AN:I was so suprised as how the season finale was. I can't believe we still don't know who the father of Candy's baby but I think we all know who the father of Christina's baby is. I want Ray to be the father of Candy's baby even if he isn't I think if they get together he would be the perfect father figure for the baby so Candy wouldn't have to raise that baby all alone. Can you guys believe how Christina and Tom just made out and then she goes I'm pregnant. I really can't believe that they didn't show us anything about Candy after she got sent away in the ambulance with Ray. See I'm sure that he loves her did you guys see the look on his face when he saw Candy on the gurney? He looked so helpless and then he showed how much he loved her in that episode. I loved it but then I thought it could've been better. Well anyways here's the next chapter...

At Ray's house

Candy awoke to someone's arm around her. She looked up and it was Ray. She smiled and pretended to go back to sleep. She loved how good it felt to be in his arms. It was te best sleep she's really ever had. Secretly she's always loved him. She's just loved him trying his hardest to be with her. Everytime he tried it just made her love him more. She was just scared if she did get with him he might have another "mistake" with Marshall again. She had a feeling she's never felt toward anyone else. Was it jealousy or love or both?

She noticed he started to move. He felt someone on his chest and found Candy. He thought it was all a dream. He felt so good. He's never slept this good. He looked over at the clock and saw that it was seven. He had so much he wanted to tell her, do with her but it could wait because he wasn't sure how to tell her and where so he would attempt this again but he would need some help. They both drifted back off to sleep.

They both awoke around two hours later. Candy got off of Ray's chest blushing at their odd proximity. He saw how embarrassed she was and smiled to himself. The truth was Candy didn't want to get out of the embrace. She honestly wished that she could stay there all day and never get up but then she reminded herself that they weren't together and they couldn't be just friends in that proximity.

She did want to be with him but there was a part of her that was scared to be with him. She was scared that if they broke up that it would ruin their working relationship and it would make everything awkward. She had to admit she loved every little thing about him. His eyes, his muscular chest, the strong arms that she felt so safe in, his attempts at trying to be with her, how funny he was, and most definitely his big heart. She wished her heart could be as open as his one day.

At Candy's house

The girls had all woken up at around 9. They come to realize that Candy still was gone. They actually didn't find it suprising.

"Candy must have had some major fun last night." Kathryn remarked after they didn't see Candy in the house.

"Oh yeah I bet Ray got lucky last night." Vanessa smirked at her comment.

"Most likely." Kathryn and Chanelle said at the same time.

"We'll find out later then." they all smiled at this.

At Ray's house

Candy was waiting on Ray to finish brushing his teeth so he would drop her off back home even though she would love to just stay here all the time.

"You ready?" he asked her grabbing his car keys.

"Yeah." she said. They walked out of the house and into the car. The ride was in a comfortable silence. Finally they approached Candy's house.

"Thanks Ray I had fun last night." she stated with a smile before opening her door.

"You're welcome. Anytime." he told her as she got out.

"Candy wait!" he shouted nervously.

"What?" she turned back around.

"Thanks for coming. Do you want to go out again next time we have a chance?" he asked dreading her answer.

"Sure I'd love to." she smiled shutting the door. He smiled and waved as he drove away trying to think of the perfect thing to do with her the next time. He had a great idea as what to do next.
