A/N: Eyup. This is my entry for megaman1998/CosmicMega's V-Day contest one-shot…*looks at calendar*…this is pretty late.. I decided to have a bit of fun with this one. And by bit of fun…well, you'll get what I mean later..heh heh heh..

Look, I don't own any of these characters. It's called 'Fan Fiction' for a reason, hombre!

and before you ask, I use Google Translate. When it doesn't screw up…

Once again in the Mushroom Kingdom, Valentine's Day arrived with pale skies and a nice, cool breeze. The snow was finally melting away turning into slush on the ground, and the residents of Toad Town were putting up the final decorations up, just in time for the early morning customers to shop for his or her sweetheart. Everyone was expecting a big day of events as the sun was making its way up into the sky. With the busy day ahead, everyone also wanted an early start on it. All of the Toads, Koopas, Goombas, from the east side of the kingdom to the west were already up out of bed with good intentions.

However within the quiet part of the kingdom where the sun was just penetrating through the trees, Luigi was already working on snoozing the whole entire day away in his extremely extravagant—

"MAIL CALL!"

…white and green mansion where he immediately fell to the hardwood floors of the master bedroom. After being completely startled from the sudden announcement, Luigi managed to get himself tangled in the comforter from the bed. After finally getting untangled and getting up off of the floor, he rubbed his eyes and ran his fingers through his already messy hair, trying to wake himself up. Soon after making up the bed and slipping on some house shoes, Luigi dragged himself out of the room, down the hallway, and to the front doors still in his pj's. When he opened them, he was greeted with the smell of pine and evergreen..oh and Parakarry; the mail parakoopa of the kingdom.

The koopa was idly hovering next to the mailbox with the usual load of mail and packages and whatnot.

"Hiya, Luigi!" Parakarry chirped as he met with the green, "Nice morning, eh?"

Luigi was about to respond, until the parakoopa cut him off, "You were …sleeping when I called?" He asked, apologetically after taking a look at Luigi's white and green striped pajamas and slippers.

"Erm..yeah..Parakarry.." Luigi sighed.

"…well..uh… besides that, how was your morning~?"

"I just woke up."

"….."

"…my morning was fine, Parakarry," Luigi mentally facepalmed at the green parakoopa, but decided to go ahead and spark the conversation again.

Parakarry 's face lightened up once again, "Well, that's just wonderful! And I've got just the thing to make it even better!" with that announcement, the koopa started rummaging through his mailbag and sung to himself while Luigi waited for whatever was so important.

"Oooh~ I! I wanna rock and roll all night~ And party everyday! Da da da da daaaaa~"

"So, what are you planning to do today?" the only reason asking why is because he honestly didn't feel like just standing there listening to a parakoopa sing.

"Oh, I'm just gonna make a few more rounds delivering valentines, then I'm going to visit Lady Bow…"

"…wait, valentines?"

"AHA!" Parakarry then triumphantly pulled out an orange envelope from his bag, "Here ya go! Sorry for the wait, Luigi!" he adjusted his glasses on his face and then closed the carrier again.

The younger Mario brother took one look at the letter that Parakarry handed him and knew immediately who it was from. And after hearing the word 'valentine', Luigi then connected the pieces together, "…IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY?"

"Eyup!" Parakarry chirped, "Have a good Valentine's Day, Luigi!"

Luigi did not waste any time opening the letter that came from—

Hi, Weegee!

I just happened to be in the kingdom and I was just wondering if you'd like to spend the day together. I'm a pretty early riser, so I might be at your place around twelve-ish. Peach went off to who-knows-where with Mario, so I'm basically stuck here. Blah, I'm saying too much. We'll save the convo for when I get there ;)

Love you!

~Dais

Luigi sprinted inside of the mansion.

"…almost noon now."

Checking himself in the mirror (looking very sharp after taking a shower and dressing up, also successfully making brunch for two) Luigi smiled in satisfaction knowing that he was going to try his best to make this one of the best Valentine's Days ever for not only himself, but for the love of his life. Everything was in order (well…the mansion is rarely messy anyway), the schedule was set, all he needed then was Daisy to complete the scene and-

Yeah, the doorbell rang.

Luigi looked up at the clock hanging up on the wall to see that it was exactly noon..unless his clock was wrong and it was actually three in the afternoon. No chance of that, right? Anyways, he went out of the dressing room that was very convenient and down to the parlor. A spritz of cologne as he opened the door to see a bright-eyed Princess Daisy was added in as a bonus.

Oh, he was ready to charm her, "Perché, ciao, Principessa Daisy" Luigi smiled.

Daisy was completely taken aback when her lover addressed to her in that smooth Italian she completely adored, and to top it all off then taking her hand leading her inside. Her face turned a tinge of red and she giggled out of compulsion. The Sarasi princess herself was wearing a simple orange dress that flowed to her feet. She was only wearing a light jacket in which Luigi offered to take off for her at once after closing the door behind.

"Please, you're treating me like a princess, Lou," she remarked as she allowed him to take off the small jacket from her arms.

"Well, that is-a what you are, isn't it?"

Daisy's cheeks turned even a brighter shade of red, fishing for some words to say, "Well, I, uh..heh heh…fine, I don't mind if you do."

"But even if you weren't royalty, I'd still treat you as if you were," Luigi then led her from the parlor to the dining room, the flower princess on cloud nine.

When entering the fine space, the table was already set, the candles lit, and the aroma of the food prepared was mouth-watering. Not to mention the fact that he made the food by himself with precision.

"Pasta?"

"The best!"

"It smells great," by this point, Daisy was a bit overwhelmed, but at the same time charmed.

After the couple sat down at the table, it was definitely more talking than eating. Twisting one noodle at a time and gazing into eachother's eyes..

"Y'know…" Daisy started, "After this we can go to your bedroom…"

Luigi put down his fork , "And do what?"

Daisy raised an eyebrow, "To watch TV?" then she smirked, "But if you were thinking different.."

"Oh, right..heh heh.." Luigi mentally facepalmed as Daisy chuckled, turning the tables in her favor.

"Anyways..thanks for having me over, Lou. I was beginning to think that—"

"You would spend this day by yourself or with a bunch of other people?" Luigi filled in.

"Erm, yeah.."

"Don't worry," Luigi assured, "This day is only going to consist of you and me only—"

As soon as the green-clad man was getting his sentence out, promising Daisy a day with just the two of them, the door-bell rang.

"…One moment, Princess."

Luigi got up from his seat and literally sprint to the door, trying not to keep her waiting long. Peering through the peephole, he caught a glimpse of a light blue dress and curls of blonde hair standing at the door.

"Rosalina?" Luigi asked as he opened the door, stepping out onto the porch.

Rosalina raised her head, "Hi, Luigi…"

"…Hi, but I never thought that you would leave the observatory around this time of—"

"Are you alone?" Rosalina asked hesitantly.

"….no, I'm actually with—"

"Who are you with?"

"…I'm with Princess Daisy right now—"

"Why?" Rosalina looked at Luigi with content.

"…Because—"

"Goodbye, Luigi."

"Goodbye?"

Rosalina spun on her heel ,walked off, and then teleported away to who-knows-where. For a second or two, Luigi stood there awkwardly wondering why the hell the cosmo princess showed up at the mansion, interrogated him, and then left. Shrugging, Luigi turned and went back inside, shutting the door behind.

"Who was that?" Daisy looked up at Luigi who was still confused.

"That was actually Princess Rosalina—"

"Rose?"

Luigi scratched the back of his head, "Yeah, she seemed upset about something."

"Oh.."

After that unexpected interruption, Luigi sat back down and both proceeded in eating, carrying on a conversation that consisted of Daisy listening to him talk, and a ton more awkwardness and fluffiness that shouldn't be explained in this sappy story you're reading.

"…considering of which, aren't we all taking a vacation to Isle Delfino?"

"That's what the plan is. A nice hotel on the beach where all of the royals stay. Mario and Princess Peach can get a room to themselves and we can get—"

In the middle of Luigi's sentence, the doorbell rang again. Daisy looked up at Luigi, frowning.

Luigi looked back at Daisy.

Daisy looked back at Luigi.

Luigi looked back at Daisy, slightly irritated.

Daisy rolled her eyes and said: "You can go get it."

Luigi got back up from the table and then walked to the door, wondering who it would be this time.

When the slightly irritated plumber opened the door, the first thing he saw was a bunch of flowers. Like, one of those bouquets that get sent to your door? But behind the extravagant display of flowers, the green being holding it was wearing a red cape with a white tunic in which I cannot explain properly within this context, white shoes, and a sword at his hip.

"HI, LUIGI!"

Luigi's eyes widened. It couldn't be—no! After he met this guy, everyone questioned his path in life! The whole thing with Fawful and that Cackletta witch, the BeanBean kingdom! This was none other than—

"Hi, Prince Peasly.."

Prince Peasly, the beanish prince of the BeanBean Kingdom, moved the bouquet of flowers from his face, exposing the shiny golden blonde hair on his head (that for some weird reason he cherished so). Luigi and Peasly had been friends, but after a few uncalled for situations (and advancements coming from the supposed flamboyant prince,) Luigi tried to keep his distance to keep his dignity intact. As if being presented with a rose wasn't enough.

"I was just, like, in the kingdom and stuff..aaand since it's, like, Valentine's Day, I wanted to give you this!" Prince Peasly shoved the bouquet of flowers into Luigi's face..which had a note attached to it:

To my bestest most totally awesomenest friend in the entire world! Stay beautiful, Weegee! Come and visit the kingdom sometime, kay? Oh, and HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!11one1!eleven!11!1

~Prince Peasly

The beanish prince grinned, flashing his well-known smile that nearly blinded a sickened Luigi who immediately covered his eyes.

"Uh, thanks, Peasly—"

"Hey, can I, like, come inside..or can we, like, meet up—"

Luigi slammed the door in his face.

Peasly stood there at the door "…ALRIGHT! I'LL SEE YOU TONIGHT! AT SEVEN! KAY? GREAT!"

"Who was that?"

"Oh!" Luigi took the bouquet of flowers that Prince Peasly gave him, plucked the note out of it, and presented it to Daisy, "That was just the, uh..flower..company. Yep."

"Aww, Weegee!" Daisy squealed, "They're beautiful!"

Luigi sighed in relief, "Hopefully that's it for today. Maybe we should go out so no one will bother us—"

"Or go upstairs?"

"..that too…"

Daisy smiled, "I'm done with the food. We can go up there now if ya want or we can go on the couch—"

The telephone rang.

Luigi facepalmed.

Daisy sighed, "I'll be upstairs, alright?"

Luigi nodded as he watched the princess stand up and walk into the hallway. He reached for the house phone on the wall, first taking notice that the caller-ID was unknown.

"Luigi Mario residence, Luigi speaking—"

"Hush, you!..no, no..ssh! It's him!"

"?" a look of confusion appeared on his face…since, well, he could've sworn he heard a bunch of squealing girls in the backround. No, like a bunch of hyper-active preteen or young teenage girls at a sleepover kind of squealing.

"Is—shut up! Is this, ah, Luigi—No, no. Is your brother-shaddap! That's a friggen stupid question!"

"Says you!"

"."

"I WANNA TALK TO HIM!"

Luigi continued to hear the argument from the phone, part of him said to hang up, but the other part said to ask again, "…Hello?"

"NO, I WANT TO TALK TO HIM—Oh, hai! So this is Mario's brother, right?"

"…uh—"

"OH EM GEE! Hai, so I'm SERIOUSLY TALKING TO YOU! OH MY GOD. I AM LIKE YOUR BIGGEST FAN—"

"No, I am, dummeh!"

"SHADDAP!"

"…Is this a prank call?" Luigi asked sheepishly.

"Oh-hehe! Sorry, um, that was just my spazzy friend! But I just wanted to say—"

"I LOVE YOU!"

"GIMME BACK THE PHONE!"

Immediately, Luigi pulled the phone away from his ear, cringing, and hung it up before he suffered from ear damage. Before he even got a break, the doorbell rang yet again. And again. And again—someone was repeatedly pushing the doorbell, alright? Got my point across. Phew.

"LUIGI, IT'S PRINCESS PEACH! OPEN UP—GO AWAY, BIRDO!"

When the plumber was about to go to the door for the….fourth time in this story, the door burst wide open. Strolling in came Princess Peach and Birdo, the female dinosaur that's actually a transsexual in Japan.

"Hey, Lou! I just wanted to stop over and-"

"How did you get in?"

"I'm the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. I can do whatever I want as long as it doesn't consist of me doing wrong. That's why I got Birdo here to kick open the door because you were taking too long." Peach said innocently, closing her parasol.

Birdo waved at Luigi who was standing there, disbelief written all over his face.

"Sooo….what're you doing here alone on this fine Valentine's Day?"

"Princess Peach..Daisy told me that you were with Mario…?"

"Yeah! I was, then I decided to stop by here." The pink-clad princess said nonchalantly.

"What she said." Birdo pointed at Princess Peach.

"..you were with Mario too—"

"Yoshi, actually, but then he got all boring and crap so I came with Peach." Birdo shrugged.

Luigi sighed, "Peach..I'm actually in the middle of—"

"Doing something? Oh, alright! Sorry, but I'm coming back over tonight!"

"…wait, what—WHY?"

"Bye, Luigi!" Peach said over her shoulder ignoring Luigi's interrogative interjections. When Peach left and shut the door behind her, Birdo just stood there, looking around.

"….are—"

"FINE, I'M GOING, GOSH." Birdo stormed out the door and slammed it behind her.

Daisy was sitting idle in the room for quite some time after the phone rang. To pass the time, she started rummaging through Luigi's drawers (..no. Not underwear, dang it) ..but then that got all boring so, she looked through the small bookcase he kept in there.

"…Super Luigi Series?" Daisy pulled out a green book from the bookcase from a set of five. Sitting down on the bed, she was immediately intrigued by the tales the book held about her green-clad lover. And with the time she had, she was able to get to Book Three.

Then…a really startling sentence caught her eye.

"LUIGI!"

As if on cue, Luigi burst through the door, "Daisy, I—"

"Who in the world is Princess Éclair?"

A/N: Haha! Witness my fail attempt at humor! 8D

So..anything I need to explain here, Mega? And reader? Yeah, I had a bunch of fun with this one X)

Awesome! I threw in a PM:TTYD reference! I am pleased with myself! Now, go. There's nothing to see here. NOTHING.

Edit: If you're wondering if I won or not? I didn't. :P *moonwalks out of the Mario Forum*
