Summary: When a young cucumber (who has floating long claws as hands as well as all the other veggies that play animals in this parody)named Larry meets a young tomato named Bob, the two decide to become friends. However, when the two become natural enemies, will our protagonists be able to become friends again? Or will they hate each other forever?
One: Larry's & Bob's Arrival
At first & in nearly half of the forest, there was silence.
Followed by loud yelling & swift chasing, a lightning bolt was seen suddenly appearing out of nowhere.
While holding her baby boy with her supposed "hands," a female cucumber was seen running off in fear.
Why are Georgette's (the OC I've just mentioned) pursuers chasing her, you ask?
It's because her infant son has an extraordinary secret.
While the hunter & his assistants were now only a few inches behind her, Georgette kept on running off.
Eventually dashing across the floating stones of a waterfall-featured lake, Georgette kept on looking around frantically.
Knowing her pursuers will eventually manage to get her & her child, Georgette also knew she couldn't hide in the part she was in of the forest.
'What can I do now?' Georgette asked herself, arriving at a huge bridge featuring a small lake underneath it.
While she ran beyond tons of grass, Georgette's son woke up with curiousity.
Sensing her pursuers were managing to approach her more, Georgette continued to run till she approached an area where a small old house is located at.
A nearby cabin was seen with a male asparagus named Archibald sleeping inside his bedroom, which was featured in the cabin.
"Oh my goodness. What's happening out there?" he asked, waking up in surprise because of all the commotion happening outside his cabin right now.
Peeking outside from his cabin, Archibald sees Georgette running off as she still held her child.
After seeing a nearby fence, she rushed over to it & puts her child right up to it & onto the ground while she knew her pursuers won't ever discover him there.
"I know all this seems confusing to you, but I know you'll understand someday." Georgette whispered to her son with tearfull eyes. "Goodbye, sweetheart."
Her son watches his mother as she rushed off again.
With the female cucumber proceeding to dash out of sight, Archibald continued watching.
Another electric bolt was abruptly seen right before a huge flock of birds were seen flying off, making Archibald gasp in horror when he realized what had just happened to Georgette before he turned to see something small & light green right near the fence.
Curious as to what Georgette had left near the fence, Archibald went over to the fence, going out of his cabin.
Sure enough, Archibald saw a confused tiny cucumber as he simply stood there, looking around as if he was wondering where his mother was.
"Oh, you poor little fella." said Archibald, making the cucumber turn to look at him, startled by this as he hid behind the other side of the fence. "It's all right. Archie's here."
"You know, you're gonna need some caring for." Archibald told him, making the cucumber slowly come out from behind the fence. "Now, let's see, little one."
"You need, um..." Archibald began saying before the small cucumber hugged him as if he wanted to stay with him before he stopped.
"Oh no, no, no." Archibald insisted, stepping back from him a bit in surprise. "Not me. Definitely not me. But, I'm thinking though."
Looking up at the sky, Archibald thought for a second.
"Ooh!" he instantly exclaimed, having an idea. "That's it!"
After picking the cucumber up & putting him in between a patch of tall grass, Archibald told him, "Now, don't go anywhere. I'll be right back."
The cucumber watched in horror & confusion as Archibald hurried off.
Where Jimmy & Jerry were, which was up in a tree, Jimmy hit the tree a bit while both him & Jerry were attempting to get the gummy worm they both were after, which was in the tree as of right now.
"Good work, Jimmy. We're sure to get him this time." Jerry softly assured his brother as they both managed to look through a small hole in the tree. "Shh! He should be in there."
Archibald appeared up in the tree where the 2 were after he had quickly climbed up it.
"Whew. I'm glad I found you 2." Archibald told the brothers, making them turn in surprise to see him before he swiftly climbed down the tree & hurried off. "There isn't any time to lose. Come along. I'm gonna need your help."
"Come on, Jimmy. We'd better go." Jerry told him before he climbed down the tree also & hurried off behind Archibald.
"Aw. B- but Jerry..." Jimmy began, desperately wanting to stay up in the tree to try to get the gummy worm before he grudgingly surrendured & followed both Archibald & his brother. "Oh gosh darn it!"
Peeking out of the tree, the gummy worm looked around quick before he sighed in relief while he was glad Jimmy & Jerry were gone.
The 3 veggies soon arrive at the area where the same tiny cucumber is hidden as of right now.
Looking down to the ground, Jimmy saw the cucumber hidden between tall grass & said, taking pity on him while making him open his eyes, sit up & look at the orange gourd in curiousity, "Aw, poor little guy. He's all alone out here."
"Now don't you worry." Archibald told the cucumber. "We'll find someone to look after you."
Thinking, Jerry looked at Madame Blueberry's farm that's nearby before looking back at the tiny cucumber.
"Hey, I think I got an idea." Jerry soflty told both Archibald & Jimmy before the 3 adult veggies huddled around together to find out what Jerry's plan was.
"Yes, that's a brilliant plan!" Archibald happily thought.
"Okay, Jimmy. You know what to do, right?" Jerry asked his brother with a smile.
"Yes! Just leave it to me fellas!" Jimmy replied before he rushed over to the front door of Madame Blueberry's small house & quickly knocked on the door 4 or 5 times.
But just before Jimmy could move out of its way, the door suddenly swung open, knocking him to the ground hard.
"Who is it?" Madame Blueberry asked, smiling before frowning in surprise when she realized there was no one at her door. "Hmm. That's weird. I swore I heard somebody knocking."
She gasped in shock when she saw Archibald & Jerry grabbing 1 of her coats off a nearby clothesline as they grinned.
"Oh my goodness! My laundry!" Madame cried as she ran after the 2 in panic as they rushed off away from her, hurrying to where the younger cucumber was. "Stop! Please come back!"
Archibald & Jerry managed to swiftly throw her coat over the cucumber to cover him up before they hopped off quick.
"My gosh! I really wonder what got into those men." a frowning Madame Blueberry thought to herself with a frown as soon as she approached the area where her coat was lying at & while she began lifting it off the ground.
Startled to see the infant cucumber, Madame dropped her coat to the ground for a second.
"Well, my gosh!" Madame thought, smiling as she lifted the coat up off the ground sideways to see the cucumber again. "Why, it's - it's a baby cucumber. Geez, I wonder where its mother is."
"Come on now. I'm not gonna hurt you." Madame told him as he fearfully leaned back a bit.
"Now, now. Oh my, my, my." Madame chuckled, grabbing the tiny cucumber as he struggled hard to get away from her before she pulled out a blanket she had & wrapped it around him just as he decided to obviously surrender. "You're a feisty little rascal, aren't you? There, there, little one. You can't be left out here all by yourself."
"Oh, he's so cute." Madame thought to herself as she took the cucumber back to her house.
Making her chuckle a bit, the cucumber was drinking milk from the baby bottle Madame was holding fast as she held him & was sitting in a chair, also slowly rocking him back & forth in her arms.
"Now, now. Not so fast, little one. Slow down. Oh my goodness. You're 1 cute cuke, aren't you? You know what? I think I'll call you... Larry. My little Larry, the cucumber who filled up my lonesomeness."
On the same day, Mr. Nezzer, who was Madame's zuccini neighbor & a bad-tempered hunter, arrrived back to his house using his car, having had brought back a surprise for Mr. Lunt, who's his long-time hunting gourd assistant.
After sleeping for a little while as he snored a bit as well, Mr. Lunt sat up as he sleepily opened his eyes before he saw Mr. Nezzer looking for something at the back of his car.
Mr. Lunt yawned before he sleepily grinned at Mr. Nezzer.
"I've got a surprise for you, Lunt." Mr. Nezzer told him, chuckling as he was seen holding up a sack that had something inside it.
Seeing the sack & thinking there was scrumpcious food he always liked to eat in it, this made Mr. Lunt eagerly go up to Mr. Nezzer & try to get the sack from him.
"Now, now. Take it easy, Lunt." Mr. Nezzer told him as he hopped backwards from him a bit.
Making Mr. Lunt jump back in an alarmed manner, the sack suddenly moved a bit.
"Well, how's this for a hunting companion? He may be just a little one now, but he'll grow." Mr. Nezzer explained while holding up a smiling tiny tomato that had been in the sack.
After Mr. Nezzer had gently placed the tomato onto the ground, a frowning Mr. Lunt went over to him in suspicion before he smiled, jumped onto Mr. Lunt, & hugged him.
This made Mr. Lunt pull the tomato off of him & place him onto the ground before he frowned unpleasantly at Mr. Nezzer.
"Might as well get used to him, Lunt. Now he's for you to look after forever." Mr. Nezzer told him before he went back into his house.
When he saw the tomato snuggling up against him, Mr. Lunt simply pushed him away & went back into his huge barrel area. When he sees that the tomato had followed him inside, this made Mr. Lunt look shocked as he backed out of his barrel a bit. Wanting to play, the tomato joyfully bounced around.
"Hmm." Mr. Lunt angrily thought to himself before he pushed the tomato out of his barrel.
Wanting to try to get to sleep, Mr. Lunt laid down near his barrel.
The tomato simply cuddled up next to him after going up to him again.
Waking up, Mr. Lunt looked at the sleeping tomato before he sighed & went to sleep.
