Chapter 5: Confrontation

"Uh Oh," Tony said. "We are screwed."

"First of all Ziva and Abby," Gibbs said sternly. "Ducky did not need me, and second McGee, DiNozzo why are you two half dressed in an elevator?"

"It's kind of hard to explain boss?" Tony replied.

"Well," Gibbs said. "You'll have plenty of time for that soon, now both of you ladies get to your work and you two come with me."

Tony and McGee both looked at each other with the "we are so fucked!" look on their face, but finished the final touches on each other and followed their boss into the interrogation room. Gibbs showed them to two seats and went on the other end to shut off the recording machinery and such.

He then walked back in.

"I think you two," Gibbs said pulling up a chair to the big metal table and sitting down himself. "Have some explaining to do, hmm?"

"Look boss," McGee studderd as he searched for an excuse. "We uh…we've been at uh…"

"We were at a "Couple's Retreat." Tony said finishing for him and taking McGee's hand in his.

Gibbs was speechless.

"That's where we've been, no lies," Tony continued. "We were in the clear until you found out."

"In the clear," Gibbs asked, still slightly confused. "What the hell are you two talking about?"

"Boss, me and McGee well we're…" Tony paused.

"We're dating." McGee finished for him.

This time Gibbs really was speechless, but somehow found words to say.

"I knew about you Tony, but McGee I never knew you were gay?"

"Yeah," McGee said. "I never told anyone except Tony, one night by accident."

"And actually boss, I'm bi," Tony corrected. "But either way that doesn't matter does it?"

Tony looked into McGee's eyes and then kissed him flat out on the lips.

"Is that proof enough for yah?" Tony asked. "Cause honestly boss, I don't really give a flying fuck about your "Rule 12" anymore?"

"McGee," Gibbs said more softly this time. "You are dismissed, DiNozzo I'd like a word with you privately please?"

McGee then stood up and left the room. Tony's eyes followed his boss as he too stood up and led DiNozzo to the door. Once they were out in the hallway, Gibbs shut the interrogation room behind them and started to speak.

"Tony…" Gibbs said.

"Don't speak," Tony said. "Or before you do, listen first for once, McGee and me are very happy and tonight we were planning on "third base", yes we're that serious, but before you say what you were gonna say, just hear this nothing you say or do to us will ever break our love."

"I was just going to say that I'm happy for you Tony," Gibbs said. "And that, I love you as an agent on my team and I hope this relationship will not be affecting that!"

"It never could boss," Tony smiled. "And well, who doesn't love me?"

Gibbs half smiled with a scoff. Tony then walked away to meet his lover to make their "plans" for tonight and Gibbs, well he just smiled and walked off in the other direction.

That night was one of the best of Tony and McGee's relationship moments, ever. They made love long into the night, and well they didn't care what Gibbs or anyone thought anymore! Because McGee loved Tony and Tony loved McGee and to them… that was all that mattered!
