A/N: Yes, I am alive. Haha. I probably won't write here again until after Christmas. As always, reviews are welcomed and appreciated.
It had been a long day. And finally, Tony was home. It was Christmas Eve, but it didn't really feel like it. He was alone in his house, watching Christmas specials with a beer in his hand. He did have a Christmas tree. And what a sad looking one it was. It was only scarcely decorated, a few ornaments here and there, no lights. It didn't have any presents under it either, considering he lived alone. It was going to be a lonely Christmas again.
There was a tap on his door. At first he thought that he had imagined it, but then, it happened again. He peeled himself off his couch to answer the door. He expected his landlord to be there, or someone he didn't want to see. Instead, Ziva was standing there. She pushed her way past him into his apartment, and looked around. She raised her eyebrows before setting a present under his tree. He didn't say anything, he just stared at her in amazement. He couldn't believe she was here. She turned back to him. "I know we said no presents, but after I saw what you did today, I wanted to do something for you." He grinned.
"Hold on one sec." He said, and ran to his bedroom. He knew it was there somewhere. He searched through his room, until he found it. Jogging back out to the livingroom, gift in hand, he said, "Here you go. Happy Hanukkah." Ziva looked surprised, but grabbed the present nevertheless.
"You're welcome." They just stared at each other for a few minutes, when he just blurted out, "I have nothing to do tomorrow, so I was wondering if you want to celebrate the holidays with me." He waited for her response.
'Tony, the whole team is "hanging" out tomorrow."
"But I'll come pick you up in morning. We can open our presents to one another."
"See you tomorrow."
A/N: Yes it's cheesy, but hey, it's Christmas! Please review, and Happy Holidays
