Chapter 9

(Blaise's POV)

Blaise, Rosalie and that other one they called Aphrodite sat in one of the benches near the training room as they looked at the fighters training and raised their eyebrows.

"So, Blaise have you got someone?" Rosalie asked and Blaise looked at her chuckling.

"Yeah though it isn't that serious." Blaise said loudly and feeling panicked. She couldn't tell anyone she had Phillip as soulmate not even ones who knew anything about her, at least not much. Otherwise Poppy would never allow them talk, let alone be together and so will the rest. They still thought of her as the awful type and well she was. Who could blame them?

"He looks quiet hot; you know what I mean not that I want him or something." The other one they called Aphrodite said whilst grinning.

Blaise looked at her and grinned back at her wickedly. "You sure as hell won't," She responded back, "he is mine."

Rosalie and Aphrodite chuckled then turned to Caroline who was grinning. "So your one seems fit." Rosalie commented as she looked at the one they called Matt who was standing with David and Eric and some other boys.

"He sure as hell is." Caroline answered back then added "He used to date Elena before she met Stephen."

"Really?" Mimi questioned flicking her hair behind her ear to show her shiny, silver earrings. Blaise rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, in Fell's Church, Elena used to be the princess of the school." Caroline answered."She used to date one boy each week."

"Wow she must be the devil player then." Aphrodite said

"Not anymore, not after she saw Stephen." Caroline said as she looked at the golden-haired girl who was standing with Hannah and the other petite one they called Bonnie.

"What about you Rosalie?" Mimi said as she grinned evilly at Rosalie.

"I have Emmett and I don't want any other." Rosalie grinned back and was about to continue when they heard a noise and looked up. A girl was approaching them.

"If she sure rocks in her school like we do then she is welcome." Blaise whispered to the others and they all nodded.

"I am Patricia." Patricia said and looked them up and down as if judging them then she grinned. "Can I join this astounding group?"

"You certainly are welcome." Aphrodite burred and Patricia smiled then sat down next to Caroline.

"So what were we talking about before I came?" She asked and the others chuckled.

"Oh I am sure you will like it," Blaise said "We were saying which one was hotter and athletic than the other, you get what I mean?"

"I definitely do get it Blaise." Patricia answered back and off they continued their wicked conversation. Blaise chuckled under her breath. They were way, way better than the other boring ones and they were talking about one of the subjects she enjoyed all the time. Boys! She was going to have as much fun as she wanted as long as she stayed here.

(Quinn's POV)

"She is scary and hot man." Shane commented as they saw Rashel pass them and join Keller and the other girl.

"Dude, she is mine so back off." Quinn said as Ash snickered.

"Calm down man, I already have one." Shane said putting his hands up making Quinn grin.

"Your little Claire." He said and Michael shook his head.

"She seems weak on the outside but she is strong on the inside." He commented.

"What about yours?" Morgead asked facing Michael.

"Mine is very tough." Michael said back then pointed at Jez "Your one?"

"Believe me man, you don't want to get near her or you will be dead." Morgead chuckled.

"Oh My M'Lin is hundred times better than yours. She killed a werewolf." Ash said grinning from ear to ear.

"Quit t dude." Morgead said laughing. "Only one werewolf, Jez and Rashel killed thousands of werewolves as well as vampires and humans." He was now laughing hysterically.

"But she killed one without being trained to kill so that makes her a strong girl." Ash's eyes were resting on blue.

"Let us drop this subject man and talk about other." Stark who was watching them all this time said.

"Yeah so Stark where have you gotten all this scars from?" Shane asked as he sat down next to Stark.

"Fighting." Stark answered simply as he grinned "You don't fight right?"

"I sure as hell do, all the time in order to protect my family." Shane said turning serious now.

"Yeah, I, Eva, Claire and he fight all the time because we work for the owner of the town and we have to protect the town from danger since humans and Claire's parents as well as Eva's parents live there." Michael answered the question Stark was about to ask.

"Wow, it looks like a dangerous town." Dimitri who joined them at the time said.

"What about you guys? Do you face danger like we do?" Shane asked Quinn.

"Yeah we do. Actually all the time. In each day, one of us finds a human soulmate and since they don't want to be caught, they try to join us so we can protect them." Quinn grinned at them then said "But it is fun." And the others laughed as Ash slapped Quinn on the back.

As they were laughing, another boy sat down in where they were sitting and rested his head on the wall. "So you guys battle like that?" He asked and continued "Mine is where I have to face loving a vampire girl whilst my whole family are vampire hunters and I am being trained to do that."

"Wow that seems like the greatest thing that has ever happened to anyone." Morgead said sarcastically and the others cackled evilly.

"Nah, mine is way, way wittier than yours." The one that was with the group that came from Dullsville said, what was his name? Yeah, Jasper or something Jagger? Whatever, Quinn thought as he looked at the guy wearing only a vest that caused his tattoos to be revealed. The guy sat down and stared at them one by one. What was his problem?

"And you are?" Quinn said

"Jagger Maxwell." The guy answered back as he arched his eyebrows up, like he was expecting them to know him like he was a celebrity. Dumbass. Hell, he thought he was tough though he was no way nearer. He was really infuriating Quinn now and Quinn wanted to punch him.

"And you must be?" Jagger challenged

"Quinn." Quinn answered back, his eyes becoming black now.

"Well Quinn, I tell you, you better not mess with me cos you don't know me." Jagger said and grinned wickedly.

Quinn, Morgead and Ash burst out laughing then Ash said "Really dude?." Then he doubled with laughter.

Jagger looked at them then shook his head.

Oh who cared anyways? Quinn knew that he can take down that guy in one second, wait half a second. Yeah, half a second so there was no point having a row with him. Was there? No there wasn't and if there was, well Jagger must be ready because Quinn was ten times stronger than him or any other vampire that he came across.

(Bonnie's POV)

Bonnie looked at the other girls and scrunched her eyebrows. There was Thea, the sweet one and Gillian who was the same as her as well as Hannah who was even more sweet her than her. There were many that she was standing with right now after Meredith joined that group who brawled and Elena joined some others who she hinted weren't as sweet as these.
"So that is how you discovered you were a witch?" Thea asked as Bonnie finished telling her what she had gone through.

"Yeah, and now Damon told us about this place." She told them and she looked at her environs. Looking for a sign of Damon but he was nowhere to be seen. At least not with the group of guys she was expecting him to be with.

"What else are you capable of doing Bonnie?" Rowan asked

"I can foresee the future." Bonnie said as she smiled at Rowan.

"Wow, so you are like Poppy." Mary-Lynette responded automatically.

"Poppy? Who is Poppy?" Bonnie asked. No matter how many times they introduced themselves it was still hard to get to know them. They were just soo many. About thirty people in one house.

"Poppy is my cousin's soulmate and a lost witch who is now a vampire. She always dreams of the future before it happens." Thea said. Oh. She wished this holiday wasn't as perplexing as it was.

"Let us go look for something to eat." Hannah said sensing how she was confused and they all nodded.

"Actually, I am going hunting." Rowan said shrugging her shoulders.

"But Rowan, there is some blood in the fridge, I think." Gillian told her and they all stood up and headed for the kitchen.

As they walked, they passed by a group of boys that Bonnie didn't recognise. One of them whistled and Thea looked at him.

When Ash saw Mare, he put on a sweet smile.

"So this is your M'Lin." They heard one of the guys asking and when Mare looked at him, he drew back. He probably was the one that was whistling.

"Shane." A petite girl who talked for the first time said warningly.

"Claire, you okay?" The boy Shane suddenly turned overprotective.

Mare looked at Ash then smiled at him sweetly. They all entered a big kitchen.

"So Ash is a bad boy?" Bonnie questioned

"He used to be." Rowan said smilingly knowingly at Mare. "That was before he met Mare."

Bonnie looked between them and shrugged her shoulders. Changing the subject, she said "Wow, this kitchen is so beautiful. I have never seen one like it."

"I know," Claire said, she was the only that agreed with what she said. It didn't seem like a big deal to the others.

"Little bit bigger than Theirry's one." Thea said looking it up and down as they continued walking till they reached the dining table. Three girls were sitting there.

"Eva, where have you been? I have been looking for you everywhere." Claire suddenly asked one of the girls called Eva.

"Oh sorry Claire Bear, I was just having a chat with Raven and Becky." Eva said and Claire smiled at her.

"Claire Bear?" Raven questioned.

"Yeah I call her that because she is the youngest one of us in our house in Morganville. I and Shane and Michael are all eighteen and nineteen so she just turned seventeen.

Claire blushed then fingered her brown hair.

"And I am telling you and telling you Mimi, I don't want to have anything to do with that." A girl's voice was suddenly heard and they all turned to find two girls.

"But Sky you know it, if you don't follow this, you will lose Jack." The one they said Mimi was saying. Hands on hips.

"You already have Kingsley and so I don't know why Jack still matters to you. He is bonded to me Mimi. Not you anymore." The one they called Sky said back.

"Nope girl, Jack will never be yours no matter what you try." Mimi threw back.

"Just leave me alone Mimi. I am not in the mood for any of this right now." Sky said taking a deep breath. They didn't seem to notice the others watching them. "Why don't you go have fun with that lifeless ones you were having entertainment with before rather than have this brainless argument?"

"You will be when you see what I do to you." Mimi said back grinning evilly.

"Oh please." Sky said back and shook her head.

"You are a half-human, an abomination, what will he want from you?" Mimi looked like she was having fun.

"He loves me more than he ever did love you." Sky threw back and the others looked at each other. This seemed to be a good scene to watch.

Mimi threw back her head and laughed. "That was just an illusion Sky. Nothing more." Mimi said grinning wickedly "You will pay for this whether here or somewhere else."

"I thought we came here to rest from that wretched life of ours back in Manhattan not start another one here." Sky seemed to be getting bored.

"Who cares? That is my fun." Mimi said back shrugging her shoulders then smirked and left.

Sky sighed then muttered 'bitch' under her breath and turned around only to face them. Her mouth opened in surprise and her eyes widened.

"Ah...we are sorry. We didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation." Claire said apologetically and Sky who recovered from her shock shrugged her shoulders then sat down in one of the chairs.

"Is she your sister?" Rowan asked her.

"No but Jack's twin sister." Sky said not explaining who jack was for they already knew.

"But how can she..." Gillian started not knowing how to explain what she meant but Sky understood it.

"They were bonded. That is the way it is in our world. But Jack doesn't love her though she loves him. He cut the bond and made one between me and him however Mimi isn't happy with that." Sky explained. "Even though she now has Kingsley, she doesn't like me."

"Oh." Bonnie said not knowing what else would be better to say.

"I know." Sky said back looking up at her.

(Rashel's POV)

This was all nice. To be in this room with people who were like her. Rashel smiled as she looked at Rose.

"So how come Dimitri trained you?" Jez asked as she sat down for a while to have a rest.

"Well, he was an instructor who was supposed to train guardians-to-be students. I was one f them so he trained me." Rose answered back but there was also something else in there.

"And so the Lion shall lie down with the Lamb." Jez said surprisingly and grinned.

Rose looked at her, her eyebrows creased. She then shrugged her shoulder. "Well, love makes people blind so we..." She said trailing off and the others sniggered.

"You are the same aren't you Meredith?" Keller questioned.

"Yeah, he was my history teacher when our formal one got murdered by Damon." Meredith said and the others looked, feeling sort of surprised to hear such thing. "Believe me; you don't want to hear about Damon's bad side." Meredith continued as she smirked at them.

"I get it." Rashel said as she looked at the others and they waited for her to carry on what they expected to hear from her. "He was evil and killed humans for nothing then he met Bonnie right?" She questioned, raising her elegant eyebrows up.

"Well, half of it is true though part seeing Bonnie firstly isn't because he saw Elena first though his brother got to her before him." Meredith said smiling knowingly at the others.

Rashel looked at the other girl and nodded. This vacation must truly be one to remember.

"Well, how about you?" Meredith asked Rashel as Jez and Keller smirked. Rashel didn't get pleasure from this that much. People knowing about her and how she met Quinn and all. It shouldn't have mattered to people like it did to her and Quinn but too bad it was a famous story when it came to Descoudres family.

She sighed and looked at the others. "Well I was a vampire hunter and he was a cold blooded vampire who imprisoned humans then we met and fought then we realised we were soulmates and finis." She answered back and turned to lift the free weight up. They might have been like her but she didn't like going on the soft side near anyone else apart from Quinn. It was their secret life that no one else should know about.

Jez made jokes and they all laughed as they continued on training. It was all fun until the horrendous sound interrupted it all. It echoed through the mansion and they all turned to look at each other. It was very ear-splitting like it was a thunder and Rashel was sure that it made some girls in the mansion scream (Ilianna) being the first one. She put down the free weight that she was holding in her hand and they all looked at one another then all headed to the door at the same time. Rashel was the first one to get there until Jez came behind and pushed her back though it was impossible. She pushed Jez back and got out of the room.

"OH MY GOD KELLER!" Someone shouted hysterically and Rashel looked at that person's direction although seh knew who it was. No one other than Ilianna who was stumbling with the long blue dress she was wearing. Rashel saw Keller roll her eyes and she smirked.

"I thought I was almost going to die!" Ilianna said breathing rapidly as she came into stop. "It was all so scary and it happened suddenly and..." Ilianna bubbled on and on and Keller was trying to calm her down with Jez making a face at Morgead behind Ilianna. Rashel's gaze was focused on one thing that no one else set their eyes on apart from her. It was something she expected. They could never get away from this life. It was permanent just like how her mom was never coming back.

She stared at the glistening words that hinted there was trouble approaching. It was written in a bold capital letters.

"YOU WILL NEVER GET AWAY UNTIL I TEST YOUR BLOOD!"
