Ariana.

I rolled my eyes at Sean as Trevor continued to read the description in the book "It's exactly the same thing Lyden Brock wrote." I heard him say in amazement.

"Are you saying that Lyden Brock, the character, was real?" Hannah asked Trevor quickly.

"Someone came down here, someone saw all this, someone got out and told Verne," Trevor shrugged, looking around like a kid in a sweet shop.

"Someone got out?" Sean repeated, smiling widely, I couldn't help but notice his hazel eyes sparkling "That's the best thing I've heard all day!" He laughed, looking around.

"Doesn't this completely blow your mind?" Trevor asked as we walked over to some giant poufy dandelions. I blew on one of them and millions of tiny fluffy umbrellas flew around me

"My mind is blown, yes," Hannah cracked a smile, her electric blue eyes sweeping around the breath-taking atmosphere. We began to explore again, Sean and I glanced at each other every now and then, in utter amazement at the fact we didn't know that this world existed.

We walked further and we reached a place that was covered in something like looked like huge gigantic mushrooms "Enormous fossilized mushrooms," Trevor said.

"Sort of like humongous fungus?" Sean asked loudly. I giggled, even if it was one of the worst jokes I've ever heard, but it was cute.

Trevor showed me and Sean a picture in the book, it was exactly what we were singing, the giant mushrooms.

"Does this mean everything in the book is real?" Hannah asked, pointing at the picture in the book and then at the mushrooms.

"Probably." Trevor said, flicking through my pages.

I looked around to find Sean and saw him running off somewhere, I quickly followed him.

"HELLO!" I yelled, jumping on his back. He quickly grabbed the back of knees and supported my weight. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"You owe me a piggyback" Laughed Sean as he continued walking.

The ground suddenly rumbled and I gripped onto Sean tighter "I've got you" Sean said softly to me.

"Do I weight a lot?" I whispered in his ear, suddenly feeling very insecure about my weight.

"No, you're as light as a feather" He chuckled back, I looked back in front of me and me and Sean both gasped as we saw a large twisted tree with a sort of tree house or a high cave.

"Whoa…" I whispered, jumping from Sean's back.

"Trevor come quick," Sean yelled.

"Sean?" Trevor called back, a few seconds later the sound of leaves and trees being shuffled came from behind us. Sean and I both took a few steps towards the tree.

"Race you there" He winked.

I scoffed as he ran away "You're on" I called to him, chasing him up.

"Yeah, wait up," Trevor called somewhere from behind us.

We climbed up the tree and entered the little tree house, but on the inside it was much bigger.

"Man, this would be the perfect place to play XBOX" I heard Sean say from beside me. I scoffed and looked at him in disbelief.

"We're in the bloody enter of the earth, maybe going straight to our death or something like that and all your care about is your XBOX?" I asked him in complete disbelief. He just shrugged and ran towards something that looked similar to a window.

I couldn't help but laugh. Sean was possibly close to his death and he quite happy. I wish I was like that, I wish that I could be happy all the time even though my dad completely ruined every chance for me to be happy in life. I sighed deeply and lay down on a nearby hammock. I closed my eyes and soon enough fell asleep.

"Ari…" I heard a sad, tearful voice tremble in my ear. I opened my eyes and was met with tear-filled hazel eyes, Sean's.

"Sean… what's happened?" I asked, sitting up quickly and looking closely at him. His cheeks had tear tracks running down them "A-are you alright?" I asked quickly, taking his hand quickly.

"W-we found my d-dad…" He stuttered, fresh salty tears falling from his eyes.

Bad excuses, baby it's true, I can't excuse this
Causes white lies turns to black lies and I lose

Ooh it's time to talk about truth now
It's time I, it's time that you
Know what you're getting into now
These white lies, these white lies
Turning into shades of grey, go darker
Everyday, they just won't go away, away
Ooh, it's time to talk about the truth now
These white lies, these white lies.
