Chapter 1

(Camera shows Gura, Ving-Ving, and Tyler in Gura's room at nighttime wearing their pajamas. Gura's wearing a blanket sleeper-type pj's that's white with light-blue shirukens all over, Ving-Ving is wearing a plain black pajama shirt and shorts, and Tyler is wearing pajam shirt and shorts that are red with white baseballs all over. Gura is laying on his stomach half-way fully in his futon while his 2 friends were doing the same with their sleeping bags.)

Tyler: wow, Gura, it's really cool your brother's letting us sleepover with ya tonight.

Gura: thanks, but really it was Garu's idea to start with, he said I've been focusing too much on training lately, so he said I should start having a good time with some friends. Not to mention Holloween is only a week away, and my big brother and I could use abit of help decorating the place for when it comes.

Ving-Ving: oh yeah! eat, drink, and be, errr, sleepoverly, for tomarrow, we carve us some Jack-O-Lanterns!

Tyler: you got that right! I know what I'm gonna be for Halloween; a space ninja*!

(*Noodle of the Stars reference, anyone?)

Ving-Ving: I wanted at first to go as a vampire, but my mom says I've been going as a vampire every year, so I'm wondering what else I can go as, maybe a giant cockroach! what 'bout you, Gura? what are you gonna be?

Gura: good question, well, Pucca suggested I go as a Panda, she says I'd look real cute as one.

(nothing but dead silence is heard, then both Tyler and Ving-Ving laugh like crazy for several seconds. after about 25 seconds, Tyler and Ving-Ving calm themselves down.)

Tyler: oh, Gura, Gura, don't know a thing about Halloween?

Ving-Ving: yeah, the thing about is you're supposed to dress up for trick-or-treating in Halloween as something that's either scary or cool!

Tyler: yeah! like say, a Mummy, or a Warewolf, or...

Ving-Ving: or Mr. Youkai!

Gura and Tyler: (bothi in unison) Mr. Youkai?

Ving-Ving: yep! I heard some of kids at school talk about him, he's said to be the boogeyman of Sooga Village. hold on, let me get the right vibe before I keep talk. (Ving-Ving claps his hands and the light in Gura's room turns off. Ving-Ving then takes a flashlight and shines it under his face.) okay, it's said that Mr. Youkai's a sinister entity who supossingly enjoys kidnaping small children for doing 'naughty' stuff or whatever it is that drives him to do so. it's said he used to be a prince from somewhere until he tampered with the use of magic created from a anoter dimension. he then left his kingdom and comes and goes as he pleases. one of the kids told me that this 4-year-old named Ron was staying up late watching something on TV when he wasn't supposed to but his parents never noticed. When the time came he did go to bed, he was worried about some boogeyman that would come and scare him. by the time he slept it off, that's when Mr. Youkai showed up! Ron suddenly woke up, saw him, then screamed in terror like never before. That's when Mr. Youkai grabbed Ron and wisked him away somewhere, his friends and family never saw him ever again!

(Suddenly, the clapping of hands was heard, the lights turned back on to see Tyler and Gura hugging each other and shivering in fright, and Garu now being in the room. both Gura and Tyler sigh in relief when they see Garu and then let go of each other.)

Garu: (looks at Ving-Ving) I take it you were telling a scary story here, am I right?

Ving-Ving: definately, Garu, ever heard of Mr. Youkai?

Garu: sure, some boogeyman that's around here, right?

Ving-Ving: you know him already?

Garu: this Mr. Youkai rumor is lately all small kids have been talking about for some reason.

Ving-Ving: oh course kids are talkin' about him! he's been kidnapping kids!

Garu: Ving-Ving, have you even seen this Mr. Youkai?

Ving-Ving: of course I haven't! that's why I'm lucky he didn't catch me.

Gura: You don't believe there's really a Mr. Youkai, do you, Garu?

Garu: I'll believe he exists when I see him.

Ving-Ving: but what if he tries to kidnap you like he does with kids? he could want teenagers as well!

Garu: I don't mean to brag but... (pulls out his sword slightly) I think I can take this Mr. Youkai whoever he is. (steathes his sword back.)

Tyler: yeah, now that I think about it, why should we worry about some boogeyman? (throws some punches) we got martial arts skills to get us out of those binds!

Garu: that's kinda what martial arts are for; to help you avoid getting into this sort of problems. kidnapping is one of them.

Ving-Ving: well, I never heard anyone state they might beat up a boogeyman. most only say they don't exist or are worried that the said boogeyman would grab a person and wisk him or her away. but I guess you're right, Garu, what's the worst that Mr. Youkai can do?

Garu: well, best start going to bed now, remember, we got halloween decorating to do in the morning. well, good night!

Ving-Ving, Tyler, and Gura: (all in unison) good night, Garu!

(Garu claps his hands, the lights turn off, and Garu exits the room. as Ving-Ving, Gura, and Tyler crawl into their sleeping bags, or in Gura's case, his futon. the 3 of them drift into sleep, only to seconds later wake up and find themselves each caught in rather large nets.)

Gura : what the?!

(suddenly, a strange figure appears, it was a humanoid-shaped figure who appears faceless and pretty much is just a humanoid figure that's white with black stripes.)

strange figure: (speaking in an eerie ghostly voice) I am Mr. Youkai! prepare for what awaits!

Gura: GARU! HELP!

(Garu immediately dashes into the room and sees what's happening, ...while wearing his pajamas as well and while holding his sword. Mr. Youkai is startled by Garu's sudden appearance, but changes to a stance that suggests satisfactory.)

Mr. Youkai: well lookee here, more fresh meat! abit older than what I'm going for, but you'll do.

(Mr. Youkai elastically extends his fingers and swings them at Garu. but Garu swings his sword and slices off the fingers. Mr. Youkai cries out in pain briefly, only for his fingers to grow back to normal length.)

Mr. Youkai: you're tougher than I thought, but you just lose anyhow!

(Garu raises an eyebrow in confusion. Mr. Youkai raises his hands for some reason. then a sphere-shaped metal cage suddenly appears with Garu inside it. Garu in response tries to cut the cage but his sword had no affect.)

Mr. Youkai: haha! the 4 of you are now my prisoners!

(A dark portal opens, Mr. Youkai grabs the 3 nets he put the 3 children in and grabs the sphere-cage Garu's trapped in. He then brings the 4 with him into the dark portal. The dark portal closes.)

(Author's note: oooh! trippy! like my Pucca halloween special so far? well, where did Mr. Youkai take our 4 heroes? what's he gonna do with them? will I update? well, review me quickly and I will!)
