Those predatory eyes still haunt me now.
He was the tiger, I the antelope.
It's strange. I knew what was about to
happen yet I still filled my heart with hope
that it would. He is full of surprises.
A man with many faces. Yet his eyes
always were the same. Always a bold blue,
like the ocean deep, or clear sunny skies.
I got lost in those eyes many to time,
and tried to decipher the secrets they
hid. However sometimes they were blank.
Unreadable. Masked. Then I left him be,
'til he would share again. And share he did,
with one gentle and incredible kiss.
