For once Mary wasn't high. She was playing with the girls and she asked them what they wanted for Christmas this year. Toni said she wanted a porcelain doll. Cessie said she wanted a new dress. Francine was quiet for a minute.

"Francine," Mary asked gently.

"I want you to stop using and drinking," Francine decided.

Mary stared at her 8-year-old daughter. She knew she had a drug problem and an alcohol problem but she never realized how serious the problem was. She needed to stop and she made herself a promise that day that she was going to stop.

((That Night))

"You need to put your tour on hold," Mary told her husband

"Why?"

"I'm checking into rehab," she said

"Gladly," Franki said and kissed her.

Christmas came. Toni got her doll. Cessie got her new dress. Mary handed Francine a piece of paper.

"What's that mommy?"

"It's a certificate saying I completed my treatment. I will never use again"

Francine cheered.

"This is the best Christmas ever," she said
