I was just thinking of this when eating a orange ice pop. Random, Huh? xD I know I should be working on Dragon Children, But I am having a writers block on that.
Disclaimer: I AM NOT A MILLIONAIRE, SO I DON'T OWN THE FIVE ANCESTORS!
Nothing escaped Seh. No opponent went undefeated, No mission incomplete. But it Hok was one thing that managed to slip past him. Or so it seemed. But as we all know, Seh is a sneaky mofo.
Seh knew that Hok's favorite fruit was Oranges. Every evening, She always had one for desert. Every morning, She had one for breakfast. She also always had one for a snack.
Seh noticed that Hok's secret hobby was to dance. Whenever she thought she was alone, she would gracefully move her feet rheumatically. He would also watch her steps in her training, and sometimes her dancing would bleed into her training. Grandmaster never seemed to notice.
Hok's favorite color was green. She saw it as a color of peace, nature, and hope. She would love it when her hands were green from grinding herbs. Seh noticed how Hok's brown almost-round eyes sparkled when she saw the first green leaf on her favorite tree. She was very picky, though. She didn't like overrated greens, like the green of ripe limes.
He noticed her eyes weren't just brown. If you looked closely, You could see flecks. Flecks of green and gold, gray and hazel. They always seemed to sparkle, even in low-light.
Hok was as feminine as she was strong. The rest (Excluding Seh) were just too blind to see it. She had a mother's touch, a logical mind, and secretly wore nightdresses. How does Seh know, you may ask? He was doing a bit...uhhh... Sneaking around when he caught that picture from Hok's window. He mentally slapped himself afterwards.
Hok was as hot-headed as Fu, Seh soon figured out. She just didn't like to show it. One time, Seh commented on her cooking, and didn't seem to care. However, before they went to bed, She hunted him down and gave him a desert of crane beak fist. He knew not to mess with her again.
One thing that Seh REALLY had to look at to figure out, was Hok's habits. Soon enough, He figured out when she was stressed, she would lick her upper lip. She runs her fingers down her face when she's tired. When she would think, her eyebrow would slightly twitch. But his favorite habit of hers was when she was embarrassed or very happy, her eyelashes would bat rapidly and her cheeks would turn a lovely shade of red rose.
Grandmaster knew most of these things. But Seh knew more. One thing HE only knew, was that if you get close enough, If she let you, you could smell the faint scent of morning glories. Seh knew because when they were rough-housing, Long had knocked out Hok (Which he payed for in the form of beaks and fangs) and Seh volunteered to take Hok back to her room. He didn't figure it out until he shifted her to where her face was in the crook of his neck. He was fighting back a blush until he finally got her freaking door to open. He prayed that Buddha wouldn't strike him down.
Hok talked in her sleep, that was a no-brainer. Seh would sometimes stay up a little to hear about her dreams. He was always there to keep her safe from nightmares, cuddling her in his arms. But most of the time, She would be talking about peace and happiness for all. Seh wasn't surprised.
But one thing that he hopes no one else would never find out, was the way she tasted. From their first kiss, Seh noticed she tasted like the Oranges she loved so much with a hint of chocolate. Seh personally liked it. When they separated for air, She licked her lips and did the eyelash with the blush thing that Seh loved to see her do. From then on, She knew when his eyes were on her and blossomed in his gaze.
Because Hok knew, nothing escapes Seh, not even her.
