“What the hell, Dean?” Sam yelled at his brother. “You were supposed to be here an hour ago!”

“Got a little caught up in things back at the bar,” Dean replied, a slight slur in his voice.

“Got a little caught up?” Sam repeated, pacing, his anger showing even more. “What? Needed another lap dance from the waitress?”

“Actually, I did,” Dean replied. “Her husband didn’t think so, though,” he added as he dropped heavily to his knees, bending in such a way that Sam was finally able to see the knife sticking out of his side.

“Oh, shit, Dean!”
