Blades of the Leaf

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or any of the moves and characters mentiond from other series. I own Mark Frey and my friend owns Jason Hoffman

Chapter 1: The first two Blades

Mark's POV

I looked off into the distance as the Kyuubi no Kitsune began it's forced rampage upon Konoha. I sighed and looked over at my friend Jason. He's 5'10" which makes him taller than me since I'm 5'5" and he was dressed like Sephiroth, ya' know black boots, pants and trench coat that revealed most of his chest except he had a bunch of silver chains on his coat. On his left hip was a katana called Shadow of the Storm and his curly brown hair was barely ruffled by the wind. I myself wore similar black boots, black camoflauge cargos, twin studded black belts that criscrossed, crimson shirt, black long coat had the kanji for the seven deadly sins along my right arm in crimson and said long live despair on the back in white black gauntlets and a black pauldron on my left shoulder. My dirty blond hair was mussed up like I never fixed it which I don't try. On my belts were two crescent blades and on my back was my special sword Deathcalibur. "So what do we do?" Jason asked me as I continued to watch the Kyuubi's rampage.

"Something impossible." I said after I found the chakra signature of some one I was looking for. "C'mon." I began to run after the signature with Jason right behind me. We were always friends even before we found ourselves intot he Narutoverse. One day we were sucked into a vortex and were found by a Hebi-Onna (Snake woman) Named Mutsumi who trained us in a special cave that made a year go by for every day that went on outside but said that Jason and I wouldn't age. We quickly found out that we both could use lighting jutsu but Jason was also a wind user and I found a preference with water. Soon she gave use our swords and trained us. Turns out I'm a better swordsman but Jason can fight longer than I can. Finally Mutsumi said that we were ready and told us to come to Konoha and that is how we found ourselves at out current position.

After about five minutes we made it to the Konoha hospital and saw Uzumaki Kushina giving birth. I walked into the room much to the dismay of Tsunade but when she attacked me Jason used a wind prison jutsu on her. "Okay then time to play Kami." I muttered as I gathered my chakra and summoned water from nearby and had it wrap around Kushina's forehead and it glowed white. When the baby finally came Kushina held her and said, "I love you Naruto." Before passing out instead of dying due to my jutsu. "Good she's still alive. Jason release Tsunade-san." Jason nodded and complied. I picked up the baby and used my jutsu to wash him before handing him to his father Namikaze Minato. "Go." I said without looking at him. "Konoha will need the two of you."

"Thank you...How can I repay you?" Minato asked us.

"There's not really anything we want Hokage-sama." Jason said using the honorifics that Mutsumi-sensei and I had to teach him.

"No I must repay you some how. Now Naruto will have a mother." Jason and I thought but the idea was already in my head.

"Fine we will accept two things. One we are to be made Jonin of the village." Minato nodded. "Second when Naruto becomes a ninja we are to be his senseis and we can pick his group. Minato nodded agin before quickly writng a letter to Naruto for the future and making an official document granting my requests. "Now go. The village needs its hero." Minato thanked us once more before disappearing. I took out a scroll and put some blood on it and a portal opened which Jason and I walked through as Tsunade stared at us out of amazement.

13 years later

Naruto's POV

I had just come home after the whole mishap with that traitorous bastard Mizuki and was caught in a bear hug from Kaa-san. "Naruto are you okay?" She asked me. I nodded and grinned before she hit me hard on the head. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?" She yelled at me and I was afraid. Luckfully Iruka-sensei was behind me.

"It's alright Kushina-san. Apparently Mizuki tricked Naruto into stealing the scroll but Naruto perfected the Shadow clone jutsu." I saw Kaa-san brighten at the fact I learned a jonin level technique.

"Okay then." Kaa-san then noticed the hitai-ate on my head. "I thought he failed?"

"I did but since I stopped Mizuki Iruka-sensei said that I graduated!" I said and Kaa-san began to cry in happiness so she had Iruka-sensei stay over for some dinner. I woke up the next morining and went to the Academy and sat down next to my best friend Hyuuga Hinata. On my other side was my other friend Yamanaka Ino. Originally we didn't like each other but after Sasuke said that all girls were stupid one day she stopped liking him and tried to be nicer to me since it was because of him she didn't like me. Iruka-sensei came in and began to announce the teams. Before he got to team seven, Jiji-san came in and told him that there was a change in some of the teams.

"Ahhh. I see you haven't reached the teams that require changes. Team seven will be Hyuuga Hinata, Yamanaka Ino, and Uzumaki Naruto. Your senseis will be Frey Mark and Hoffman Jason. Team eight will be Aburame Shino, Inuzuka Kiba, and Haruno Sakura with Yuhi Kurenai as your sensei, Since team nine is still in use will skip that and team ten will be Nara Shikamaru, Uchiha Sasuke, and Akimichi Chouji with Sarutobi Asuma as your sensei. They will be here in one hour." We were all confused but we waited. Everyones senseis appeared first but then two guys came in both with swords. One was taller than the other but the shorter one had two crescent blades along with his sword. The shorter smiled at us.

"Yo! Okay follow us to the roof and then we can get to know each other." We followed them and the taller on leaned against a piller on the roof while the short one sat on the rail. "Okay then! Now then please introduse yourselves, likes, dislikes, dreams. Ya know the works. Here I'll go first for ya. I'm Frey Mark. I like darkness, fighting when nescessary and only when there is a good challenge, spicey food and chocolate, and fantasy books and manga. I dislike being aliveand pointlessness. My dream is to die a memorable death or to be free of my despair." The taller one sighed.

"I'm Hoffman Jason. I like video games, fighting my friend when he gets melodramatic, and anime. I dislike Mark's melodrama and being bored. My dream is to have fun in life."

I got it and went first. "I'm Uzumaki Naruto! I like ramen especially Ichiraku and the stuf my Kaa-san makes and I love my Kaa-san. I hate being picked on for no reason and the three minute wait after you add water to instant ramen. My dream is to become Hokage!"

I saw that Ino wanted to go next. "I'm Yamanaka Ino. I like my friends, shopping and flowers. I hate Uchiha Sasuke since he's a jerk and all of his mindless fangirls. My dream is to be head of my clan!"

"I'm Hyuuga Hinata. I like my friends as well. I don't like the main and branch system of my clans and people who insult my friends. My dream is to break the barriers of the main and branch factors and be rid of the caged bird seal." Mark-sensei nodded.

"Not bad dreams kiddies." He said. "Hopefully you will be able to achieve them. Okay then! Meet us at trainign area 44 tomorrow at ten."

"Why is that?" Hinata asked.

"Oh for a training in survival." Jason-sensei said. I thought this was weird. "You see we have to test you to see if you are ready for the way of the ninja."

"But we graduated already!" Ino yelled. "What was that about?"

"To weed out the weekest. Now we have to see if we did a good job." Jason-sensei said. We all were dismissed and the three of us decided that we better do our seperate training.

The next day

3rd person POV

Team seven arrived at training are 44 AKA the Forest of Death they saw their senseis. Jason then held out a bell while Mark hod on on his neck like a necklace. "This is a simple test. Take the bells from us HGowever should one of you not have a bell you fail and get sent back to the academy." Jason said as he disappeared. Mark set down a clock.

"Ya got til about noon. So hop to it."

Next time will be the test and we will see what kind of tricks the two outsiders learned from the Hebi-Onna Mutsumi who will be in this fic. Send in ideas of attacks you want to see and yes they may ber from other anime or video games since this is AU an all. Also if I screwed up on my grammer or japanese some where please tell so that I can rectify it.
