Klavier looked up towards the sky. He saw the full moon shining brightly on the trees surrounding him. Here he sat on a grassy hill in the middle of a forest. Of course he wasn't alone here. He had two companions.
The first one was his acoustic guitar Robo. Its wooden frame was given a slight blue tinge due to the silvery light of the moon.
The second guest sat opposite him. A girl with light pink hair and a buttoned top that showed slight cleavage was gazing at Klavier admiringly. Klavier's thoughts turned to their initial meeting.
It was at a bar a few months back. Though he wasn't a heavy drinker, he decided to celebrate after sending an obviously guilty killer to jail. So he simply went to the nearby tavern. As he sat down at the bar and ordered his drink he simply noticed her sitting a few seats down from. She caught his eye and with a few words Klavier was able to receive her phone number, and the rest was history.
Klavier grabbed his guitar and began to tune it. His thoughts went to his current problem.
Klavier had enjoyed his time with April during the last few months. She had a flirty personality that made their dates fun. Did physical attraction play a part in the relationship? Well yes it did, but if that was the only part then it would have ended long ago. However they both seemed to have a fun loving side that was the fuel of their relationship. Between basic teasing and flirting, they both had an appetite for fun, which made each of their dates interesting. Besides that, April had never had a truly romantic boyfriend. This was where Klavier truly had shown his worth to her. He considered it a challenge to make each date surpass the last. He had found new ways to take her breath away, and every time he heard her gasp or squeal it was like a new kind of music to his ears. Seeing her so happy made him happy in return.
Klavier strummed his guitar once to test the sound.
However there was a problem. He had found out something that ate at his heart. Every time he met her, he felt a growing despair that she might have found out. Klavier had learned within the first week of dating her, that she despised nothing more than lawyers. Quite unfortunately, having disbanded the Gavineers, Klavier was exactly that, a prosecutor.
Klavier's hands went to their appropriate place on the guitar.
He had managed to keep it a secret thus far. However, it still troubled him. While the conversation had yet to turn to his career, he knew with each passing date that she would eventually inquire about what it was that he did for a living. He still wasn't sure how he would respond if that would happen. He couldn't lie to her, he was an honest man. But he couldn't tell her the truth either. Doing that would almost certainly end the relationship. It was the only thing that had ever managed to terrify Klavier.
Klavier began playing. The sound of his guitar echoed through the forest.
For now he would have to hope for the best. He would enjoy the relationship as long as he could and pray that when the question arose, he would have an answer for her. Until then it would remain his secret.
