Oh how one doth Remember
He had spent so many nights re living her death that it soon became a part of him. Esperanza was a beauty beyond comparison. Her hair was long and dark just like the night yet her eyes were bright and lively like the rising sun. Her skin was a deepening shade yet her heart remained light and open. Diego knew her body so well. He knew every inch, every curve, every turn. He knew more than a man could possible comprehend. Yet he only knew because she let him know. So freely had she given herself to him, so unheeding to the unmarked dangers that lie ahead. She knew the risks yet she stayed, she loved him any moment he allowed her. She stepped in time with his, though not completely unaware of the consequences. She refused to leave when he begged her. Though he never spoke it she knew. Rarely need he speak for she knew his thoughts. She was his love, she was his life, and she was taken from him with no remorse. Their steal swords rang, the bullet sang, now she lay lifeless in his arms. The beauty in the square he wished to remember, now all he see's is red and all he hears is the crack and break of his heart falling to pieces. Yet he does not move, he does not try and lick his wounds. He lets them fester and rot openly. He will not forget this, never will he forget. So when these chains drop from me Rafael you better pray for you will die.
