In English, we were doing gazels (a poem consisting of five or six two-line stanzas that describe a series of images) and my teacher let me do mine on this Harry Potter bookmark I have. The picture used was the one where Harry is poring over his textbook and mixing together a potion while Snape :sighs dreamily: is glaring over his shoulder. Enjoy!

Potions Lesson

Iridescent fumes hover and

haunt the dungeon dank.

Cauldrons simmer, shimmer,

glimmer malevolently.

Eyes dart to and fro, to and fro

across the page as sweat trickles forth.

Sour scowls and bitter eyes of the harsh

Potion Master smolder at them.

An explosion resounds and a potion spews

as another Longbottom concoction goes to seed.
