“We’re here because a certain someone gets to go home today...”

He was so excited! He wanted so badly to tell her to hurry up. He knew who that cake was for. He knew who was going to blow out that candle. It wasn’t going to be anyone else. He knew exactly who it would be...

“Albie!”

The small-ish crowd cheered and clapped and grinned while secretly envious of his accomplishment. Albie subconsciously knew that every single one of them must hate him at least a little bit, as they always did when someone who wasn’t them finally got to get out of that horribly white prison.

“And let’s hope that we never see him again!”

But Albie didn’t care. Why? Because he was leaving! He blew out the candle happily, hearing again the (secretly spiteful) cheers of the others. He would miss them, he thought. Diana and Hal and Steve and the others. But that thought was pushed to the back of his mind as he sang a little rap and did some moves. So happy!

“I’ll see ya’ll later alligators!”

Albie said, grinning even though he knew he would never see them again. He waltzed out of the room with his suitcase, waving dramatically to everyone he passed, even hugging that one blonde doctor that he hadn’t learned the name of.

“G’bye, peeps!”

Albie strode out the front door and almost danced to the bus stop. Oh, oh, oh! Maybe he could find House! He’d missed that guy. Yeah! He’d find out where House lived and go to see him. That would be awesome! He bet that House had missed him just as much as he had missed House. They’d been friends after all, right?

As the bus pulled up, Albie got on and grinned as he decided that, yes, he WOULD go find his best buddy.

He just had to figure out where he lived first.

Okay so, I watched the first, two-hour-long episode of season six of House, and thought Albie was cute, so I wrote this. It was an excellent episode, and I can't wait for the new episodes! *dances*

But yeah. My mind would not leave me alone, so I wrote this.
