Michelle Tanner looked in the mirror and smiled.
This was it. The day she had been waiting for. The day every girl dreams about. The day of her wedding.
Michelle looked down at her dress. It was pure white and sleeveless. It had a small train and the top of the dress was patterned with small, clear, glass beads with a slight tinge of blue in for her something blue. She then looked down at her silk, white stiletto heels that she had only recently learned to walk in and silently prayed she wouldn't trip when she walked down the aisle.
"You look beautiful Michelle." Said her bridesmaid, Stephanie.
"Yeah, who'd thought that the youngest Tanner would be the first one to walk the aisle." Said her other bridesmaid, DJ.
Michelle smiled at them.
"Thank you." She said, "I'm just happy to be in love."
"You two are perfect for each other." Said Stephanie, a slight jealousy in her voice.
"Yeah, it's like you were meant to be." Said DJ.
"Oh my goodness, sweetheart!"
The girls turned around to see a surprised Danny standing in the doorway.
"Hi Daddy." Said Michelle.
"You look beautiful." He said.
"Thank you." She said.
"Girls, do you mind if I talk to Michelle alone?" Asked Danny.
"Talk away." Said DJ, ushering Stephanie out the room.
Once they were out Danny sat down.
"I just can't believe my baby's getting married at 19." He said, putting his head in his hands.
Michelle rolled her eyes.
"Dad, I'm not a baby." She said, folding her arms.
"I know, sweet heart, I know." Said Danny, "I just... Can't believe you're getting married. I can't believe I'm handing you over to another man at aged nineteen. Are you SURE you're not rushing into things?" He said.
Michelle sighed.
"Dad." She said, seriously, "If I'm doing anything I am definitely NOT rushing in to it. I've known him since my first day of pre-school. I've loved him since I can't even remember when. We've been together since we were 15. There is no WAY I'm rushing into this."
"True..." Said Danny, he then sighed and stood up, "If I trust any man with you, it would be the man who you smushed your jelly with his peanut butter to make PB and J."
Michelle smiled.
"Well, after today we'll be Mr and Mrs PB and J." She said, hugging him.
Danny laughed.
"Well I'm ok with getting used to calling you 'Mrs Teddy Henderson' "(I didn't know his last name so I just used his one from 'smart guy' :p)
"Michelle Henderson." Said Michelle, "It sounds good, doesn't it?"
Danny smiled.
"Perfect."
...
Michelle linked her arm with her father and began to walk the aisle.
Teddy looked up from the floor and his glance flew to Michelle. His eyes widened and a beam brighter than the sun spread across his face.
Michelle looked at her husband and smiled peacefully. Michelle always thought he looked good in a tux. She thought he looked even better when he smiled. His whole face lit up before her.
Michelle and Danny reached the end of the aisle and she began to pull away yet Danny held tight.
"Dad!" She hissed, "Let go!"
"It's ok Mr Tanner." Whispered Teddy, "I'll take care of her."
Danny sighed and released Michelle's arm.
"You better." He whispered back.
Danny turned and sat down.
"You look..." Began Teddy, "...Wow."
Michelle smiled at him, bashfully.
"Dearly beloved." Began the minister, "We are gathered here today to witness Teddy James Henderson and Michelle Elizabeth Tanner come together in holy matrimony. If anyone has any objections to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace."
The room swept silent, even Danny held his tongue.
"Well, we shall continue." Said the minister, "Now, you have written your own vows, is that correct?"
"Yes." Said Michelle.
"Well, then proceed. Do we have the rings?" Said the minister, Teddy's best man, Aaron Bailey, held up the ring and so did DJ, "Very well, Teddy, you start."
"Ok." Said Teddy, looking a little nervous, "Michelle, Your beautiful, funny, smart, a fun person to be with, you're a killer thumb wrestler (The crowd laughed at that) and your also my best friend. If someone told me that I would be marrying Michelle Tanner twelve years ago I would have laughed and asked 'Why would I marry my best friend?' Well, Michelle, today I could come up with a thousand reasons. You know, some times when I look at you, I still see that 6 year old girl that gave me her banana, the girl that dressed up as pebbles at her birthday party, the girl that had the jelly to my peanut butter I love you and I will forever and I can't wait to begin our lives together."
The crowd gave an 'awwww' at the end. Teddy slipped the ring onto Michelle's finger
"Michelle?" Said the minister.
"Teddy." She began, "Teddy Teddy Teddy. If someone told ME I would be marrying YOU twelve years ago I'd probably have said something like 'Are you nuts?' Well, then call me crazy because I am completely in love with you. I remember, back when I was about six, maybe five, I got upset after I got in trouble. So I packed up some things in a tiny little suit case and ran away from home. Remember where I ran away to? I ran to your house. And remember when you told me you were moving to Texas, when we were about 6? I tied you up in my bedroom so you wouldn't have to leave. And remember on my first day of kindergarten? You thought I was insane because I said hello like Bullwinkle. But, in no time, we became best friends. And we will be forever. Teddy, I've loved you since the first moment I saw you, I just didn't know it yet."
The crowd, yet again, let out an 'awwww'. Then, Michelle slipped a ring upon Teddy's finger.
"That was beautiful." Said the minister, "Now, Teddy James Henderson, do you take Michelle Elizabeth Tanner as your lawfully wedded wife, in richness and in poorness, in happiness and in sadness, in sickness and in health, do death do you part?"
"I do." Said Teddy, smiling.
"And do you, Michelle Elizabeth Tanner, take Teddy James Henderson as your lawfully wedded husband, in richness and in poorness, in happiness and in sadness, in sickness and in health, do death do you part?"
Michelle out a large grin.
"Oh." Said Michelle, "You got it, dude!"
The Tanners gave a private chuckle, along with Teddy.
"Then I now pronounce you husband and wife." Said the minister, "You may now kiss the bride."
Teddy smiled and leaned in and kissed Michelle, passionately.
There was a whoop in the crowd as the two pulled apart.
"WAY TO GO, MUNCHKIN!" Yelled Jesse, punching the air.
Teddy held out his hand and Michelle grabbed it. The two walked back down the aisle, where a wedding car was waiting for them.
...
Michelle looked up from her table and saw Teddy, with his hand stretched out to her.
"Mrs Henderson." He said, "May I have this dance?"
Michelle took his hand and the music started. Miley Cyrus's 'When I look at you' played as Teddy and Michelle took their first dance.
Jesse watched from afar and looked at the other two men who he had lived with for the past nineteen years.
"She sure grew up fast, didn't she?" He said.
"She sure did." Said Joey.
They watched as Michelle rested her head on Teddy's shoulder as they danced on.
"He's a lucky man." Said Jesse, "He's got a great little munchkin."
"He sure did." Said Danny.
They watched as Teddy whirled Michelle around and how she laughed happily as he did so. No two could have been happier at that moment than the new Hendersons.
...
Well, tada!
My first full house fic!
I hoped you like it and, yes, I know the wedding was short but I have only ever been to two in my life and all I really knew is what I learned from tv. And, again, sorry I didn't know Teddy's last name! And when I was writing this the first name came to mind was 'Henderson' so now Teddy has the same name he had in 'Smart Guy' :p Yup, I am SOOOO imaginative.
I am planning a possible sequel to this story.
