A slap. Crack across my face.
A punch. Blow across my stomach.
A kick. Guts pushed together.
"You are such a bitch, nobody would want you."
The slap, punch and kick all over again.
Stand. The only way to survive.
Tears. Trickling down my cheek.
Bruises. Where weren't they?
He cocked his gun filled it with bullets, an easy access as he was Chief of Police.
"He doesn't love you go phone him," he started sharpening a knife; his moustache brushing up and down his face.
I ran away. Hoping one day I could escape all this.
Mobile. Pulled up as fast I could it was gift from him.
Number. On speed dial it always helped so much.
Ringtone. Beeping constantly.
He picked up finally. It was hard to hear him over the beat of the music.
"Eddie, you arms are so strong...mmm I love them."
That wasn't his voice it was another girl. He had moved on.
"I love you," I whispered not caring if he didn't hear me; I switched off my phone.
Tears. Stopped running down my face.
Heart. Broken - who cared?
Me. Dead from the sleeping pills and the knife.
