Half and Half

Chapter One, Not so good suspicions

So far the preparations for Lacey and Clint's wedding were going perfect. Everything was ready and in place and all that needed to be done was for it to happen. Up until Bruce and Leah came home from their honey moon the mansion had been split in half. Boys vs. girls. For some reason, the couples were fighting each other and it had gotten to the point where they couldn't even be in the same room for more than five minutes but the only people not fighting were T'Challa and Thor.

So one sonny Wednesday afternoon the two older boys decided to investigate the problem starting with the girls. Since they knew they were all having the game off in the Foyer they began there and knocked lightly on the door. Jan was the first to answer followed closely behind by Alison.

"Oh hey guys it's just you." Jan said stepping back as Lucy stepped forward followed by her half sisters.

"So what did you want to ask us anyway?" Lucy questioned putting her hands on her hips as the other girls shadowed her move from wherever they stood in the Foyer.

They both shared concerned looks before Thor finally answered," T'Challa and I wished to know if you were truly alright."

Lucy sighed rolling her eyes," Like I've told people a million times, I'm a telepath not an idiot which means I know what you're thinking and I know you're not telling us the truth."

The boys shared a look again and T'Challa sighed," Actually we did want to talk to you about something. Or is that against the law too?"

Lacey rolled her eyes," Come in."
