Ok this is a little one-shot about Jen and Kristie when Riley found them. Enjoy.
Friends Forever
I walked through the alley, feeling a little scared. Seattle has been going on a killing spree for a year now and the streets weren't safe anymore, but I continued to creep through the place.
"Kristie…?" I called out in a whisper as soon as I heard footsteps. "C'mon, this isn't funny." That's when someone jumped me from behind. I jumped frightened but when I heard that dorky laugh, I turned and glared.
"Kristie that's not funny." I growled.
"Whatever…" she laughed, "You should have seen your face when I scared the crap out of you."
"Shut up…" I shoved her into a wall.
"Hey…" she complained and came back to my side. "Don't, mess with me." she warned. Kristie was not a girl to mess around with, before she moved to Seattle, she got expelled four times and the only reason why she hasn't got expelled yet, was because I'm her closest friend. I had to admit, it was because of her why I became a rebel, finally free to do what I want and not caring what my parent think. I gotta love her for that.
"Hey," she stopped both of us, "You here that?"
"Hear what?"
"Just listen." And when I did, I heard screaming. She gestured out head to go check it out and we did. We hid in the corner and saw a really hot, hot guy over a man.
"I call dibs." Kristie quickly said.
"No fair." I hissed at her. She smirked and we looked back at Mr. Hot guy. He picked up the dude as if he was a pebble.
"Strong too." Kristie trailed off. But we both got frightened when he pulled his mouth to the guy's neck and they guy started screaming.
"What the- holy shit…" she cursed under her breathe.
"Should we run?" I stuttered.
"You know how I am." She said and we slowly moved away. "What was that?" she whispered.
"I don't know…" I whispered, "You're such a coward."
"But I'm still a bad girl." She laughed.
"Hello ladies." We jumped around and saw the hot guy.
"Hey…" Kristie said, "What do you want?" she got on the whole touch girl thing back on.
"You two will be perfect for the army." He whispered.
"What army?" I asked acting all tough like. He smirked and took off his sunglasses, showing off his glowing red eyes. Kristie and I stepped back but we held our ground.
"Oh, just because you got red contacts on makes us scared." Kristie said.
"I'm Riley." He smirked and jumped on me. He bit my neck and I felt the burning. It felt like fire running through my veins.
"Jen!" Kristie yelled as soon as I fell to the cold ground, "What did you do to her you ass." She yelled at him. That's when I heard her screaming. I tried opening my eyes and when I did, Kristie was right beside me. She opened her eyes and looked at me, as if to say, 'bye…'
I closed my eyes and tried to reach for her hand. When I did I squeezed it tightly, not wanting to let go. She squeezed mine back.
"Well you two might make a good addition." He lifted us both, how I knew? I felt Kristie's hand lifting up, which pulled me along with it. Yeah we weren't gonna let go.
….
That was out last human moment. No one missed us. We weren't important to others. Others just saw us as trouble makers who had no future. The only person who practically missed me was my little dirty blonde haired sister. She tried to convince our parents to come look for us, but they didn't want me around anymore. How I knew, I managed to sneak up there and not kill someone.
So now I only had Kristie, even though she made a gang but I was the only one who knew her. She was even more bossy but we were still friends. And we will be friends forever. And I know that sounded corny, but I said it.
