Alex is thinking and doesn't require her to say any instructions. Just a nod or a quick look in the eyes and he'll be off. He is the only one of Alex's Pokémon to do that.
Ability: Blaze- Ups Fire moves in a pinch
Nature: Brave
Moves: Flamethrower, Sky Uppercut, Blaze Kick, Double Team, Strength, Focus Punch, Double Kick, Quick Attack, and Blast Burn

Wurmple-Silcoon-Beautifly
Female/ Nickname: Beau
The first Pokémon that Alex caught (with Blaze’s help, of course~), Beau was relatively easy to level up into Beautifly. She is extremely spoiled and a little bit of a drama queen. She loves to be the center of attention and Alex uses her a lot for Contests. Don’t get her wrong though, Beau is every good a fighter as she is a Contest Pokémon. She just prefers one over the other. She’s a proud Pokémon and hates when she loses and tends to sulk for days if she does. Beau likes to stay out of her Poke ball as well.
Ability: Swarm- Ups Bug moves in a pinch
Nature: Sassy
Moves: Silver Wind, Bug Buzz, Morning Sun, String Shot, Protect, Gust, Giga Impact, Shadow Ball, and U-Turn

Ralts-Kirlia
Female/ Nickname: Kirls
On her way out of the Petalburg Gym (which she won, thank you very much), Alex encountered Ralts on the way to Oldale. It was highly mistrusting of humans and Alex received quite a few scars from Kirls. Thankfully, she got it to fall asleep and transported it to a Pokémon Center. Kirls has only one odd thing about her: she knows the move Shadow Claw, which a Kirlia can never learn; naturally or with a TM. Alex still has yet to discover how this came about, but until then, they try not to think about it. Kirls is basically the mother of the group, taking care of any and all of the team, whether it’s fetching bandages or a Potion here, an Antidote there, Kirls is like Alex’s little nurse. She ends up taking care of Chinchou the most though. Kirls is rather reclusive and shy, but loves Contests as well.
Ability: Synchronize- Makes your opponent suffer from the same status conditions when you are inflicted with the Poison, Paralyze or Burn condition.
Nature: Docile
Moves: Shadow Claw, Magical Leaf, Psychic, Confusion, Lucky Chant, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Attract, and Calm Mind

Aron-Larion-Aggron
Male/ Nickname: Aron
Alex just loved how adorable his name was in his first stage, which is why his name is still Aron as an Aggron…He was caught during a trip to Granite Cave. It had been a passion of Alex’s to catch an Aron after seeing the Champion, Steven, use an Aggron. After asking her father what Pokémon it was, she resolved to get one. Heck, she had to camp out in Granite Cave for quite a while until she finally found one. Aron and Beau became great friend instantly, which took Alex by surprise. Aron is the one in the group who really can’t stand to see anyone sad. He’s the one everyone is friends with and you can’t hate him, really. Aron and Beau are the ones that Alex uses for Double Battles; they are in perfect sync.
Ability: Rock Head- Prevents recoil damage from moves like Take Down or Double Edge
Nature: Bold
Moves: Metal Claw, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Double-Edge, Ice Beam, Hyper Beam, Dig, Flash Cannon, and Rock Smash

Roselia-Roserade
Female/ Nickname: Rose
Alex encountered Rose after having a chat with the Day Care Couple nearby, getting tips for her and for Izzy, as she was planning to visit there before heading to the Kanto region and before her 16th birthday. Rose is the loner of the group, choosing to distance herself from the others more than interact with the rest of Alex’s team. When the need comes, however, Rose will be fighting alongside her teammates. There are only a few that Rose gets along with: Chinchou and Kirls. She is on mutual relationships with the others. Rose evolved from a Roselia into Roserade when Alex was in the Sinnoh Region. Alex encountered an old friend who decided that she would get more use out of the Shiny Stone he had found. Rose doesn’t particularly care for either Contests or Battles, but Alex uses her in both.
Ability: Poison Point-When attacked with a Direct Hit, causes your opponent to be Poisoned with a 30% probability.
Nature: Quiet
Moves: Grass Whistle, Aromatherapy, Sweet Scent, Synthesis, Solar Beam, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Petal Dance, and Poison Jab.

Chinchou
Male/ Nickname: none.
Chinchou was the result of an Egg that Alex received as a 16th birthday gift from Izzy. He’s the youngest and most childish of the team. Chinchou is surprisingly strong, though, despite his childlike personality. He is very friendly and will walk up to random Trainers, Coordinators and Pokémon and start talking to them. Alex is pretty sure he thinks that everything is a game, as he likes to play Tag, Hide and Go Seek or, the one Alex hates most, Disappear for a while and give Alex unneeded stress. Chinchou will go to Kirls first if anything bad has happened (which Alex finds extremely adorable) and then to Alex. He doesn’t really seem to take Battles seriously, but looks can be deceiving as Chinchou is incredibly cunning when it comes to Battles…
Ability: Volt Absorb- Restores Pokémon’s HP when Pokémon is attacked by Electric- type attacks. Thunder Wave will also restore Hp as well.
Nature: Naïve
Moves: Bubble Beam, Discharge, Hydro Pump, Charge, Thunder, Charge Beam, Psybeam (it’s an Egg move), Surf, and Waterfall

Appearance: 5'5", black hair that falls to her chest; usually worn in a ponytail. She has hazel eyes and underneath her right eye is a small, almost invisible scar that she recieved as a child, resulting in a fear of Scyther and Scizor, but more prominently, Scizor. She is sort of skinny, with a lean build and weighs in at around 128 pounds.

Clothing: Messenger bag that carries all her essentials (food, blankets, first aid kit, Pokeballs). She has it slung across her chest and it's rather plain. Just a black bag. Alex wears jeans with a chain that holds all her Pokémon. Her tank top is black, yes it does get cold, and so she generally wears a gray jacket over it. Her sneakers are purple low cuts. Alex also has a watch in her left hand (you never know when you need the time). She also wears black fingerless gloves. If she’s reading something, Alex has to wear her glasses. They’re really simple glasses too, but more often than not, she forgets to wear them.

Personality: Alex, in a few words, is basically, easy-going. She relaxes a lot, tending to forget her main objective or objectives, depending on the day. Blaze usually has to remind her where she is and what she was aiming to do that day. Growing up in her family, Alex became a total bookworm and a Pokémon lover. She cares deeply for each Pokémon she catches, even if her regular team is set. She makes an effort to actually get to know them. Alex also loves to read, mostly about Pokémon myths and legends, which she got from her Mother. Alex tends to takes things day by day and she tackles challenges head on. She is usually exuberant about Contest and Gym Battles. Her goal, even if she forgets or is accidentally side-tracked, is to become an expert on Myths and to help her brother become the best Breeder ever.
What her parents are unaware of, but Izzy, Zeke and Aaron know all too well, is that Alex can be extremely cold when she feels like it. There are very few people who can bring that side of her out. It's usually people who say that Myths are Myths because their ancestors were crazy. It could also be people who try and hinder her goal of helping Izzy or call her crazy for trying to achieve the impossible. When Alex is cold, though, there are a variety of ways to melt her iciness. Just by offering her chocolate or by apologizing can you do so.

History: Born almost a decade after her older brother, Isaiah, Alex was usually very alone during her first few years of life. Her family had moved to the Hoenn region when the discovered she was going to be born. Isaiah was left behind in Johto with a close friend so that he could start his journey there. When Alex was 5, she and her parents began to frequent visits to Johto, trying to reconnect with Isaiah whenever they could. By the time she was 8, her brother had already decided to open up a Daycare and become a Breeder as well. This was when their relationship grew and developed, proving their age barrier null and void as Izzy and Alex became very close siblings.
A summer before she was to start her journey in Hoenn, Alex went to help Izzy at his Daycare/Breeding Center. She was taking care of a Ponyta that had been born recently when the attack happened. A wild Scizor had somehow made it to them, presumably from the woods near Izzy's place and attacked them. Thankfully, none of them were too hurt, but Alex received the scar under her right eye and it remains her blind spot to this day. She was also very emotionally scarred and panics whenever she meets or encounters a Scizor, becoming paralyzed for a few moments until someone or a Pokémon snaps her out of it.
Upon receiving her starter at the age of 10, Alex was more than happy to begin her journey. She had resolved to become a Top Coordinator, but after discovering her Torchic loved battling, went onto the Gym scene. That was, until she caught Beau. Then she couldn't decide, so opted for both. She's only taken on the Hoenn League and Elite Four, not really bothering with the other regions. She found out when she was around 15 and in Sinnoh that she'd rather help her brother become a better Breeder. A lucky chance encounter with Cynthia, the Champion of the Sinnoh Leauge sparked a fire for Myths and Legends within her that she couldn't douse.
It was a few weeks after her encounter with Cynthia did her life change drastically. Alex reunited with her old friends, Zeke and Aaron and found out they were part of an Organization; one that she would be part of. She was found to be compatible with one of the Pokémon they were researching and she was thrust into a different world, training vigilantly, even while on her journey. She left for a period of time, wrapping up whatever loose ends she needed to; throwing away her goals when she reached the age of 17.

Goals: Help Izzy become the best Breeder Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh has ever known and to visit all the sights famous for Legendaries (Cave of Origin, the Tin Tower, Snowpoint Temple and the like.) She also wants to be the go-to girl for any Myths and such in the Pokémon world. But her most recent one? Survive the Prophecy.
Accomplishments: Hm, collected all eight badges from the Hoenn Region as well as five Ribbons and competed in both the League and Grand Festival. Placed first in League (she was more than surprised) and top 4 in the Grand Festival. Also collected the four badges in the Orange Islands but forgot about the league there, so didn't compete...
Type of Trainer: None anymore. Her sole goal is to prevent the worst from happening. Maybe, if everything is right again, she’ll go back to being a Trainer/Coordinator.
