Chapter Five: A Knights Honor

Jordan sat there watching the young girl sleep, thinking over what his caption had said on the trip here.

Do I love her? Why do I feel so protective over her? Like if any man touch’s her, I’d kill them!

Jordan shook his head trying to pry the thoughts out of his mind, when her heard a soft moan coming from the sleeping angel. This made him turn his gaze upon her, another moan and she opened her eyes.

“Where am I?” She asked in a calm, yet slightly drozy, manor. Propping her self up on her elbows while she spoke.

“ You are in my room.” He answered simply.

“You are the knight that was kind to me.” she said staring at him.

“Yes.”

She gave a smile that could melt the coldest of hearts, to him and wrapped her arms around him.

“Thank you,” She whispered in his ear.

His eyes were wide and his breath hitched.

“Y-your welcome.” He finally stuttered out.

Then there was the sound of the door hitting the wood on the wall. Both looked up to see Kross standing there with a rather annoyed expression on his face.

“What do you think you are doing!” He yelled at the two. But both were to stunned to speak. Before Jordan broke the silence.

“Nothing sir, she just woke up, and thanked me for helping her.”

Kross walked up to Eva and put his hand to her cheek, brunching some of the stray hairs out of her face.

“Is that true, my angel?” He suducefully in her ear. “ Y-yes sir.” She said shuddering.

“Very good, we need you to clean the house for us.” The man demanded her.

“I am not your maid!” She shouted.

Kross turned around and glared at her harshly, she was scared, yes but would show none, this he knew. But it only edged him on.

He snatched her chin in his fingers and pulled her more towards him.

“If you don’t want to clean, perhaps I can find a better job for you.” He said looking her body over.

“Fine I’ll clean.” she growled through clenched teeth.

“Good girl,” he hissed as he walked out the door.

“Eva are you okay?” Jordan asked once they were alone.

She got off the bed and bowed to the knight. “Thank you for helping me knight.” Then she left the him sitting there alone.
