The doors barge open as Arthur Pendragon storms through. Merlin rushes towards his king.

"Oh thank the gods your alright!" he cups Arthur's cheeks with delicate hands leaning to kiss passionately quick.

"I've missed you." His voice echos through the room. Strong arms wrap around his young lover's slender waist.

"You could have been killed!" Merlin whispered harshly,holding the weary king close.

"I'm here that's all that matters." Arthur tightens his hold in reassurance that it's all not a dream.

He carries his raven haired boy to their bed gently laying him down before joining him.

Merlin gives the no ... his king a warm hearted smile, wrapping his arms around the elder man neck. They stayed like that for a while letting the silence put them to sleep
