Prologue

Why was my mom making us do this? How does she think Molly and I can live there, go to school, and farm for a living? Why was she doing this to us? I'm only seventeen and going into eleventh grade. Molly's going into twelfth grade, but still. Why?

Those were just some of the few thoughts in my head as Molly and I were sailing on a boat towards Sunny Island. I look in the distance and see an island where our new home is. It looks rather small.

"Chelsea, we're almost there get your things together." Said Molly.

She leaves the room and I bend done to get my two red suitcases. Red is my favorite color. I look at myself in the mirror. My red bandana is in place. I look over my clothes; I'm wearing my yellow tank top under my orange jacket. I'm also wearing my jean shorts and red and yellow boots.

I walk out on deck to where Molly is standing. She looked so pretty with her brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing her Half Coat outfit. Her suitcases matched her outfit. Why did she pick brown suitcases in the first place? Weird.

We then dock and I see a old man and three people with reddish-pinkish hair. I walk off the ship with Molly.

"Welcome, I'm Taro and this is Felicia, my daughter and her children Elliot and Natalie." Said the old man named Taro.

"Nice to meet you, you must be Molly and Chelsea." Said Felicia.

"It's nice to meet you too." Molly and I said, even though I really didn't want to be there.

"I'll show you your home." Said Taro and we started walking after him. We walked for about twenty minutes until we reached the farm. It was a little shack with a red roof. We walk into and I see a small kitchen with two beds. I walk over to the one with the red bedspread and set my suitcases down. There's a door that leads to a bathroom. Molly has a bed with a mahogany colored bedspread.

"Gannon can upgrade your house if you give him the desired amount of money and materials." Said Taro. "Now if you'll come with me I'll show you where the school is."

We follow him until we reach a fairly decent school.

"There are quite a few kids that go to the school, but you'll feel right at home. School is on Monday through Friday. School hours are 7:30-2:00 every day. Also there's a shipping bin by your house. Everything that is put in it will be shipped and sold at five pm. Do I need to show you how to use your tools?" said Taro.

"No thanks." We said.

We then walked around the island. We came across a little shop and went in. Inside we met Chen and Charlie. Then we went into a carpentry shop. There we met Gannon and Eliza. Gannon is a very large man; he scares me a little bit.

Then we walked to the beach and met a guy named Denny. Then we walked to East Town and met Regis, Sabrina, Pierre, Lanna and Mark. They were all pretty nice.

Lastly we walked back to West Town and walked into an animal shop.

"Hello, I'm Chelsea and this is Molly." I said.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Mirabelle and this is Julia." Said the woman called Mirabelle.

"It's nice to meet you too." I say. Then a guy walks into the room. He has silver hair and is dressed like a cowboy.

"And this is Vaughn." Says Mirabelle. He looks in my direction and pulls down his hat to cover his eyes and leaves the room. Wow, he sure was cute, but why was he so rude?

"Well, we should get going, it's getting late and there's school tomorrow." Said Molly.

School! I completely forgot.

"Bye." I said.

We then leave.

"Mark is so cute." Says Molly. I nod even though I don't think so.

We walk towards our farm. I wonder if Vaughn's in any of my classes? We reach the farm and I go to my suitcases and unpack my clothes and put them into my dresser. I then grab my pink tank top and pink plaid pants that Luna gave me for my birthday last year and walk into the bathroom and take a shower. I then get dressed and walk out of the bathroom and set the alarm clock.

"Goodnight Molly." I say.

"Goodnight." she says in response.

I get under my covers and fall asleep thinking maybe this won't be such a bad place after all.
