I do not own any Inheritance Cycle characters or other things.

Eragon is known by many names. Among them is "The Last Free Rider". This is Eragon's thoughts on the title. Please read and review, this is my first poem. WARNING: NOT! a rhymy poem.

"Eargon, the Last Free Rider"…

I am not free.

Only not under Galbatorix's rule. Not free.

Freedom is means that I can choose the path, that I owe my loyalty to nothing and no one.

I am not free.

My freedom has been taking from me,

By the Varden and the dwarves.

I am not free.

I chose this path. I chose to not be free,

And I stand by my descision.

But I am not free.

I am proud to be on the side that I am on,

And Brom had warned me that I would not be able to not choose a side.

But I am not free.

I have more freedom than I normally would, if I were to join Galbatorix,

But I have my limitations.

I am not free.

I am with those I care for, as they do for me.

And thus, they want to know where I am or where I am going.

I am not free.

But I would not be free with Galbatorix, far from it.

I would be trapped and Alagaisa would never become free.

But I am not free.

Perhaps I am not free, but I am the last Rider who can free the people.

I am the Last Rider who can save the people. And without the support of the Varden, I would never be able to accomplish that.

But I am not free.

But maybe, that's a very good thing.
