Chapter 10: Jason vs. Avery

"Sorry for that unusually long wait people but we're back on track with battles!" Barry declared and the crowd roared.

"So on this side; we have Avery Wilson, who shall face off against Jason Night! Let's not keep them waiting any longer you two, or fines you shall receive." Barry threatened.

"Don't have to tell me twice! Lucario!" Avery threw his pokeball.

"So a Lucario? I shall face of with Ryia, my Garchomp!" Jason tossed his pokeball into the air.

"This three on three battle shall be on the Mountain field! Begin!"

"Stark, start us off with an Aura Sphere!" Avery commanded. Lucario smiled and shot the blue sphere at Garchomp who quickly flew over it.

"Ryia, show him your brick break!" Jason snapped his fingers. Garchomp made no hesitation and struck while she was in the air. Her arm slammed into Lucario and he was sent backwards.

"Close combat now!" Lucario was too quick for Garchomp and immediately punched and kicked Garchomp, finishing with a powerful toss to the ground.

"Ryia, once you're ready, use dragon rush!" Garchomp shot herself at Lucario, the blue light illuminating the mountains. She smashed into Lucario and he was sent into one of the tall mountains.

"Stark, are you ok?" Avery asked. Lucario quickly responded by jumping back onto the field, giving another sly smirk. "Perfect, then use metal claw!" Lucario lunged at Garchomp with his claws glowing a pale white. He slashed at her and she fell down.

"We're not giving in! Draco Meteor!" Garchomp's mouth glowed and orange light before a sphere ejected from her jaws. The ball flew into the very top of the arena before exploding, causing a meteor shower to rain down.

"Use extreme speed to dodge all of it!" Lucario nodded and averted every explosive sphere that came towards him.

"Close combat again!" Lucario grabbed Garchomp who was still I the air. Again, he punched and kicked her with a lot of force before spiraling her around and tossing her into a mountain.

"We're not done here! Brick brake!"

"Metal claw!" Lucario and Garchomp collided and forced their attacks against each other. Neither one budging too much.

"Extreme speed!" Lucario then forced against Garchomp with the power of the speed and knocked her back. He then swiped at her four precise times. She hit the mountain and rocks shot up. She tumbled down but managed to get up.

"Looks like she wants more. Aura sphere to finish this!" Lucario did as commanded. However, this didn't work well when Jason yelled for Garchomp to use dragon rush. When the attacks collided, Aura sphere merged into the Dragon rush, increasing the power. Garchomp was now headed straight for Lucario.

"Wait for it…" Avery and Lucario smiled. "Close combat now!" Lucario hit Garchomp just to slow her down, and then spiraled her into the ground with all of the force of both Dragon Rush and Aura sphere, knocking her out on impact.

"Garchomp is unable to continue, Lucario wins!" Barry waved a flag in Avery and Lucario's direction.

"Alright Stark! Great job!" Avery congratulated. Lucario smiled and gave a quick salute.

"Nice job Ryia, get a good rest." Jason was already pulling out another Pokémon.

"Charge!" Avery threw a pokeball right in the middle of the field.

"Electra! Electivire!" The large Yellow and Black Pokémon roared as he faced Lucario.

"Since we lost last round, we get first move. Charge, thunder punch!" Jason yelled.

"Let's get going Stark, use force palm!" Lucario raced towards Electevire, whose hand was already sparking with loads of electricity. Thunder punch missed and Lucario smiled once again. He placed his hand right on Electivire's and shot a green blast, sending Electivire flying backwards.

"Charge!" Jason yelled, but Electivire pushed himself up. He roared and stood proudly at the end of the field.

"Thunder!"

"Close combat!" Lucario went to run towards Electevire but was shocked by the thunder attack. He growled as the electricity was sent through his body. When Electivire stopped, Lucario fell to his knees. He was injured, but he was strong enough to continue fighting.

"Good job Stark, now, aura sphere!" Lucario stretched a bit before forming the sphere. He shot it at Electivire who was damaged heavily by it. He tumbled back towards Jason and struggled to get up.

"This will soon be over my friend. I hope you're ready." Avery called.

"I agree, it will be over, but it will be me who is victorious!" Jason declared.

"We'll just see about that, Stark, Close combat!' Lucario then jumped from Mountain to mountain, doing the occasional flip, trying to get to Electivire.

"Show off." Avery said under his breath. Lucario threw Electevire into the air, punching and kicking until Jason retaliated when he called a surprise thunder punch and shot both of them to the ground.

"Electivire is unable to battle! Lucario is the winner!" Barry declared again.

"Do you think you can go for three?" Avery asked. Lucario smiled and nodded. "Great, let's go for a perfect match."

"So it seems I have reached my last Pokémon. Let's get this done Selene…" Jason laughed as he revealed none other than his own Lucario.

"He has a Lucario as well. This is going to be a battle of fists. SO watch out Stark." Avery warned.

"A battle of Lucario's? If this battle was any more amazing, it would be in need of fines. One for each of them." Barry's voice got unusually high.

"Selene, Aura sphere!"

"Stark, you too!" The two Aura sphere's collided in the middle, creating a huge explosion, sending each Lucario tumbling backwards.

"Stark, close combat!"

"Selene, force palm!" Stark used the mountains to get behind Selene. He punched her and then tossed her. She smashed into the wall but quickly lunged back at Stark, tackling him. She pinned him down and put her paw on his stomach. He tried to escape but it was too late. The green light lit the entire stadium. Since she was so close, Selene flew upwards. Stark lay on the ground, still moving, but now extremely weak.

"Stark, it's time to prove your true power!" Avery yelled. Stark's eyes widened and he jumped to his feet.

"That's it! Metal claw!" Stark rushed to Selene and cut her five times before throwing her into a mountain using a close combat jump kick.

"Now Aura sphere!" Stark pinned Selene down and smiled, almost as if to say 'payback time'. He shot the aura sphere and the explosion sent him back, luckily he landed on his feet. Selene quickly recovered and jumped in front of Stark.

"It's time to end this! Stark, use aura sphere!"

"Selene, you too!" The two collided. Both trying to gain the upper hand by pushing on the aura. Stark was holding on with only one hand while Selene used both. Stark looked back at his trainer. Avery nodded and Stark smiled.

"You're free hand! Use force palm!" Stark then forced his arm past the collision of aura and put his arm on Selene's stomach. The two aura spheres became one and both the double sphere and force palm greatly affected Selene. There was a bright blue and green explosion. When the smoke cleared, Selene was kneeling, holding herself up with both arms.

"Last move of the round. Close. Combat." Avery smiled. Stark didn't even punch or kick; he plainly grabbed Selene, jumped, and spiraled her into the ground.

"Jason's Lucario is unable to battle. Avery's Lucario is the winner and Avery is the victor!" Barry waved the final flag.

"A perfect match, good job Stark." Avery high fived his Lucario before returning him.

"Good luck." Was all Jason said before he turned and left.

"Yes! We're going onto round 2!" Avery cheered.

A/N; sorry this took so long guys, I had a lot to do with school coming to a close. But it's summer now so I might be able to update more often. And a change on the match ups, since I never got a last name from the Ralph Oc, I couldn't use him, so he will be replaced by Sammy Riverdale. Any questions? Just leave a review.
