I came in from school and trudged upstairs. I walked straight into my room and sat on my bed, dropping my bag on the floor. I knew he was there. I sat focused on one area of my wall avoiding eye contact.
"Why are you here?" I asked him still not looking. There was no answer.
"What do you want from me? Why do you always come to me?" I whimpered almost starting to cry from worry. I had to look at him. Just for one second. He was wearing different clothes this time. He was wearing a black, pinstriped suit with a red tie. He started to walk over, his hands in his pockets. He sat on the bed next to me.
"I need your help." he said in a gentle tone.
"What for? I don't understand."
"I'm not complete and never can be if you don't help me."
"Why can't someone else help you?"
"You don't understand you're the only one who can help."
"Am I special or something?"
"Yes. Extremely." Then he faded away.
Nobody knew this but I had a gift. I could see and speak to the dead. This man would come to me every Wednesday. He would come to my room at 3 o'clock and wait for me till I got in from school. This was the first time he ever spoke to me. I usually couldn't look at him because when I tried to he would just fade away. He probably didn't this time because he wanted to talk to me...
