My Prison
I am smart, cunning and devious
Prepared to fool you
Creating the illusion you want to see
To satisfy your selfish needs
I am seeking revenge for my past
To get rid of the pain I've had for
Years and years and years
Knowing it may never leave
I am filled with anger, hate and envy
Seeing her with him
But I harden myself from emotion
So I can get what I came for
I am the sailor Edmond Dantes
The Italian sailor Sinbad
The priest Abbé Busoni
The English nobleman Lord Wilmore
I am the Count of Monte Cristo
