AN: This is just a little one shot I thought of while on the bus into town, thinking about making it into an actual story; not just a one – shot. Let me know if I should or not :)
Disclaimer: As much as I wish Prison Break was mine, I'm afraid it's not :/ All right go to the rightful owners...Lucky so and so'...
Summary: Lincoln and Michael have successfully escaped from Fox River along with the others, along with a girl. Evelyn Matthews, Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield are still on the run, but what will happen when a matter of the heart comes to light? Lincoln/OC. Again, suck – ish summary.
Lincolns POV:
Finally, we were free. Well, if you call being out of prison but on the run free then sure why not? We stayed at an apartment that Nika had set up for us for when we were out of that place. I can't believe Michael pulled it off; of course I had complete faith in him. He was my brother, my amazingly smart and clever brother. No, smart and clever didn't even cover it. There was a small laugh from behind me.
"What are you doing?" It was Evie; she should be sleeping, getting her rest. Not being up at 4 in the morning like I was; the sun was just starting to rise. I turned around to face her, and laughed myself. She just stood there, proud as can be with a glass of milk and an oversized tee shirt on. No one could deny it, she was beautiful. Her thick, long, curly brown hair bounced as she ran over to sit next to me. Compared to me she was small, almost pixie like.
"So, what are you doing?" She smiled at me. She was only 23, two years younger than Michael; 4 years younger than me. What was I doing? Sitting watching the sun rise? You could say that I guess.
"Nothing really, just thinking." I smiled back at her; it was like she was contagious.
"Ohh right...Mind if I sit and think here too? It looks like a good thinking spot." You could tell she was dying to laugh, but tried not to. Probably not to wake Michael. Her eyes were locked forward, on the scene before us. Deep blue eyes, like the ocean searching for something that wasn't there.
"No I don't mind. And what are you doing up so early young lady?" I half joked, because no matter how much I didn't like it, she was young compared to me right?
"I'll have you know, I'm not that much younger than you. Only four years, that's not a lot really. My mum and dad had an age difference of six years, that didn't make a difference." Once the words were out of her mouth she couldn't take them back could she?
"I – I meant like...age is just a number? No...Erm...I –I didn't, I didn't mean it like that you know..." Her long hair fell and hid her face from me; did she do that on purpose? I had to laugh.
"I know what you meant." I said as I moved her hair behind her ear and looked at the scene before me. Out of the corner of my eye I could see her watching me, looking for something. But what?
"And just for the record, I don't care about age either." I had to smile at that. I couldn't help but wonder how I, Lincoln Burrows. Could have fallen for someone so small, so innocent. We just looked at each other. And then she laughed.
"What's so funny eh?" She was just full of surprises, like the fact that she was in fact a girl, not a boy. Boy did that make me mad, how could they put her in Fox River when the likes of T – Bag were in there?
"Well, maybe I am a bit young...Old man!" She covered her mouth with her hand to try and stop the giggles from escaping, but that wouldn't do.
"Old man huh? Then treat your elders with some respect!" And then I attacked her sides, tickling anywhere I could reach. Apparently she was incredibly ticklish, and her ribs were the most sensitive.
"STOP! Lincoln I'm sorry...You're...You're not an old...Man! Just please...Stop!" She tried to say in between her giggling. She tried to pull away from me so I pulled her forward, she pulled back again and we both landed on the floor. Giggling like crazy.
"Why are you giggling? You didn't even get tickled!" She protested, she was just too damn cute, and even cuter when she was mad. I couldn't help but laugh! Eventually our laughter died down, and we were left just laying there. She turned onto her side to face me and stuck her tongue out, so I stuck mine out too.
"You know Lincoln, for such a big guy with a reputation for being mean and stuff..." She thought I was mean? "You're just like a big teddy bear!" And with that she jumped on me, pinned me down and attacked my armpits. I couldn't help but laugh and beg her to get off; I didn't want to wake Michael. This was too much fun. She refused to stop so I rolled over until I was the one on top of her; pinning her down. That's when we both stopped giggling. I couldn't help but grin, and she laughed at my grin.
"So what now Mr Teddy bear? You know as well as I do that I won't be able to overpower you..." She trailed off again...
"Hmmm...Yes. I do know that. And yes, I do know what I'm going to do." And with that, I kissed her. She kissed me back too, and soon enough I was begging for entrance into her mouth; and she granted it. We fought for dominance, occasionally she won, other times I did. She took advantage and rolled over so she was straddling me now, still not breaking the kiss. Trying to sit up without letting go of her wasn't that difficult. All too soon the kiss slowed down, and we broke apart; she planted a small kiss on the tip of my nose. So I did the same.
"I thought I was a young lady? Hmm...?" She couldn't help but sound seductive when she said that.
"Age is just a number remember?" And with that we were kissing again, we made it over to the couch where we stayed. Michael found us hours later; her curled up on top of me with my arms around her. Both of us sleeping soundly. As long as I could have her, I knew things would work out right.
AN: Review? Should I make this into a story or not? At the minute I think I will, cause every now and then you need a bit of Lincoln ;)
