Disclaimer – Obviously I don't own Severus Snape or 'I Love You Baby' but I do own the other three teenagers. And before you even ask, I'm not going to tell you if 'James' is James Potter. This story was originally thought up as a prologue and I'll write the rest of the story if you want me to. So with all the boring bits out of the way let the story begin…

1 Just Another Day in The Mad House

Three teenagers were sitting in a living room in a house in London. One of the girls, aged 17, whose name was Ollie McDollie, was sitting on the sofa. The other girl, Louella Jones, aged 18, the eldest of the teenagers, was sitting opposite her. Severus Snape, A 17 year old boy, the youngest, was sitting on the floor. They heard a key turn in the lock of the front door as their last flatmate, Jane Chrystal, came in. She slammed the door shut and they could hear her stamping into the kitchen. Severus and Lou looked at Ollie.

"Don't look at me," She said, "I talked to her last time she argued with James"

"And I did it the time before that" Severus said. Lou sighed.

"I suppose it's my turn then" Lou said.

"Yep." Lou got up and walked into the kitched.

Within a minute Severus and Ollie could hear laughter coming from the kitchen. Lou was mad. She could make anyone laugh. Even the teachers. That's why nickname was Loopy-Lou. Lou and Jane came in. It was obvious that she had been crying, but she wasn't any more. She was laughing.

Soon they were all sat on and around the sofa discussing random things such as the weather, TV last nigh and the local Kentucky restaurant.

"Is it just me," Lou asked, "or is the service on the moon going down in standards"

Jane looked at her and said, "You're odd"

"Hey," Lou said, "I heard that!"

"You were meant to" Jane replied before being attacked by Lou, armed with a cushion. She grabbed the nearest cushion and started defending herself. Ollie joined in, defending Jane. Severus sighed.

"Ladies, Ladies" He said, "Really!" The three 'ladies' turned on him and started attacking him. Suddenly Lou's cushion burst spraying feathers everywhere. It was at this moment that she decided to sing an impromptu version of

"I love you baby and if it's quite alright,

I need you baby to warm the lonely nights,

I love you baby trust in me when I say…" etc. Ollie, Jane and Severus joined in before all collapsing on the floor in hysterics.

James took a deep breath and knocked on the door. It was unusually quiet in that house and this worried him slightly.

"Go Away," Ollie yelled, "The door's open" He paused, deciding whether to risk walking straight into the mad house. He decided to risk it and opened the door. As he walked in he saw Severus sitting quietly in a corner, making some potion or other, Ollie, lying on the sofa reading a book, a Jane shaped mound of feathers snoring softly (Which may or may not have been Jane in this house) and Lou, hanging upside down from a light bulb.

"Louella" He began, "What exactly are you doing?"

"Duh? I'm pretending to be a bat, isn't it obvious?" She replied.

"Oh, silly me"

As he leant down to wake Jane up he thought to himself, 'Just another day in the mad house!"
