Poor, poor Paul's POV
Dang it…I really need to stop getting into horror movie series, especially when I drink no-name beer. Last I remember was that I just finished Saw V and I was putting in Saw VI before I passed out.
My headache was distracting but soon my wolf nature will heal it and I'll be good to go. I smelt something weird…I wasn't at home.
I took in my surroundings and it was dark so everything was dimmed down, but I could still sort of see. I reached around myself and stood up. I saw something against the wall. It looked sort of like paint but I needed light to see where it was. I felt a switch and I flicked it.
The place lit up. I looked around. I spotted a red box with a scentless note that just said my name: Paul. I reached out to take it and I opened it. Inside it I found an orange key and a tape player. My eyes widened and I shook my head. The Jigsaw Killer was just in a movie. I grabbed the tape player and pressed play and I listened. It was a muffled feminine voice and I wondered if it was actually Amanda Young, Jigsaw's apprentice, giving me this test. I shuddered at the thought. Everyone knew that her test subjects never survived making them merely victims.
Paul…I want to play a game.
To live you have to get out of my house.
All you have to do is follow my tape recordings.
And keep track of what I give you.
This tape has two sides. Side A and B.
In the end you will have seven different colored keys and thirteen tapes.
All you have to do to get out is play my little game.
The door to get out will have a slot with a digital numbering above it.
That slot scans the tapes and it will tell me if you have all thirteen.
There are also 7 different colored locks and you have to unlock each with the correct key.
All you have to do is find them before my timer goes off in two hours.
I gaped at the tape recorder I opened it and took out the tape and flipped it over.
Paul…you're not as dumb as you look, or act.
The first gift I give you is in the room with you, and I think it'll help you out a little.
All you have to do is find what you've already found and use your useless brain.
Don't worry, you'll find it…eventually.
I looked around the room. "Find what you've already found…" I muttered to myself. My hangover disappeared a couple seconds later. My vision was immediately useful and my senses were on high alert. I smelt that paint again but I couldn't see it. I then remembered. I turned off the lights and spotted the glow in the dark paint on the wall across the room. With the box in hand I ran over to it and pulled out the rock covering it. I saw a tape and an Advil. I swallowed the Advil and relieved what was left of my ongoing headache. I smiled.
I put in the second tape side C up.
I told him you were smart, Paul, but he wouldn't listen.
No key this time, but you can get out of this room.
The door is next to where you woke up.
Slam into it three times and it'll open.
The key is on the ceiling.
What are you willing to suffer for freedom?
I frowned and went out the door after breaking it open. I made my way through it and saw the yellow key hanging from the ceiling by a chain. I reached my hand up and pulled on it. It didn't give. My eyes widened. I looked around the room and spotted a toolbox. I opened it. It had a wrench, a screwdriver, and a hammer in it. I put the wrench and the hammer in my red toolbox. I took the screwdriver and threw it at the key. I smiled. The key was held up by the screwdriver on the wall.
I walked by the chain and grabbed the key.
I flipped the second tape to the D side.
Paul…I see you are still alive.
That or you didn't retrieve the key yet.
It's easy, use some of Jake's tools and maybe you will live.
If you have the key pull on the chain and hide.
In time a raven will come to help you.
I looked back at the chain. I grabbed the hammer and walked with it held in the air. I pulled it through the chain. As I walked away I released the hammer. The ceiling above the chain collapsed. I saw a tape taped to the second ceiling. I spotted a raven flying toward me with a key in mouth.
It landed on my shoulder and dropped the red key into my hand. I stared at the tape. I jumped up. I missed by an inch. I growled to myself. The raven was watching me with mischievous eyes and it was laughing in a caw-cawing way. I spit at it and it glared at me.
It flew upward above my head and I hoped it was trying to get the tape for me. Then its tail lifted.
I groaned, "Oh sh—" It interrupted me.
Its waste products hit me in the eye. It laughed in its cawing way again. I growled at it. I hopped toward it, intending to kill it. Then I hit my head on the ceiling.
I groaned as I hit the ground. The tape landed in my mouth.
I picked up the tape and played the E side on my tape player.
Fetch boy! Hahaha…
Anyway, good job. Follow the raven.
She'll take you to the next room.
In there, there will be two keys and one tape.
Use your head to figure this one out.
I frowned. I watched the raven carefully. It went to the other side of the room and tapped the wall three times with her beak. I went foreword and we both went through the small hole.
I spotted a sandwich and a coke on a coffee table in what seemed to look like Jake's house. I smiled. Lunch.
I grabbed up the sandwich and took a bite.
Then my headache returned and I felt a crunch. I spit out what was it my mouth and I saw a deformed key, a green one. I ripped apart the sandwich and I saw the other key and the tape recorder.
I flipped the third one to the F side.
Don't eat the sandwich.
I finally said, "Screw it." I ran through all the exhibits and I grabbed the stupid bird too. I didn't get the other tapes and keys though. I ran to a big metal door. I grabbed the scanner thingy and ripped it out of the wall. I then broke the locks until the door opened.
Then I saw the tape hanging on the ceiling. I took the captive bird and said, "Get it."
The female raven cawed at me and grabbed the tape. I stuck it into the tape recorder and the only side said winner.
I pressed play.
Well done Paul.
But you should know the truth.
This is all a game.
I am a bird.
My name is Swan.
And I hate you.
So I tormented you.
Jake told me about your SAW movie marathon.
I thought it was interesting.
This is only the Pack's Part in the Raven's Play.
Oh and the door's open.
I looked up and saw the raven fly out the door. I chased it and shifted, but it shifted too. Then Bella Swan was completely naked in front of me and she laughed a cawing laugh.
Poor Rachel Black's POV
I was still locked in that missile-proof glass box Bella put me in. She promised Paul would save me. I looked around and observed the multiple canned food filled cabinets, the billions of bottled water in the fridge, next to the fridge and in the freezer. There was also loads of junk food, a bed, a bathroom, tampons, pads, a stuffed dog, a couch, a T.V., and a computer. There was a closet, gold card with Alice Cullen's name on it, dolls, candles, lighters, and a fireplace, a lifetime's supply of wood, puppets, and pictures of Paul.
Dammit she knew this would happen!
