Chase started his first day at Princeton Plainsboro feeling confident, despite the first impressions he had of his new boss.

This all changed by the end of the day, as he stood waiting by the elevator.

This was when he noticed the man standing nearby; his brown hair falling just over his forehead, his collar and tie fitting snugly to his neck.

The man looked at him, and having been caught staring, Chase felt suddenly compelled to extend his hand in greeting. The other man took his hand, introducing himself with a smile, and warm, kind eyes.

This was… inconvenient.
