It was a big shot. Really Big One.
Dean had undercover almost 3 months, and before that the investigation had taken more than one year to find a gap in the gang of Merchant of Venice.

The Merchant was smart, has rules and... loved the cliches.
He do not trust anyone, is not personally expected to attend. No photos, no records police (or another), a ghost in the collective unconscious.

The team had taken seriously their existence, after the name had begun to sound increasingly followed, in increasingly larger transactions, but they really taken seriously when the name no longer heard, and instead appeared only eyes full of terror and respect.

The Merchant had become something really big and dangerous. Nobody in the team really understood what it was until today, even Carter. And that could not be good. Not for Dean.
