Just a little thing that came to me when listening to the Irish Jig from FF:8.

This is set about 18 years after FF:8, everyone has kids and this is when they get promoted to seeDs.

Michelle Kinneas and Jake Leonhart held hands while walking into the party, Mark Almasy was with Janet Dincht. Squall, Rinoa and the rest of the gang stood proud, looking out at all the new seeDs.

Waltz for the Moon began to play as the children and their parents all danced. Irvine and Selphie slow danced, every turn Irvine switched between his wife and daughter who's date found it amusing to see how loose Michelle's dad was.

He looked back at his dad and smiled at his attempt to have a good dance, Squall was still a little clumsy like the first night he and Rinoa met. Every now and then he'd step on her toes, then she'd correct him and it would happen again.

Mark danced only with Janet as Zell was with his wife at a table not too far away, they'd never been much for slow dancing. Zell always enjoyed the fast songs.

When the song ended everyone kissed as fireworks filled the night sky, exploding in night sky like an explosion of stars overflowing into the night sky only to disappear.

Selphie smiled and nudged Irvine who quietly followed him, Zell and Quistis followed.

"Where are our parents going?" Janet asked the others who simply shrugged. Only to find out the answer when Irvine, Selphie, Quistis and Zell stood on a stage holding instruments.

Quistis smiled as she spoke, "This is for all the new seeDs and also for Squall and Rinoa... happy anniversary guys."

"Okay, a one, two, three." Selphie said as Quistis started to tap dance, Mark looked on in shock at his mother tap dancing, as Zell began to play the guitar. Irvine quickly followed, playing the violin as Selphie began playing the flute.

Their children watched in amazement at their parents, "They never told us they could do that!" Mark exclaimed as Seifer approached his son. "There are things kids don't know about their parents." he said simply.

Squall and Rinoa kissed each other before leading the seeDs in an Irish dance.

I know it was a little weird, but I just got the idea.... I love this part of the game when they're playing the Irish Jig. And yes I made the seeDs party Squall and Rinoa's anniversary because it's the first night they meet each other.
