Gordon and the Na'vi

Part 1

A/N: This is a revisioning of my first story, but it will be the same story made earlier, it will be changing the style that was previously used for this story but most of the wording will remain the same as before except for few additions and editing of grammar and wording like it is in my other story "Emily and Edward". Some of this layout and design is the same as my FanFiction friend "magical fan18" and have been given permission by him to use this style.

Jake Sully (Na'vi version and Mated with Neytiri)

Neytiri (Mated with Jake Sully)

Grace Augustine (Consciousness has been transferred to her Avatar and currently living permanently in her Avatar body, she is also the clan's teacher) is alive in this story for those who will be confused later in the fic.

YMN(You Must Know): The 2 characters above will be changed slightly so please do not complain about it. Also another idea from a Thomas and Friends Movie will be used in this chapter so watch out for it and try and guess which one it is from by reviewing this fic.

Chapter 1 Gordon's Disappearance.

One afternoon, Gordon the Big Blue Engine was returning to Sodor after an engine check up and repairs at Doncaster Works. "I feel good as new, but I'd like to come home back to my shed and pull the express" Gordon thought to himself. Gordon continued this journey back to Sodor, unaware that he was going to be gone forever from his homeland by an unusual set of buffers that will send him to a completely different world.

After a few hours of traveling back from Doncaster Works to Sodor he passed thorough Barrow station and knew where he was "Barrow Station, I'm not that far from Vicarstown" Gordon said to himself in thought as he was wondering where he was. Closer and closer he came to Vicarstown, when a set of unknown points came ahead of him and this would have made him curious but Gordon went onto those tracks without knowing that he had went onto those tracks but soon is thinking "That's odd I don't know where this leads" Gordon said to himself feeling curious about where he was going.

As Gordon continued down the unknown track, he saw the buffers "This can't be happening to me" he said to himself in thought, shocked at what had happened to him. He put on his brakes on hard and shut his eyes waiting for the crash to come but none came and as he opened his eyes and came to a stop, then he noticed that he was inside a large green and bright blue colored tunnel and he can see a glowing gold light at the end of the tunnel which made him more shocked but still curious as above the glowing exit there was Dark Blue writing saying:

"The path to the blue fluted clan lies in Pandora"

Confused over this strange sentence he took a deep puff and said to himself "Well here goes nothing" so as to calm his confusion and he sped on towards and through the strangely lit tunnel exit. After he went through it he was shocked at what he saw, surrounding him was a large but strange tropical jungle with weird and large plants and trees with some of them as big as him and when Gordon looked below him he saw that a glowing track was below him which made him hover a bit above the ground about some inches off the jungle like ground.

Testing this strange track he saw that it appeared in front of him the more he moved forward then he thought to himself "I've appeared to be on this place which I guessing is Pandora, but its too dark and I can't see anything" Gordon came to stop and looked around "I must be in a forest on Pandora at night, but at least I can see tracks appearing in front of me" he said to himself. What he didn"t know that he was soon to meet the places inhabitants which would change his life forever.

Chapter 2 First Contact.

Because Gordon was too busy thinking about his surroundings, he forgot to stay quiet and it wasn't long that the Omaticaya Clan leader Eytukan began to hear strange noises. ""uo lu fitsenge"(Something is here) he said to himself wondering what was that hissing noise coming from. Jake heard this, so he asked Eytukan "tsengpe?" (Where?) Jake asked ""uo lu kasatseng. Ting mikyun"(Something is out there. Listen) Eytukan said to Jake about the noise. Both of them listened to the hssing noise come from the enterance of the Hometree. Eytukan decided that it need to be investigated, but a thought came to him "tuteo zene kame upe lu kasatseng" (Someone must see what is out there) he said to himself. Neytiri heard all of this, so she grabbed her bow and arrow and went to investigate the noise. Eytukan saw Neytiri walking by holding her bow and arrow, so he asked Neytiri what she was doing. "Ma Neytiri Kempe si nga?" (What are you doing, Neytiri?) Eytukan asked. "Oe newomum upe lu kasatseng" (I want to know what is out there) she said."Za"u fa oe, Jake" (Come with me, Jake) she said to her beloved mate "hino tsakrr, Neytiri" (Fine then, Neytiri) Jake said.

This made Neytiri look amused at Jake's laziness, but she turned back toward Jake and teased him "What is the matter Jake? Scared of leaving?" she teased. Jake felt the sense of defeat "Oh alright, you got me" he said "Kateng Neytiri" (Spend time with Neytiri) Eytukan said. "Srane sempel" (Yes father) Jake said. Jake went to get his bow and arrow and he went to Neytiri to investigate the strange noise that Eytukan was suspicious about. As Jake and Neytiri left Hometree, the hissing noise nearer and nearer as they stayed hiden behind the bushes and trees. After few moment later, Neytiri and Jake were hiding a few yards from hissing noise. Neytiri crawled quietly out of hiding then she was shocked to see a big blue object that she has never seen before. "What is that? I"ve never seen this before I must tell Jake about his" she whispered to herself. Gordon was unaware of that he was being watched by the jungle's inhabitants which is know as the "Na'vi".

Neytiri was furious about this but Jake didn't understand "Why are you furious about this stranger?" said Jake "Its what I do, why?" said Neytiri "Just asking that's all" said Jake "Enough talk, get ready" said Neytiri "Sure" said Jake. Jake and Neytiri armed their bow and arrow to stop the stranger. Still unaware of this fate, Gordon decides to move on "It looks creepy out here, but I will find somewhere to sleep for the night" said Gordon about his plan. As Gordon started move, Jake and Neytiri jump out of their hiding place and stop him. Gordon got the fright of his life which caused Jake to jump backwards slightly as Gordon moved backwards from his original position.

Gordon looked at the two humanoid like beings who were surprisingly blue skinned and amber eyed like a cat's and they were a little taller than normal human's about 10 foot tall (A/N: 3 meters), their was a tense silence between the three until Neytiri spoke "Lu fnu si si ke rikx!" (Be quiet and do not move!) Neytiri said to the unknown object. Jake look at the unusual object with a face, he didn"t know what it was "Peu fì"u?"(What is this?) Jake asked Neytiri. Neytiri thought hard, but no came to her mind about his unknown object with a face, she said Jake "Tsawl ean txur ioang, oe fpìl" (A big blue strong beast, I think) "Oe tslam tsau, slä pelun fì"u tsawl ean ioang?" (I understand that, but why this big blue beast?) Jake said Neytiri. "Oe ka omum Jake, sla txìng fì"u ne oe" (I don't know Jake but leave this to me) Neytiri said Jake. Jake was suprised at this, but he asked Neytiri "Si nga omum peu ne si hu fì"u?" (Do you know what to do with this thing?) "Srane" (Yes) Neytiri said Jake in reply.

Neytiri walked towards the unknown object and said in clear English "Who are you?" to the unknown object. Gordon took a deep puff and said "My name is Gordon the Big Blue Engine, I'm the number 4 blue engine of Sodor" Jake was suprised and he thought to himself "I'm sure Grace will like this" he pondered about the professor"s reaction to a big talking blue engine. "What type of engine are you?" Jake asks Gordon "I'm an A0 Pacific experimental prototype express 4-6-2 tender steam engine" Gordon said proudly. Neytiri was stunned at this, she had never seen a tender steam engine before in her life also she liked Gordon's colours "What color this that?" Neytiri asked "NWR red-and-yellow lining and the number "4" painted on my tender sides in yellow, take a look for yourself" Gordon said. Neytiri and Jake had a good long look around Gordon and after they discus about what to do with Gordon.

"He looks so grand and very strong" said Jake "Yes he does, but I don't know what will Eytukan will say?" said Neytiri "You may have a point, we must decide where ever to take him or release him" said Jake "Let's think for a moment" said Neytiri. Jake and Neytiri have a long think then they make their decision until Neytiri spoke to the blue engine in English to allow him to understand "Gordon, you are coming with us to be decided by the clan leader" said Neytiri to which the large engine replied groaning to himself "Oh, the Indignity" said Gordon as he followed Jake and Neytiri to their home where he would be soon decided by the leader of the Omaticaya Clan his fate.

Chapter 3 Newcomer

Gordon follows Jake and Neytiri as they walked into there home, but when they entered the whole clan watched as Jake and Neytiri bought in a big blue unknown object which was moving on glowing tracks. Eytukan was talking to Tsu'tey when he looked he was gobsmacked while Grace was standing near by, she was suprised and knew what it was she was looking at "How did Gordon get here and what is he doing here?" Grace said to herself in amazement that Jake and Neytiri have found something big and blue.

"Sempul oel ngati kameie" (Father, I see you) Neytiri greeting her father "Oel ngati kameie ite" (I see you daughter) Eytukan greeting Neytiri. Eytukan then looked at the unknown object that Jake and Neytiri had brought in and he has never seen before so he asked Neytiri "Peu fì"u?" (What is this?) Neytiri tried hard to remember what Gordon had said, but all she can come up with was "ii..."ue...stxong...fa fngap" (Um...something...strange...with metal) Neytiri said with her thoughts on the unknown object. Eytukan didn"t know what to think about the strange object with metal with steam hissing out of its cylinders then a thought came to him about the unknown object "Tsat apxa swirä nìtam" (It is a large creature enough) Eytukan said to himself about the large metal creature "Oe tsun mllte hu tsa"u" (I can agree with that) Tsu'tey said as walked towards Eytukan and over heard everything.

Before Eytukan or Tsu'tey can say anything. Mo'at came down the central wooden spiral of Hometree were she saw what was happening which was startling for her as she cautiously walked towards the massive engine "Lonu fì"u apxa swirä. kllkxem ne"ìm." (Release this large creature. Stand Back.) she said loudly to the clan. Gordon gasped and couldn"t believe what was happening to him now as he began to feel fear at his fate which seemed to be decided by the elder female humaniod in front of him. "That's Mo'at, she is the Tsahik" Neytiri whispered to Gordon as Mo'at walked passed Neytiri. Gordon said nothing, Mo'at examined the strange metal creature and asked for his name and purpose of his presence. "What are you called?" she asked "Gordon the Big Blue Engine" Gordon reply back "Why did you come to us?" Mo'at asked why is he is here. Gordon thought hard he was never asked this sort of question before, but all he said "I was teleported here by something, but I came here to learn" Gordon said nervously.

"How can we learn an engine within the Na'vi?" Grace asked as she walked towards Mo'at and also heard everything "I'm not sure, but this engine will have to learn our ways" said Mo'at "How are we going to do it?" Grace asked again "Wait and see" Mo'at said. Grace went to look at the engine and Mo'at asks Gordon "What are you?" she said "I'm an A0 Pacific experimental prototype express 4-6-2 tender steam engine" Gordon said explain what he is. Grace walked up to Gordon and asked "How are you moving around without any rails layed down?" she asked in confusion. Gordon grinned and said "I'm using something called glowing tracks that appear in front of me as I move on and I can go anywhere" Gordon said to Grace explaining how he moves. Grace looked at Gordon's wheels and she sees the glowing tracks under his wheels.

""upe sweylu kem si fa lonu?" (What should do with him?) Tsu'tey asked Eytukan about what to do with Gordon. Eytukan thought for a moment and then he made his decision "Fì"u "awve fngap swirä ayoeng a tsole"a aywoengìl. Ayoeng kin ne nume nì"ul teri zamunge." (This is the first metal creature we have seen. We need to learn more about him.) Eytukan said to the clan about his decision to keep Gordon "Ma "ite, awngeyä fya"ori ziri nga sänume sivi poru fya si kar na ayoeng si" (My daughter, you will learn him our way and teach as we do) Mo'at said to Neytiri ordering her to learn Gordon about the Na'vi "Oeru pelun? Ke lu muiä" (Why me? That's not fair) Neytiri complained "Fkol pole"un fì"ut" (It is decided) Mo'at conceded "Wiya!" (Dammit!) Neytiri said with anger that she reluctantly obeys to the command. "Nya tspìmìyang ne nume si kar Gordon na nìltsan" (You are going to learn and teach Gordon as well) Mo'at said to Jake to help Neytiri learn and teach Gordon "Tolel" (I understand) Jake said as he obeys the command. "Jake and Neytiri will teach you our ways learn well, Gordon then we will see if your insanity can be cured" Mo'at said to Gordon upon his introduction to the Omaticaya clan. Gordon knows now that the humanoids are called the "Na'vi" and they didn"t have a choice of what to do with him, but his learning of the Na'vi will began tomorrow morning.

There was an Evening Gathering waiting for Gordon so he can explain about him and get to know the Na'vi. Gordon wanted to talk to Na'vi so he took a deep puff and asked "What is your name?" he said to a female Na'vi "Neytiri te Tskaha Mo'at'ite" the female Na'vi said inducing to herself to Gordon. "Neytiri" Gordon said to recognize her name. A male Na'vi looked at Gordon and said "My name is Jakesully, but the clan call me Jake" Jake inducing himself to Gordon. While Gordon was talking and getting use to the Na'vi people.

Eytukan, Tsu'tey and Mo'at were talking about Gordon. "I never seen a metal creature that talks, but from its big size I think he is big, strong and fast like an Thanator" said Tsu'tey "I have a point there, but he is only a tender steam engine and I"ve been noticing that Grace might know this engine I might talk to her tomorrow while Gordon is away," said Eytukan "I think I know were Gordon can sleep, there is an abandoned cave near us were an Thanator lived in, but now its empty. said Mo'at. "I was looking inside it yesterday and it seems big and long enough for Gordon to sleep and live there" said Tsu'tey. The three of them continued to talk about Gordon. After a while, Eytukan had to accept that Gordon would be really useful for the clan and that abandoned cave would be where Gordon will live and sleep in it.

Eytukan got up onto his feet, went to Gordon and told him "We have an abandoned cave for you to live and sleep in until you become "The First Engine" and be one of us. Follow me" Eytukan said to Gordon about his new home. Gordon said nothing as he followed Eytukan to the cave. They arrive at the abandoned cave and it was just big enough for Gordon to sleep and live in. "Eytukan, did something use to sleep here?" Gordon asked about the cave "Yes, but don't worry I checked it yesterday and its completely empty, this is were you will live and sleep in" Eytukan said to Gordon about the cave "Well OK" said Gordon "Now get a goodnight sleep you will be busy tomorrow" Eytukan said to Gordon. "Yes, Clan Leader" Gordon said in tried way.

Eytukan walked back to Hometree to get clan rested for the night. Gordon wondered if the glowing tracks can turn him around so he is facing the right way to back into the cave so using his mind he said to the glowing tracks "If you can turn me 180c to left so I can back into the cave and go to sleep" he said in his mind, then he felt himself spinning slowly to the left and after a few minutes he was facing the right way and he backed to the cave and relies that he had the ability to control the glowing track by the power of his mind and he said to himself "I can control the glowing track by my mind and I can go and do anything with them" Gordon was pleased about his. He closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Chapter 4 Gordon learns Na'vi

Next morning, Jake and Neytiri went to get Gordon to they can start learning and teaching him about the Na'vi, but when they arrive Gordon was still asleep, so Neytiri decided to wake up Gordon slowly. "Gordon, wake up" Neytiri said in her normal voice she tried a few times, then Gordon wakes up and said "Oh, the Indignity" in a tried voice before yawning "Na'vi life starts early, you need to get used to it" Jake explained "Oh, alright" Gordon grumbled "Eytukan needs to see you. Follow me" said Neytiri. Gordon said nothing he just sighed as he followed Neytiri to see Eytukan.

After they arrived, Eytukan briefed Gordon about today "Neytiri will teach and learn you about Na'vi language and speaking it, then Jake will teach you the basics of hunting. It will take some time until you have learned it" said Eytukan "Yes Clan leader, I understand" said Gordon "Please wait for Neytiri until she is ready" said Eytukan "Understood" said Gordon. "How are you going to turnaround?" said Grace "I have an ability to command my glowing track from the power from my mind" said Gordon. Grace was surprised at this Eytukan had never heard something like that before "Can you really do that?" said Eytukan stunned at Gordon's ability "Yes, I discovered it last night when you left me" said Gordon "Show me" said Eytukan "Glowing tracks I order you to turn me around by 180c slowly to the right" he said in his mind.

Gordon started to turn slowly to the right about facing out to the opening of the Pandora forest. Eytukan and Grace watched Gordon turning around, as Gordon half way round Neytiri arrived and she stunned at watch she is seen. After a while, Gordon was facing the right way and Eytukan was impressed "So you can go anywhere with your glowing tracks by your mind?" said Eytukan "Yes I can" said Gordon "Not really, I saw it too" said Neytiri as walked to Gordon's Cab "Just be careful with that ability you've got" said Eytukan "don't worry I will" said Gordon "Come on Gordon, let get you some learning and teaching about speaking Na'vi" said Neytiri "Yeah sure" said Gordon. As Gordon started to puff away Eytukan stopped them "Stop Gordon" said Eytukan, Gordon came to stop and wondered what Eytukan wanted "What"s the matter?" Gordon asked Eytukan "I forgot can to tell us about your glowing tracks ability?" said Eytukan "Well I don't know much about it, but I will try my best" said Gordon "OK then, you can go now and good luck" said Eytukan "Thanks and see you later" said Gordon. Gordon blew his whistle and puffed away to learn Na'vi from Neytiri.

Eytukan watched Gordon disappear when he curved to the left. Eytukan turned his back to Grace "Why are you looked at me like that?" said Grace "I've been hearing that you have knowledge and understanding about Gordon the Big Blue Engine, is this true?" said Eytukan "Yes its true, but I can explain this mess and I don't know how he got here, but I will ask him by the end of the day" said Grace "Good idea, just tell me, Tsu'tey and Mo'at much as you can about Gordon, your not in trouble I just what to know" said Eytukan "Alright then" said Grace. While Grace was explaining to the leaders about Gordon much as she can.

Meanwhile outside the Pandora forest not far from Hometree, Neytiri was teaching and learning Gordon how to speak Na'vi "To say Hello in Na'vi say this "Kaltxi" said Neytiri "Kaltxi" (Hello) said Gordon "Now say "Fyape nga"" said Neytiri "Fyape nga?" (How are you?) said Gordon "Now put it all together" said Neytiri "Kaltxi Neytiri, fyape nga?" (Hello Neytiri. how are you?) said Gordon "Excellent and well remembered Gordon, but it will take some time for you learn it all" said Neytiri "I understand" said Gordon. Neytiri continued learning Gordon for a while.

Back at Hometree, Grace had finished explain about Gordon the Big Blue Engine to the Eytukan, Tsu'tey and Mo'at. "So Gordon isn"t a complete stranger at tall" said Eytukan "He is just a tender steam engine, but stronger and faster than an Thanator" said Tsu'tey "He may be fearless, how did he get here?" Mo'at "I already told you that I don't know" said Grace "I'm sure you will find out" said Eytukan. Before they can anything else, they heard a whistle "Its Gordon. He back with Neytiri" said Grace "I need to see how well he knows Na'vi" said Eytukan, he came down the central wooden spiral of Hometree and went to see Gordon. "Kaltxi" (Hello) said Eytukan to Gordon "Kaltxi Eytukan, fyape nga?" (Hello Eytukan, how are you?) said Gordon "Hino, irayo" (Fine, thank you) said Eytukan "Sempul oel ngati kameie" (Father, I see you) Neytiri greeting her father "Oel ngati kameie "ite" (I see you daughter) Eytukan greeting Neytiri "Fyape lu Gordon tspìmìyang?" (How is Gordon doing?) Eytukan asked Neytiri about Gordon's progress of speaking Na'vi "Fyape lu tspìmìyang nawm" (He is doing great) said Neytiri "Seysoniltsan Gordon" (Well done Gordon) said Eytukan "Irayo olo"eyktan, sla peseng lu Jake?" (Thanks Clan Leader, but where is Jake?) said Gordon "Oe kem si ke omum peseng po lu" (I do not know where he is) said Eytukan "Ka ulte run zamunge" (Go and find him, Neytiri) said Eytukan "Srane sempul" (Yes father) said Neytiri in return with a bow, she then runs off to find Jake"s whereabouts wondering to herself what her mate has gotten himself into this time and hoping it is not something stupid.

She didn"t have far to look, she found Jake resting in the sun at the front of Hometree "My Jake resting in the sun" she thinks to herself "I might play on a joke on him to wake him up, I'm sure this one will stop his lazyness once and for all" Neytiri grew excited about the possible joke on Jake as Neytiri as she slowly creeps up behind Jake"s head and lowers her mouth to Jake"s right ear and begins softly whispering "Jake, Jake" she repeats as she could see Jake beginning to stir awake but is still sleeping so with a large grin on her face she takes a deep breath and bellows "WAKE UP" which the effect was immediate as Jake sprung upwards very startled and scared as he lands on the ground face down as after moment or two he lifts himself up slightly and looks at a highly amused Neytiri while he grumbles to her "Why did you have to do that for?" trying to get up again after falling and after standing Neytiri replies cheekily "Cause it's fun" but then she remembers what she came here for "Gordon is waiting for you" said Neytiri "Oh, I forgot about that" said Jake. "You better hurry" said Neytiri. Jake hurred away to get his bow and arrow and rushed to Gordon so he can teach him the basics of hunting.

"Sorry I'm late, Gordon" said Jake getting his beath back "That's alright" said Gordon "I going to be teaching to the basics of hunting" said Jake "I know that, just climb into my cab so we can be off" said Gordon "Aright away" said Jake. Jake hurred into Gordon's cab, but he onboard he noticed a problem "How are going to turn around to face the right way?" said Jake "don't worry, I have an ability to command my glowing track to turn me around by my mind" said Gordon "What?" said Jake in suprise "Just watch me" said Gordon. "Glowing tracks I order you to turn me around by 180c to the left but a little bit faster" Gordon said in this mind to command his glowing tracks. Gordon felt himself spinning a little bit faster on his glowing tracks, after a moment he was facing the right way. Jake was stunned at Gordon's abitily "How did you do that?" said Jake "By the power of my mind and I can go anywhere with my glowing tracks" said Gordon "Can you get a move on, please" said Eytukan "Yes Clan Leader" said Gordon "Come on, Gordon" said Jake. Gordon blew his whistle and puffed away to learn the basics of hunting with Jake, Neytiri watch Gordon disappeared as he curved to the left. "So what was Jake doing when you found him?" said Eytukan. Neytiri chuckled and she explained what she done to Jake. When she finished, Eytukan laughed and said "That was funny, that will serve him right about his lazyness" he said "I'm sure he will learn a lession" said Neytiri "I agree with that" said Eytukan. Neytiri and Eytukan returned to there normal duties for the rest of the day.

It was mid-evening when Gordon and Jake returned to Hometree. "So Jake, how did Gordon get on?" said Eytukan "He did great today and also his glowing tracks abilty was amazing" said Jake "That's good and I'm very pleased with you Gordon" said Eytukan "Thank you, Eytukan" said Gordon "I can see that you don't tire out" said Eytukan "I like to be busy all the time" said Gordon "Good, we someone like you that don't tire out easily" said Eytukan "Really?" said Gordon "Yes" said Eytukan, just then Grace walked up to Gordon "Hello Gordon, I"ve been watching you" said Grace "Why? What I have done?" said Gordon he was suprised "I heard all about you when I was a human before I came to Pandora and I explained all about you when you left with Neytiri" said Grace "What? You heard about me and explained it?" said Gordon still suprised "Yes it's true, I had to explain so that Eytukan, Tsu'tey and Mo'at so they can know you better" said Grace "Well, That's alright" said Gordon "I wanted to ask you this, how did you get here?" said Grace "Well its a long story" said Gordon "That doesn't matter, it part of learning and understand about you" said Eytukan "Well alright then" said Gordon.

The Omaticaya clan sit down and listen to Gordon's story. When he finished, Eytukan was stunned "Wow, that is one heck of a story" he said "You went thought all of that without been scared?" said Mo'at "Yes, I have no fear about things, I hope that will help you Grace" said Gordon "Yes it did" said Grace "Gordon, we understand all about you, I think you are a really useful engine in this clan and you will be one of us and known as "The First Engine" said Eytukan "Oh, thank you Eytukan" said Gordon "You can rest for night you have done well" said Eytukan "Thanks" said Gordon. The Omaticaya clan returned to their normal duties until it was time to rest for the night. After sometime, most of the clan were asleep and Neytiri was walking with Gordon to his cave "I'm proud of you" said Neytiri "I gald about it" said Gordon. They arrived at the cave and then Gordon command the glowing tracks to turn him around, after about 2 minutes he was in the cave. "Well, goodnight Neytiri" said Gordon in a tried voice before yawning "Goodnight to you" said Neytiri. Neytiri walked back to Hometree to sleep for the night and Gordon backed further into cave until his tender buffers hit the back of the cave softly then he closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Chapter 5 Gordon and the Thanator

(A/N: This chapter takes place 2 months later in this story after Gordon arrived on Pandora. Also Gordon will become 'The First Engine' in 5 days)

One sunny afternoon, Jake was showing Gordon the Big Blue Engine the sites of Pandora. Gordon was seen things that he never seen before and he was having a great time "Pandora is a nice place to be" said Gordon "I agree with that" said Jake "You have passed everything that me and Neytiri have teached you" said Jake "Become 'The First Engine' in the clan I can't wait" said Gordon "Well the ceremony is in 5 days time you have long to wait" said Jake. As Gordon and Jake continue their site seen, they are unaware that an Thanator is going to chase them.

Jake and Gordon are enjoying there piece and quiet, but it wasn't long when they heard a loud roar, this makes Gordon stops and Jake looks out from his cab, but he can't see it but he can hear noises. "What was that?" Gordon asked about the roaring nosie "Keep quiet, I think a big creature is nearby" Jake whispered "Sorry" whispered Gordon. They remain still and quiet for moment, then Jake came with a plan "Puff slowly and quietly as you can" said Jake still whispering Gordon said nothing he followed Jake's orders and puffed quietly then moving slowly. Gordon puff slowly and quietly as he can, then Jake looks behind and sees a Thanator behind them "Tul Gordon Tul! Palulukan im nga!" (Run Gordon Run! Thanator behind you!) said Jake he was stocked "Palulukan!" (Thanator!) Gordon said in a loud voice. Gordon started with a flash and he was puffing hard as he can to escape the Thanator. The Thanator roars and gives catch to Gordon and Jake.

Gordon's pistons powed and pumped as fast they could, the glowing tracks are still under his wheels. The Thanator was coming close to Gordon's Tender "Go faster, it almost touching your tender" said Jake "I'll show that Thanator that I'm the fastest steam engine on Pandora" Gordon said to himself proofing that he was the fastest then anything on Pandora. Gordon managed to go more faster and far enough to avoid the Thanator from knocking off his tender off the glowing tracks. "You did it Gordon, now use your mind to command the glowing to return to Hometree" said Jake "Don't worry I've already planned an escape route to return back to Hometree" said Gordon "Use it then" said Jake "Hold on" said Gordon.

Using the power of his mind and the glowing tracks, Gordon managed to find the return route back to Hometree, Gordon was now at the same speed as the Thanator. "Does Thanators give up?" asked Gordon about Thanators "No, they run for sometime until they are tried out" said Jake "Oh, the Indignity" said Gordon "Never mind that, just find more speed and puff" said Jake "I'm trying my best" said Gordon. Because Gordon and Jake where busy trying to outrun the Thanator, they didn't see that Neytiri on her banshee Seze was watching the chase from above. "Gordon and Jake are in danger and that Thanator isn't giving up, I must report this back to Eytukan and get help" Neytiri said to herself about Gordon and Jake been chased by a Thanator. Neytiri flew her banshee back to Hometree quickly as Seze can go to rasie the alarm.

After a few minutes later, Neytiri lands safe with her banshee at Hometree, she hurries and then speaks to Eytukan about Gordon and Jake been chased by a Thanator "Sempul, fmawm Rutxe tìng mikyun" (Father, something to report, please listen) said Neytiri in panic about the danger "Mawey kllte 'ite, plltxe ne oe" (Calm down my daughter, speak to me) said Eytukan trying to stop Neytiri panicing, she took a deep beath and said "Gordon and Jake are in danger, a Thanator is chasing them I've seen the chase from my banshee, help them before Gordon crashes into Hometree and hurts someone" said Neytiri. Eytukan was stunned at this and he ordered Tsu'tey to get a killing group to stop that Thanator.

Meanwhile back at chase, Gordon had an idea "If I blow a extra long whistle, I'm sure someone can hear us" he said to himself about his own idea, so Gordon took a deep puff and blew his whistle as loud as he can. It echoed though the forest and the Omaticaya Clan heard it and knew that it was Gordon and Jake. "It's Gordon and Jake, they must not be far away" said Neytiri "I hope Gordon knows what is he doing" said Mo'at "I'm sure he is fine, but I already ordered Tsu'tey and his killing group to kill or scare the Thanator away" said Eytukan "I hope Gordon stops in time" Neytiri said to herself hoping that Gordon doesn't crash. Tsu'tey and his killing group are armed and ready to kill or scare the Thanator when Gordon with Jake in his cab pass safely.

Back at chase, Jake looked back and can see that the Thanator is already starting to feel tried "Gordon, the Thanator is giving up" said Jake "I'm doing it" said Gordon. Then Gordon and Jake can see Tsu'tey with a group ahead, Gordon whistled full volume as they pass, Tsu'tey and his group open fire at the Thanator, this is made the Thanator so scare that it stopped and ran away from the group far as it could. "Look like someone raised the alarm to the clan" said Jake "I don't know who done it, but at least we are safe" said Gordon.

Jake looked ahead and noticed that Gordon was going too fast and that Hometree wasn't far from where they are. "Stop! Gordon! Stop!" said Jake in a panic, Gordon looked ahead and noticed he was speeding too quickly "Oh, no I'm not going to stop in time" said Gordon "Brake hard as you can" said Jake. Gordon shut his eyes and put his brakes on hard. Jake took cover and waited for the crash. Eytukan looked and see Gordon braking hard to stop and Eytukan shouted a warning "Frapo ne wrr neto si ne kllte!" (Everyone get out of the away and get down!) said Eytukan to the clan. The Omaticaya Clan quickly get out of away and got down on the ground, Gordon was braking hard as he can, but he didn't that his glowing track made a long straight track with buffers at the end "Oh, I must stop" said Gordon to himself about stopping in time.

He entered Hometree still braking hard and then there was a loud bang that echoed around Hometree then came slience. When Gordon opened his eyes he can see that stopped dead right in front of the buffers. "Wow, I must been panicing in my mind then my glowing tracks given me a longer straight track and buffers to stop me, I'm saved" said Gordon about his ability that saved him from crashing into the central wooden spiral of Hometree. The clan got up from the ground and looked at Gordon. Eytukan couldn't believe what he was seen, he walked up to Gordon and said "How did you stop in time?" said Eytukan "In the panic in my mind, I must ordered my glowing tracks given me longer tracks and something to stop me" said Gordon "What is that in front of you?" said Eytukan pointing at strange frame with metal at his buffer height "They are called buffers they are designed to stop engines like me from crashing" said Gordon "Looked like you where saved by buffers" said Eytukan "Yes, that's right" said Gordon. Grace was looking at his wheels, she can see smoke from his brakes "Your brakes are smoking, they will take a very long time to cool down before you can go anywhere" said Grace.

Before Gordon can answer back, Neytiri came rushing and crying at the same time "WHERE IS MY JAKE?" said Neytiri in a loud cry voice, Gordon gasped "Bust my buffers! He was still in my cab after I applied my brakes I'm sure he is still in there" said Gordon. He whistled and said "Jake" a few times, but there was no reply he thought the worst has happened "Oh, my Jake must hit something hard when I hit the buffers" said Gordon "JAKE!" Neytiri cried as he rushed to Gordon's cab. When she climbed in, she found her beloved mate unconscious on the cab floor, when she touched Jake's head, he was bleeding and Neytiri quickly finds blood on long lever mounted on the driver's left side of the cab stained in blood from the injury which shows how Jake got knocked out by hitting his head on the mounted lever then Neytiri cries loudly in sadness for her mate's injury.

Tsu'tey and his killing group returned a few minutes later, then Tsu'tey hears crying from somewhere and asks Eytukan "Where is that crying from?" said Tsu'tey "Its Neytiri, she is crying because Jake was found in Gordon's cab unconscious with a head injury after hitting something" said Eytukan "I see" said Tsu'tey. "Can you get Jake out of my cab and to somewhere safe within Hometree" Gordon whispered "Sure" said Eytukan. Before they can do anything, Mo'at had heard about what's happened and she walked to Gordon's cab "My daughter, I overheard what happened please come with me" said Mo'at "I'M NOT LEAVING MY JAKE" said Neytiri still crying. Mo'at called over Eytukan and after a few moments Neytiri climbed out of the cab then Eytukan and Mo'at put Jake's body on Neytiri's arms and she carried him away "We will take care of Jake until he wakes up" said Mo'at. Neytiri said nothing she just nodded.

Gordon wondered to himself "I hope Jake is alright, he wasn't moving when Neytiri found him, but I'm sure I done something wrong" he said. Eytukan walked up and said in a quiet voice "Gordon please go to your cave until further notice" said Eytukan "As you wish Eytukan" said Gordon. Gordon puffed backwards slowly to his cave while Eytukan needed a long think about everything that happened today. When Gordon arrived slowly and carefully back to the cave, he thought to himself "Oh dear, It looks like I've REALLY done something wrong I'm sure Eytukan will understand, if he doesn't then I will be deeply trouble and been given punishment Oh, the Indignity" he said sadly and shaking with fear and his fate has started again.

After a very long time of waiting, Gordon was dossing in his cave and couldn't help him from worrying of what will happen to him. Eytukan walked to his cave and woke him up "Wake up Gordon" and he did wake up and standing in front of him was Clan Leader, Eytukan "Oh dear what will he say?" he asked himself, but Gordon can see that Eytukan wasn't angry with him, he was pleased "I've been hearing from Neytiri about what happened and I'm very pleased with you that no one in Na'vi history can outrun a Thanator and saving him with a life onboard" said Eytukan. Gordon was confused, but some guilt was still with him "Are you telling the truth or this is a joke?" said Gordon sadly "Yes, I'm telling truth, you are a very brave engine and the fastest engine in the clan" said Eytukan. Gordon's mood changed from feeling sad and guilty to pleased and proud "Really?" said Gordon "Yes indeed" said Eytukan, before Gordon can answer back Neytiri arrives also Jake was beside her. "Gordon, thanks for saving my life and I really blame that Thanator for causing you to have an accident that almost killed me" said Jake "But cheer up Gordon, it wasn't your fault that Thanator which chased you is to blame" said Eytukan "You have saved one of our Na'vi and you are the clan's hero" said Mo'at "Yes indeed You are a hero and the fastest engine in the Omaticaya Clan and also the bravest engine we never had" said Eytukan. Gordon was so happy that blew this whistle "Oh thank you, Eytukan" said Gordon

"By the way, what did I hit my head on after you banged into the buffers?" said Jake "Well I'm sure Neytiri will tell you that" said Gordon "Show me" said Eytukan. Neytiri and Eytukan climbed into Gordon's cab and it wasn't long until they found what Jake hit his head on "What is that?" said Eytukan Neyiti didn't know what is was "long lever mounted, I think" said Neytiri "I can explain that" said Gordon "What is it then?" asked Neytiri about the mounted lever "That is called a reverser know as an 'Reversing gear' which is used to control the direction of travel of the steam engine" said Gordon "Your cab has lots of different controls" said Neytiri "I can also explain that" said Grace "I forgot to say this to you, Gordon" said Eytukan "Which is?" said Gordon "Grace Augustine knows you and eariler on when you were away with Neytiri, she explained everything to us so we can understand you more" said Eytukan "What? But how does she know me?" asked Gordon, he was suprised at his. Grace laughed and explained "I've known all about you before I left Earth and I always wanted to see you" she said. "Fine enough" Gordon conceded.

"Sempul tsun 'ì'awn oe si Jake 'ì'awn hu Gordon?"(Father, can stay me and Jake stay with Gordon?) said Neytiri "Srane slä ke nìwotx txon" (Yes, but not all night) said Eytukan "Srane sempul" (Yes father) said Jake and Neytiri together. Eytukan walked back to Hometree to do his normal duties before resting the clan of the night, Jake and Neytiri stayed with Gordon until they where tried "Thanks for the company" said Gordon "We should do this more often" said Jake before yawning "I agree with that" said Neytiri "Come on, let's back to Hometree, I want to rest" said Jake "Yeah we should" said Neytiri. Neytiri and Jake walked back to Hometree to rest for the night as they left Neytiri called out quietly "Hahaw nìltsan" (Sleep well) she said, Gordon grinned, then he backed further into his cave until his tender buffers hit the the end of the cave very carefully and then he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
