Nick's POV

Jason pulled another gun out of the truck and aimed it at an officer. "Don't do it Jason!" I shouted. "Why not?" He asked. "Cause, I can take you away from here" I answered, walking towards Jason.

"Stay back!" Jason aimed the gun at me. "Whoa, take it easy" I said.

"Where would we go?" Jason asked. "We could go to Miami" I suggested.

"Fine, but I'll only go with you" He said, walking towards me. "Alright, but drop the gun first" I said. Jason put the gun on the ground. "Alright, let's go" I said, getting in my truck. Jason climbed into the passenger side, and we drove off to Miami.

In Miami

As we were driving, I caught site of the Miami Crime Lab, so I decided to turn into the driveway. Jason and I got out. There were two men and a woman standing on the outside steps.

As I got closer, one of the men said, "Can I help you?" "I'm Nick Stokes, I'm from the Las Vegas Crime Lab and this is Jason Mcann" I said. "I'm Horatio Caine" We shook hands.

"Hi, I'm Calleigh Duquence" The woman said. "And this is Eric Delko"

"Hey" I said. "What are you doing here in Miami?" Horatio asked. "I'm trying to help Jason start a new life" I explained. "Maybe he could help out here" I suggested.

"Sure, we could use the help" Calleigh said. "Come, I'll show you two around" She offered. "Alright" I said. I smiled at her. She smiled back. I could see Eric from the corner of my eye. I could tell he didn't like me with Calleigh. He turned and entered the building.

End of Chapter 1

A/N: This chapter is just the first meeting of the characters. I'll try to make the story better next chapter. I wrote this because I didn't like that killed Jason Mcann at the end of the episode. This is my first CSI story/crossover ever, so please give this a good review.
