Secrets from the Past.

Jesse and Shelby have always been the mother/son dynamic duo. But when secrets start to come out nothing will never be the same.

In Shelby's office:

"I know your secret." whispered Jesse while he stood behind Shelby. "What?" "What secret, who told you?" replied Shelby as she turned around in a shocked way. "Relax, I was only joking, unless of course you want to tell me this secret." "No, I am fine with keeping my secrets to myself." said Shelby as she out her files away. "You know we tell each other everything, SPILL!" "Oh, like the time you told me that you were going to have sex in my new living room? Like I said, im fine keeping my secrets to myself. "Mom, that's not the point." said Jesse. 'Don't call me that, some one might hear you." Said Shelby shushing Jesse. "Now enough about that subject, I need you to be on your game for regionals. "Oh please, I can do that routine, blind folded in my sleep while on my hand and still have the best show face." exclaimed Jesse while sounding cocky like always. "That may be true." Started Shelby "May be true, it is true." Interrupted Jesse. "I just don't want you to risk anything for me…and the group." Stated Shelby. "You know, you worry too much." "I know, what moms are for." And with that Jesse and Shelby left her office and headed home.

GLEE!

At Rachel's house:

Rachel decided one day to please her dad; she would clean up his office for him so that when he got home he could get right in his cases (Leroy is a lawyer). She was finishing up her last touches putting all of the papers away when she opened the wrong draw and saw it. "Adoption papers." whispered Rachel to herself. "This can't be I wasn't adopted. Was I? Rachel stood there in shock looking through the file she still couldn't believe what was happening. All this time she thought she was born out of love, but yet she was basically a mistake. She sat down at the kitchen table waiting for her dads to come home (which was in about 5 minutes, they came home at the same time everyday) with tears in her eyes. "Rachel, were home." exclaimed Leeroy as they both walked in together. "What do you want for din- Oh my goodness Rachel what happened?" asked Hiram. But Rachel didn't answer she just looked down at the file that was resting on the table. "Is it true?" asked Rachel in a whispered voice. "Oh honey" started Leeroy but was cut off by Rachel yelling "IS IT TRUE!" "Yes honey it is, but we never wanted you to find out this way." explained Hiram. "Were you even going to tell me?" "Well we thought about it, but we never thought that it would ever come up." explained Leroy "Did she even want me?" "We- we don't know, we've only met her once." "All this time I thought I was something special." "Sweet heart you still are, you always have been, and always will be. Nothing will ever change that." said Hiram. "Rachel we could talk about this over dinner." pleaded Leroy. "No, I seem to have lost my appetite. I'll se you guys in the morning." "Okay good night, Rachel we still love you no matter what." said Leeroy. "And we never meant to hurt you." added Hiram. "I know, I just wish you would have told me."
