Shattered Souls: Prologue

My life is fucked up. I've always been a screw up. I just had to be born didn't I? I'm a freak. That's just the way it's always been. People always ask why I am so quiet and withdrawn. The people from my past know that I haven't always been like this. The truth is it's all because of my baby sister. She took my heart and served it to me on a silver platter. She told me she loved me, she said it would be us forever; it always used to be me and her.

Flash back...

"Hey big sister, can I ask you something?"

"Of course you can and you already did."

"Would you be mad at me ifItoldyouiwasgay?"

"I didn't quite catch that Ui. Could you please repeat it?"

"I said would you be mad if I told you that I was gay?"

"I'd be fine with it baby sis"

"What if I told you I was in love?"

"I'd tell you to be careful"

"What if I told you that the person I'm in love with was you?" Ui said in a whispered voice

"I'd honestly be the luckiest person on the face of this earth."

From that moment I was always happy. More so the usual. Until that one faithful day where my world shattered around me

9 months later…

"Ui, I'm home." Called Yui

She dropped her things off and headed for the stairs to look for her lover. She suddenly heard her beloved moaning the name of another and tore down the door that separated her from her beloved. She stood there shocked by what she was seeing.

On her own bed was her beloved in the arms of another in the middle of throes of passion. Yui could only watch as Jun touched the places that were only meant for her. It tore Yui's heart to hear her beloved baby sister scream the name of another. The two on the bed hadn't noticed Yui's presence until after they had come down from their high.

Yui took off running. She grabbed Gitah and ran out into to the pitch black darkness.
