"Nice babe, that may have been the best freakin cheesy pep talk slash bitch talk ever made!" Wolf said smiling.

"I know right!" Red walks in with a pissed face on. I smiled to her and she shot me a death glare that would suit a bull well, funny since shes covered in red.

"Shut up everyone or I will shoot you" was all she said before plopping down of the leather sofa. Wolf raised an eyebrow. "those new psycho idiots were fighting all night and all yesterday and all when they got here. And guess what, some of it was Psychic because they have a bond too!" Wolf's eyebrow still happened to be raised when he spoke.

"I'm sure if you get James in here I can help block them out...speak of the devil!"James walked in. Red glared he looked confused.

"PMSing already. Can't help you there babe." he said and sat down of the sofa,wrapping an arm around her shoulders. She looked up at him and glared daggers. All he did was raise his eyebrows...the same way wolf had, maybe that's cause their brothers, yup there the Selphie brothers...and they hate each others guts. It's James fault though!

"Oh guess what Jamsey, me and Kait were...hanging out in your room last night!" Wolf said smiling. Okay its not all James fault, but its not all Wolf's fault either. "Oh wait dad said to always say it how it is, sooo, me and Kait slept in your room last night while you were out on a job!" Okay, so its pretty much alll Wolf's fault. But James did start it. He joined a gang and killed Wolfs first love, Ariana. I think hate is in order. That's happened to me before too though, except Gabriel tried killing me, his first love...and both of us are alive. Okay so maybe not get over it!

Jame's placed a perfect I Hate You face on before kissing Red flat out on the lips. Sooo, Wolf kisses me, Then repeat. Then repeat, then repeat then...by then I had slapped him and pulled him in for a real kiss. He moaned against me.

Anabel stepped in. "Again I though we covered this made people uncomfortable." some nodded, me and Wolf just smiled. "okay, so I'm here to here the whole story, Kait how do you know these people?"

"Well, since I'm a person it is possible for me to know many persons. See what I mean?" I smiled and walked out of the room.

Gabriel's POV

"You know, one of my favorite annoying answers she has ever given has to be the 'you should try answering that yourself if you can I'll give you my answer, but only if your right in which case you wouldn't need me to answer you, would you? So it seems the only way this is going to work is if I

really give you an answer which I don't want to so I wont.' and she walks off smiling" Erind says.

"once she answered me with 'here's a puzzle for you, if two kids were to run across the street and not get hit by the fast moving train but both get hit by the fast moving train than how did the dog they had with them survive if he ran right next to them?' I could never figure it out!" Neire said quietly as he stacked another card on his tower of cards.

"Ooh, once I said 'well are you going to answer me?' and she says '3.14, brush two times a day, it's iced tea, 4,628, America, world war 2, civil rights, in the foyer, no sauce, slavery in the south, Charlemagne, too thick...' and she went on and on giving me random answers to nothing at all!" Said one of the twins. I raised my eyebrows, she never seemed like one to surpass a question.

"Soo, umm, Gabriel are you going to give me an answer?"

"Pi"is all I said as I stood up and walked into the room in which I was offered. I laid down and thought. What would have happened if I had stayed with Kait? Would she not be so...angry about everything? You could only wish. Was my only though before I fell asleep.

Kait POV.

I was having my nightmare again. The one from when I left the others at the institute. I remember it perfectly and the dream is a mirror image of it.

I stood in the street confused. Why didn't they come? What did I do? Did I upset them?

"were done with the running." whats that supposed to mean? And Rob let me leave too. I had thought he loved me. What am I supposed to do now? I haven't been alone for a while. Was my thought before it hit. A large creature with the body of a huge horse. It's feet were webbed and grayish scars covered its black body. It had the head of a horse but with webbed ears and large horns. It didn't have eyes. But it did have a mouth. A mouth with teeth the size and sharpness of a saber-tooth tiger. On its back were large webbed wings...and a man, sort of. He looked as if he were made of shadows.

All it did was stand there. Until I tried to run. It followed my with the speed of a cheetah as its rider sliced a whip across my back. My backs skin had a dark slash right down to my tailbone from the top of my neck. He sliced again gripping my wrist making me go towards him. That's when it happened. He breathed onto me pushing black smoke into my nose, eyes,mouth until he slowly died. Leaving a boy around my age wearing a dungeons and dragons tee- shirt.

I sobbed over him. The creature was gone too gladly but what I didn't notice was my eye had become black with no white just black. I wanted to be somewhere safe.

And I feinted waking up on a sidewalk in New york bleeding through my shirt onto the side walk. That how I gained these skills, but the problem is, now I'm just the host of this...creature.

I woke up sobbing and I felt the scar on my back burn. I looked up and noticed why I had woken up.

Gabriel POV- during Kait's dream.

I was standing in an alley. I saw Kait standing beside Zetes sobbing. He was smiling in a manic way. I took a few steps closer to them and I saw why Kait was crying, she had a large cut along her back. She was wearing the dress from the masquerade. The dress was dripping black, which was oozing out of the cut. It was just like blood but it was the color of onyx.

"Kait... I" she turned around to look at me and I saw the most horrific sight. Her eyes, that were usually the most beautiful thing on her body were black, beady black eyes with no white. She started to shift uncontrollably until she was only a misty smoke-like shadow. She twirled her wrist creating a whip out of the smoke slashing against my face.

"I felt blood pour out of it but that didn't matter as much as Zetes next move. He pulled a small dagger out from his coat and stuck it in her stomach, then he just walked away. Slowly as she fell the smoke drifted away from her and all that was left of the creature was the eyes which slowly became her beautiful witch eyes. They eyes I love. But they now held sadness.

I caught her before she fell onto the ground and I held her there.

"Why didn't you save me?" was all she said before the color drained from her face and she died. Her lifeless blood had become red again as it drifted from her body. Tears ran down my face, stinging when the hit the still bleeding slice. I didn't care about that. Kait was dead and it was my fault. I cried out into the night two words before waking up.

"I'm Sorry!"

I was worried to death it wasn't only a dream. I couldn't stop myself. I ran into Kait's room and I saw her crying in her sleep. I took a step forward and she woke. Tears worse than before. After a moment I walked towards her. Another motion I couldn't stop. They were working together one by one until another move was made. I touched her arm. Then pulled her in for a hug tears coming now even from me. It was such a rarity, I didn't even know I could cry. She looked at me sadly.

"I'm sorry, god I'm so..." I was saying as I sobbed. She silenced me with a kiss. A passionate loving kiss. I pulled back. "I thought you with Wolf..." I said panting.

"I don't love Wolf though." and she kissed me again, and again. I trailed kisses down her neck.

"i'm sorry, sorry, sorry" I said after each kiss.

"Don't apologize..." she breathed as we kissed. We kissed until we fell asleep, in each others arms.

Kait POV

I woke up the next morning with arms wrapped around me. Protective,loving arms. I smiled when I saw they were Gabriel's and not Wolf's. Sure he's fun but I couldn't help but not love him. I didn't even know I loved Gabriel. I thought it was Rob, but deep down I knew. I was in love with Gabriel and nothing would change that.
