"Got any threes?" Sheldon asked as he took his turn at playing Go Fish.
Leonard shook his head. "Nah. Go fish."
"Why do they call this game Go Fish anyway? I don't see the fish!" Raj commented with his accent, earning a look-up from his three best—and probably only—friends.
Howard sighed. "Raj, I thought we've all had this conversation."
"Yes, we did. But I never got my answer," the Indian guy said with a frown.
"Do you remember the last time you asked us that question?" The only bespectacled man asked discreetly as Smelly Pooper disinfected each and every card on the pile—without looking at them, of course.
"And do you remember what happened?"
Raj shook his head.
"For Aquaman's sake, Sheldon, stop spraying the cards with alcohol!" Howard reprimanded his OC-friend.
"Yes, and I will stop being healthy by being contaminated with your sickly little germs and then eventually stop living as well. So, if you don't mind, I'm still wiping them with wet tissue, now with 70% alcohol."
"Sheldon, why is this game called Go Fish?" Leonard inquired after a minute of battling with what he knows was best—not speaking at all.
"Well, I didn't read about that yet, but my theory states that there may have been four men bored out of their wits—comics and superheroes weren't invented yet then, you see—and so they went fishing on their very extravagant pirate ship. But then the fish weren't biting at all, possibly their body clocks haven't alerted them or simply stated that it was not feeding time—"
"Unlike Raj who thinks every after five minutes is feeding time," Howard cut in.
"—and so they played cards. But they didn't know which game to play! Solitaire was for one person only, and poker was not famous at that time yet, so inspired by their current activity, they decided that they will just fish in their own little ingenious ways. Thus Go Fish was born. Hold your applause," Sheldon said, as he laughed that short and scary (scary because he seems to be choking or hyperventilating) laugh.
Leonard cast a glare towards Raj. "Anymore questions, Slumdog Millionaire?"
Raj was snoring his pants off. "No, Wonder Woman. Don't fuck him, fuck me instead!"
Leonard sighed and looked at the cards in his hand. "Got any fives?"
Sheldon sat up. "Go fish."
