This is my first Yi San fanfic. So naturally I'm very excited….Sakura-chan I expect your comment on my work.
The couple is Lee San(King Jeong Jo) and Song Yeon.
He , the King, went all the way to Kyoha just to get Song Yeon back. So how could she doubt his feelings for her. He asked her to be with him, to let him be the man in her life. And he knew that he was selfish, but he could not bear the palace life with no Song Yeon in it.
Then she came to him, offering her heart under the cherry tree, the pink petals falling around them. He felt tears coming to his eyes, and she was crying too, so he hugged her, pressing her body to his, thinking that now there was nothing standing in his way anymore. He could finally be with her.
He took her to the palace and spent the night with her talking about the future. In his mind it was already set, she was going to become his royal concubine, no matter what. He'd shake the foundations of his dynasty if he had to, but she was going to be with him.
And after came the day when she was officially named royal concubine. That night he could not hold himself back, taking everything she offered. His only regret was the unavoidable pain he caused her when he made her his. But it turned out okay in the end.
The weeks to come would find them together talking or simply being with each other. The thing he loved the most about her was her smile, it was so heart lightening and it brought his own smile forward. It must have been obvious because whenever he was troubled it was her he sought. She was the only one that could be of comfort to him. He also had to thank the Queen, his wife, whom he loved as a friend, for standing by him, always supporting and helpful. She was indeed a great Queen.
Then his Song Yeon gave birth to a baby boy, whom they named Mun-hyo. He became the crown prince. Lee San was so happy when he got to hold his son. He had stayed with the child and Song Yeon the whole day, seeing as the prince had been born in the morning. Life took its natural course as he took care of matters of state and watched his son grow up. Song Yeon was with him the whole time, always offering a warm smile.
He could never give her enough to thank her, this woman who held his heart in her delicate hands.
He also loved watching her paint, sometimes even painting with her; he liked the way she let the colours flow creating a painting that they would later hang in her apartments.
Their son seemed to take after his mother as they often found him in a secluded pavilion, paint splattered on his hands and a work of his own on the wooden floor.
The King prayed that she would stay with him until his last breath was drawn from his chest. He could only hope that it would be so.
I kind of didn't like the fact that their son died at an early age so here he gets to live.
Hope you enjoyed reading this as I've enjoyed writing it for your eyes and mind to decipher.
