There are so few things in life that are necessary. There are perhaps things that a person ought to do with his time and a manner in which he ought to behave but good behavior and a good work ethic are hardly necessities in life. Most tasks in this world are ultimately optional. It is true that there are a great many things that one should do and not much that one must do. This is the tale of the one evil aspect of life that affects people everywhere and forces them to adhere to it, the evil that is not an optional part of human existence but a necessary one.
