Dear lovely readers:
I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words you left in reviews for this little story. I wrote it because it was one of the strongest things in my heart, and I needed an outlet. I didn't think anybody would read it. Maybe one of two strangers. And that's what gave me the courage to go ahead and write it out, to go ahead and put it out there and see if anybody liked the way I wrote.
I am overwhelmed by your response! With each new favorite or new review, I felt so giddy. However, I also felt so panicked. This story was intensely personal. It was too much for me to know it was out there, on the internet, for anyone to find. If you ever hear of this story somewhere out there on someone's database or whatever, please make that go away, or PM me about it. I don't know what to do about those sorts of things, but I have an inkling that it has already happened :(
This is kind of a sub-sub-sub-reason, but I am also working on a non-fic novel, which has absolutely nothing to do with this story. Except a few times here and there I just wanted to rip off a turn of phrase or a word choice I had used in The Work Boyfriend and felt weird about it, like it wasn't mine to actually borrow from, and that kind of sucked.
So it is with a heavy heart that I had to pull the story. I'm so sorry to any of you who were currently mid-read. PM me and we'll talk.
Thank you times a million for turning me into a writer.
