Video Game Insanity

Chapter 1

Don't ask why or how Harold has all this stuff in his room, for the sake of this fic, he just does.

I just don't feel there's enough fic with these two together, whether it be friendship or romance.

~8:00a.m.~

"Harold..." Lindsay whined "I thinks that's your name...I'm bored."

Everyone was inside, because it was raining.

Harold was just getting ready to play through his video game collection.

"I was gonna play video games for the next several hours." he stated

"Can I watch," she asked "pleeeeaaase?"

"Alright." he said

He decided to start with the Sega Dreamcast, so he connected it to the t.v.

Lindsay sat on the bed on her knees, waiting for him to start.

"What game is this?" Lindsay asked

"Sonic Adventure." Harold informed her

Lindsay watched him start the game.

"I think I've heard of this," Lindsay stated "it's a hedgehog right?"

"Yep." Harold responded

Lindsay watched in anticipation as the game started.

"What's that watery-type thing?" Lindsay asked

"That is Chaos, my dear." Harold said waiting for the cutscene to end

"Oh no!" Lindsay gasped, seeing the part where the cops tried to shoot Chaos "the bullets fell right out of him, cops what were you thinking?"

When Harold started playing, Lindsay became excited.

"Get him Harold!" Lindsay shouted "smack him in his gooey head!"

"I'm trying!" Harold said frantically making the blue hedgehog jump around, while trying not to lose rings

When Harold beat the first boss fight Lindsay clapped her hands.

"Yay!" she squealed "Take that, yucky thing!"

"There are a lot more fights with that thing," Harold said "believe me."

"What happens now?" Lindsay asked

"I get to go to my first action stage level," Harold said "it's on a beach."

"Ooh." Lindsay responded

After a couple more cutscenes, it got to the first level.

"You have to save that fox thingy?" Lindsay asked "and then what."

"Then I'll be able to play as him when I finish with Sonic." Harold explained

"Does Sonic have many levels?" Lindsay asked

"He has ten, plus some boss scenes." Harold said

Lindsay continued watching as Harold played the first level until he got to the end of it.

"Aw," Lindsay sighed, seeing the next cutscene "I can't wait to see you play as cute little Tails."

"I have to get everyone else first." Harold said

"There are more characters to play as?" Lindsay replied "neat."

After a second level, Harold acquired a character that Lindsay particularily liked, Amy Rose.

"Aww," Lindsay sighed "she's so cute, why doesn't Sonic like her?"

"Because," Harold explained "she nuts, and she's like three years younger than him."

"When do you get to play with her?" Lindsay asked eagerly

"Whenever I'm done with this part of the game." Harold responded

He didn't expect her to get so into the game.

Next Chapter picks up after this. There will be a lot of chapters, because there will be a lot of video games.

I'm so glad I still have my Sega Dreamcast.
