My Darker Moments

In my darker moments, I don't like her very much.

I'm trying to get over that. Padmé Amidala is a sincere and honorable gentlebeing. She's courageous. Determined. Incorruptible. I admire her, and I know I really ought to like her.

But then she reaches up and touches your cheek and I don't need to see you smile because I can feel the change in your heart. And I think, That should really be me.

In my darker moments, I think I've earned it.

In my darker moments, I rage and I scream inside and I cry that it's not fair.
